She checked on me periodically while I sat in the sauna room. She even brought me some water and some of the green juice that she makes to give to you as part of the body wrap program. About an hour later, I received another call from the spa saying his appointment time had to occur at a later time than I booked. After multiple changes, inconvenience, and uncertainty, I decided to cancel the entire appointment. I requested a full refund. I spoke with the manager, and the owner personally called me to apologize and assured me that I would receive a full refund. I appreciated the apology, accepted it, and moved on. Imagine my surprise when I received my credit card statement and discovered that I had been charged the full amount for a spa day that never happened. I immediately contacted the spa and spoke with the manager, but the explanations I received for why the refund had not been processed were unconvincing and frustrating. After everything that happened, I should not have had to chase down money that I was already promised would be refunded. I'm now being told that I will actually receive my full refund. That remains to be seen. The entire experience has been frustrating, to say the least. Customer service isn't just about apologizing, it's about following through!
