    Fiction section at the store

So well organized - it's alphabetical and by genre. Great prices, amazingly friendly staff with good music choices. So many selections, I had to restrain myself. Got 3 books in great condition, 2 paperbacks and 1 hardcover for only $26 total. I can't recommend this store enough. Any book lover will totally adore it.

Love this place! What a gem! Tons of kids books. Great policy on trade ins. Great selection. My personal favorite is the sports and leisure as well as travel section. My kids love the kids section too. Great to see a store that reduces waste in this industry.

    Gift items as well.

Cozy shop with a varied selection of used books. Fiction, biography, mystery, history, graphic novels, comic books, children, young adult, cooking, crafts, literature, poetry, your getting it a readers dream. Everything is well labeled, the staff super helpful. It was a nice quiet retreat to enjoy while we waited out rush hour. They buy, sell and trade, with appointments for trading. We will return!

    Bookstore find!

I have been in this shopping center dozens of times, and somehow missed the fact that they have a little used bookstore. I very rarely buy new books, so I was so excited to hear about this place. I found a book I planned on taking with me to the beach, but am currently gobbling up right now (it didn't look as beat up when I left the bookstore). They gave me a 20% discount for joining the mailing list. Can't wait to get an email for their offers so I can head back here.

If you are a voracious reader like I am, discounted books are a very good thing! Over the years I've been to several stores like this and Cathy's is the best by far. To me there are two keys to her success. Volume- There are many thousands of books here. A lot folks like to read specific genres' and Cathy's has the volume to make it likely you'll find some gems. Organization- This place is beautifully organized! You'll be able to find what you like quickly and easily. Especially in this economy, it's nice to have a place like Cathy's around.

Thanks Yelp for helping me notice this amazing find. I drove past this shopping center a bunch of times and didn't look at the stores. I'm sorry I did not stop sooner I found the prefect cookbook at a super reasonable price. Kids books for my son which he loves The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back to check out the new book arrivals.

This is a view of one of the three main aisles. Super cozy.

Guy at the desk gave me only $5.00 store credit for four books that were mostly new and cost me at least $60.00. I feel ripped off.

Finally decided to stop here after driving by the sign for "Books" for literally years. The store…read moredoesn't appear to be very large from the outside, but, you may find yourself slightly overwhelmed once you walk in. The books are practically floor to ceiling in some areas with many of the shelves being two stacks deep. Books are organized by genre and first letter of author's last name. Genres range from Mystery and Romance to Classics and End Table books. There is also a room full of children's books and a decent selection for young adults. I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere of the store. It is relaxed and fairly quiet. No one comes up to ask what you're looking for (although you can ask for specific titles/authors if you need) or eyes you while you're digging through the stacks trying to find exactly what you want. There are several step stools around to help you reach the highest shelves and be sure to grab a shopping basket at the entrance, as you'll likely need one. Remember, all of these books are used and come in varying conditions. All of the books that I purchased were in good to excellent condition. For the price of $3 per book, you can't beat it. He even accepts trade-ins, which then brings the price down to $2 per book, if I understood correctly. He accepts cash and credit. I have no complaints at all and will definitely be going back to gauge how often the stock changes. Thankful to have a used bookstore nearby. What I spent today on 12 books wouldn't have even gotten me 3 at Barnes & Noble.

I walked out with a couple great books to add to my collection, and will be back soon to pick up some more! My favorite thing about this store is that they offer hard to find books for a great price. They have an extensive Pennsylvania section which includes biographies about many of of the small colleges dotting the southeast part of the state, and a large amount of genealogical books as well. I was strapped for time and didn't get a chance to explore the entire store, but the sections I perused left me with a great feeling about the place. The lady who helped me check out was extremely friendly as well. Have already recommended this store to a couple friends and family, and I will personally be making the trip back out as soon as next week. Highly recommend!

The owners of THIS store have been in the book business for a while. Both put in years at a large chain bookstore. They've used that experience to create a store people WANT to shop.
