Curry chicken rice and peas fried dumpling macaroni salad...

I've been coming to this place over years now And I get a little bit out of everything everything is just amazing ! You into Caribbean food they have what you need

Mac and cheese tasteless literally had no flavor just oil . Curry was good jerk good . But also charged 1$ for nothing. Cashier didn't explain why I was charged a 1 additional plus taxed on it . Waited almost 4 mins before someone realized there was a customer. This is the second time this happened. Never pay here without seeing receipt. Don't think I'll be returning there are other restaurants that have tasty buffets with out unnecessary unknown prices .no consistency here with customer service, prices or food taste .

I like that fact that I can choose what I want. Many selections and the food is good. Why 3 stars? #1. They have a big sign that says you have to pay a 4% fee to use credit cards. Ridiculous! Why not just add it in the food cost? 99% of merchants don't do this and most days, people don't walk with cash. #2. If you take one piece of oxtail, they charge you the $10 and change extra on top of your food. I'm really fussing for nothing, because I'm still going to buy food there. Lol

So we actually chose the wrong location but ended up just staying here to eat. They make you wear plastic gloves to grab the food at the buffet. First problem I had, considering it was my first time visiting was there was no labels or names for the food on the buffet except for the oxtails so it's like they expected you to know the Jamaica cuisine. It wasn't much on there I wanted and they didn't even have plantains. Plus the pricing was different for different things on the buffet also super confusing . I checked out up front and they weigh the food and I grabbed a water and a fruit juice . Remind you there was no pricing for those items . My juice ended up being $5 but wasn't worth it in my opinion. Wouldn't visit here again if in the area .

Was in the mood for some Jamaican food so decided to go to the local buffet spot. I frequented this restaurant often prior to the COVID outbreak but have up until this day avoided buffet/self service places. As you walk in there is a hand sanitizing station and plastic gloves are provided and required to be used when getting food from the buffet. Word to the wise. Be careful when preparing your plate. I had two containers...The first had rice and peas, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, curry chicken and curried goat. 2nd small container has just rice and peas with curry chicken. This totaled $27+. When I questioned the cashier about the price she informed me that since I had curried goat on my plate I was charged more. I get it, I get it! ...Those are the rules...which are in fact posted far away from the serving buffet way out of sight. The upcharge was roughly an additional $2 per pound. Not worth it for the amount of goat that I got..but..I get it. These are the rules.. Now about the food. Neither the curry chicken or goat had curry flavor. The rice was hard and also lacked flavor. I wasn't at all pleased with the experience or the food this trip. Will think twice before returning I must note that I had to pretty much scream to be heard because the music was blasting making it hard for us to hear each other. Tip: Turn down the music a couple of notches so that you can provide attentive customer service Also: have a sign posted NEAR the items that have and upcharge so that it is clear to the patrons of how much they may be charged.

Jamaica Breeze! I've been coming here for some time and this place hasn't failed me yet. It's a buffet style like menu. Their breakfast is included in my every Saturday routine before going to the hairdresser. I've had their lunch/dinner a few times, and it's always been fresh. I will say though, that their lunch/dinner menu has an extensive selection to choose from (not saying anything bad about their breakfast menu), so brace yourself. You may find yourself circling the buffet more than once. My son enjoys their Bun & Cheese which is amazing!

I like this restaurant. It's buffet style/ weigh your food type of spot. It is always crowded in here when I come. I don't mind the crowd. It just lets you know that the food is good and worth buying. The thing that I don't like is that they are sometimes too slow. I would like to be in and out of this place but that is a never. You go inside, grab a tray., and start to fill up the tray with your desired food. I love their food though. It is very tasty. I usually pack enough for about two days worth of food and it comes out to about $15 a plate. That is not bad. I have seen some reviews and people had crab legs on their plates but I have never seen crab legs when I have gone. Maybe next time.

I enjoy my food when I actually taste the food and not the salt so I loved it. Others complained not salty/seasoned enough but it was perfect to me. Chicken had the right amount of crunch and tenderness. The salmon was meaty (not fatty) and seasoned just right. I had the bbq salmon and it was delicioso! The Mac n cheese was a good blend of cheeses and 'cheesy' pull was excellent. Potato salad just right. The service was top notch despite the place being sold out and very busy!! Definitely will return, hopefully on a less busy day and time. Parking could be an issue but we lucked up and got a spot a block away.

The food was flavorful and well-prepared, although some dishes leaned a bit salty for my taste. I ordered the sautéed shrimp and grits. The shrimp were delicious, but I wish the dish came with a larger portion of grits. The gravy was very generous and ended up making the dish a bit soupy, so a little more grits would have helped balance the dish. Other highlights from our table included the fried shrimp and waffles, yams, and mac and cheese, all of which were excellent. Another guest in my party ordered the BBQ salmon and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. The ambiance is casual, comfortable, and inviting, making it a great spot for either a local brunch or a relaxed dinner. The service was attentive and pleasant throughout our visit. We were even greeted by the owner upon arrival, and his friendliness and hospitality immediately made us feel welcome and set a positive tone for the entire experience. Overall, this is a solid neighborhood restaurant with good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent customer service. I'd definitely return to try more items from the menu.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and I had the chance to meet the owner, Bobby, who was very approachable and took the time to introduce himself. My interactions him and his team I would rate 5-stars. I value supporting Black-owned businesses, which made the visit even more meaningful. One piece of constructive feedback: I ordered fried whiting, and the fish I received did not appear to be whiting. The fish was okay overall, but I would have appreciated being informed if it was unavailable so I could have chosen something else. I'm currently avoiding red meat, chicken, and pork and eating fish only during this Lenten season, so I'm especially particular about my food orders. Because of that, not receiving what I requested was disappointing. For that reason alone, I'd rate the food 3 stars. Because the overall experience was pleasant, I will give a 4 star rating--as I do plan to return to explore other items on the menu. I might order the whiting again, but will confirm the order before leaving and will return to sample more of the menu, especially since my parents love barbecue.
