My husband lost his job and we now aren't able to afford everything on our layaway so we went up there to see if we could get what we could get out of layaway for christmas for our kids and the lady manager said she would have to charge a ten percent restocking fee on the entire layaway plus three dollars I said," Man thats fucked up there is no way we can pay thirty two fifty, we are totally broke already." and she was like I cant do anything about it but you can come in and talk to Mr. smith tomarrow he will be in from nine to five so I said ok and my husband was trying to explain about him losing his job, I told him its not doing any good she cant help us you can just come up here and talk to mr.smith in the morning and we left. My husband went to baskins this morning to talk to mr.smith and tried explaining our situation and mr.smith told my husband that because i cussed out his manager last night he would have to call corporate and see what they can do for us, I did not cuss his manager out if i would have cussed her out she would know it for sure. granted i did us a curse word because i was mad about the situation but i would not have cursed her out in the first place but now i am really upset because she has said i did something i didnt do. another is i can see paying a restocking fee on the things we arent able to get but not the entire purchase because we are getting some of it. Also mr.smith needs to look at his camera's and he can see that i did not cuss his manager out. Baskins in henderson will not ever get my business again and if i have to pay a restocking fee i will not purchase any of the items i put on layaway and take my business elswhere. Lesson learned, don't put layaway at Baskins Department Store in Henderson texas.

One checker and you could tell she wasn't into her job or customer service at all. Just going thru the motions. It wasn't just me complaining. The whole line was. At one point there were 9 people waiting forever and 3 people waiting on presales and 1 person waiting on an online order. It took my whole lunch hour to get a few little items. One lady said she would not return and the other said if she wanted to shop at Belk she would go to Lufkin. I'm not too sure I will be back!
