Now this is what blew my mind, the employee had an earpiece in her ear talking to someone, after the customers walked away the employee continued her conversation on the phone which went EXACTLY like this... "They asking me where to sit like, why the F--- are you asking me that for? What you expect me to walk you over to a Seat? Get the F--- outta here you can sit your damn self down. Asking dumb ass questions, you see mad chairs and still asking me where to sit, why should I tell you where to sit you ain't my F--- child" and she kept going and cursing saying things like that, and she was talking so loud I don't know how the customers didn't hear her because, they were less than a feet away smh. All of the reviews I've read about this place mentioned the nasty attitudes these girls have and it's obvious the business owner doesn't read these reviews or just doesn't care because they should NEVER be working in ANY job where they have to interact with actual humans. Pleased I stumbled upon a groupon for this spot, sat in and ate from a limited menu. We were so pleased with the food we got delivery next, then treated ourselves to a sit down without groupon limits. Hands down The Best Find! My order arrives with white meat specifically breast, I call the location to try to understand why I didn't get what I ordered. I speak to a lady who basically tells me they didn't have any dark meat, when I asked why wasn't there a courtesy call she simply say I don't know. Went to Catfish Cafe the other night. The establishment has an area where you can sit and eat and it also has a separate area for takeout. The young ladies taking the takeout order were friendly and helpful. They explained the meals and what came with them. My fiancee got the catfish meal. we were told that it would be about 20 mins before it was ready because they cook it fresh. we had collard greens, candy yams and mac n cheese. The sides were ok. The tartar sauce for the cat fish (we asked for it) was so good, unlike any tartar sauce we've ever had and I generally don't like tartar sauce. I gave 4 stars and not 5 bc: they did not have lemons. If you're Serving seafood, you should have lemons in your restaurant, and 2, the service was slow. The girl working the restaurant was handling takeout and serving tables. There should be two people for each role. Friends order food as well when we got there and had to stand over 45 minutes to wait for the food. Person at the window was not helpful. When asked how muxh longer we would have to wait she told us one moment and did not come back for 5 minutes. At no point in time did she come and give us updates. Will not order here again, it is ridiculous to wait this long for food that takes 15 minutes to make and not even update your customers if they do have to wait. This place is amazing I literally cannot think of one negative thing . Our server Lenny (I think was his name) was so dope, informative and attentive . We tried every beer he recommended and they were all delicious . AMAZING; the fried catfish , grilled tilapia , grilled shrimp , chicken wings , meatloaf, smothered pork chops , collard greens , and the strawberry cheesecake wow. I ordered food from grub hub from this restaurant for the first time. I waited an hr and a half for the food to arrive, I literally took a nap while waiting. When it finally came it was cold! My grits were stiff and my eggs were not cooked how I asked for them to be (over easy) or maybe they were and got so cold the yolk dried up, the shrimp made me nauseous. Complete WASTE OF MONEY. They would get 1 star, but the waffle was okay, my boyfriend enjoyed his Buffalo wings and I liked the banana pudding (wasn't a good slice for $5 tho).
