Edit** Finally got a response after I left a negative review. I asked for a tattoo at the convention. I was taken to "Waffles" (Adolfo Herrera). What I asked for was a small firefly. I showed them a pic of exactly what I wanted. The artist went outside of the stencil he created and did not follow what I wanted at all. When I reached out to the artist to have him fix it, I was told that he would not be at the next convention that was closest. I reached out to the shop asking for them to review and help me resolve this. I was told they were traveling and would reach out. I reached out a day later and still nothing. They refuse to give me a refund after I'm having to go to someone else for a cover up. Pictures are of what I asked for vs what I got. read more

I had the pleasure of having Dani do a Celtic dog for me at The Villain Arts show in Chicago. I got in touch with her a few weeks before the show and gave her some ideas, and ended up combing elements of two of the designs I sent her. While sitting in the chair we had a great conversation about a few things, and she explained the different needles she was using for the piece. I was also blown away by her portfolios she had with her. Very professional, as well as the other guys from the shop that I interacted with. read more

My wife and I went to a convention and got a tattoo from them. She got a simple tattoo. He did a horrible job with keeping lines straight, things symmetrical, and shading. I had to stand behind her and tell him how to shade correctly. My wife has tried to reach out to the shop and has been left hanging. I would NOT go here or if you see them at a convention, keep walking. read more

I have gotten about 4 piercings here, none of them were even at the okay mark. I went to get my bridge done here and it started acting up due to the wrong jewelry being used, so I went back about 2 weeks later and asked the piercer Angela to change it for the right one. She couldn't get it in and it started bleeding and It was extremely painful so I asked her to stop and she insisted on continuing to push it in, all while the receptionist and another artist at the shop were in the studio watching and the receptionist was clearly grossed out and squirming, while shouting how gross it was. I also got my belly button and both nostrils done and with one of my nostrils I immediately started gushing blood and throwing up and she still went to pierce my other one in the middle of me vomiting. This one was also done with the wrong jewelry and the jewelry was cheap, bent and fell apart. With my belly, she failed to do an anatomy check and took way too much skin and pierced it way above my navel, which even if I did have the anatomy I wouldn't have been able to heal it because of how little room it had to breathe it was also done with cheap metal and it started discoloring around my navel. I have many other piercings done by different shops and they were all taken care of the same way but none of them reacted this way. Also very dingy and doesn't look very clean. read more

I've been here twice for both a piercing and a tattoo and loved both experiences! I recently got both sides of my nostrils pierced and it was SUPER quick. I've gotten them pierced before and this was the least painful one i've gotten. The vibe is real chill and I will definitely come back anytime time I come to the area and need anything done. read more

0 Stars if it were an available option. My friend and I went in to get a few simple ear piercings. (rook, tragus, double helix) when going back, the piercer did not seem clean at all. I sat to get my rook pierced first, and she asked what I was getting multiple times. She did not use any type of vaseline on the needle, as I have typically experienced before, did not mark the area. She directly went to pierce without warning, and put in the jewelry. I looked in the mirror and I couldn't see the jewelry, so I took a picture of it. SHE PIERCED MY DAITH. I had to tell her that she pierced the wrong thing and her response was "oh shit, do you want me to do the rook on the other side?" Not one time did she apologize for piercing the wrong area. I immediately said please remove it and I would just like to get my money back. THEN they couldn't get the jewelry off had a second person come to help, and she tried to jump in without washing her hands, or wearing gloves. I am a 25 y/o female with plenty of piercings.. The tattoo artist started a tattoo that I paid $1500 and can't finish it. They refuse to give me a refund. So now I'll have to dispute with the bank and Venmo. I'll remove this negative review if they provide even a partial refund. However, telling me there is no refund and if I want it done I have to travel to a random location where they'll be around the country to get it done is unacceptable. What kind of person, let alone a company, would take someone's money, not do the work and not give a their money back?! Such a high dollar amount too! Not even a partial refund. Terrible people, that's who. Not people you should let work on you or pay money to that's for sure! read more

Me and my husband went in to get some tattoo ointment, when checking out we were gonna pay with cash but the man said they didn't do cash but they offered cash app and had an ATM so we sent it through cashapp. Then a week or so later we went back to get some more and the lady said they only took cash but they still had the option for cash app. And then gave us attitude saying she's the manager and what the man does in the day time is his problem. read more

There are sooooo many tattoo places in Killeen, RIGHT!? I did a lot of looking around, and found a great artist at Cats Tattoos. I had two tattoos done (one cover up and one new) by Phest, and he did an OUTSTANDING job. I wouldn't go elsewhere. The guys are great, their work is awesome, and the shop is clean - no flash art! They love customs and aren't looking to make a quick buck off of drunk 18 year old Privates coming home from the club...which I really appreciate as a NCO who's seen way too many drunken and regrettable tattoos. If you're looking for a custom tattoo, I'd recommend going here because they guys love what they do, and it shows. Although I only have experience with Phest, I have seen the other artist (Bones) in action and he does exceptionally good work as well. They work together like family, and are very easy to talk to about ideas you have for your tattoo. If you're looking for custom work, this is the place to go. The one downside is that they do not have a sign that's visible off of Rancier, so it's a little hard to find at first (which is the only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars). It's right next door to Cat Customs (for cars) and Koreana Korean BBQ. Go check them out! You'll be glad you did. They really are a "cool azz tattoo studio". read more

I had several piercings done by Dani, she was amazing. I have had piercings in the past that were painful, she was able to pierce with minimal pain. Her wonderful customer service did not end there, she has seen me on several occasions since to switch out my piercings for me ensuring that they are healing properly and that the change of jewelry is done properly. I could not have asked for better service and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a piercing. read more

This just wasn't a good place to me my rating isn't based on their tattoos because I didn't get one from them but my wife and I went in to try to schedule an appointment they didn't show us any art work wouldn't give us a price range and the artists started going back and forth with each other because none of them wanted to do it finally one said to come back later in the day and maybe he'd be able to do it so we went down the street to a place called Familia ink tattoo and the environment as soon as we walked in was better they talked about which artists style was better and then once it was decided T.J. was going to be out artist he really worked with us to makes personalized tattoos for my wife and I so I suggest to just go two building down the street they'll take care of ya read more

So, Bones is amazing. He did my knuckles EXACTLY how I wanted them...exactly! But, I'm going to tell you my experience with this shop. I walk in and speak to Chapman and tell him that I had called about wanting to get my knuckles done and Angela had told me to come in. The first thing he told me was, "You know it's going to fade right?" Yeah, I'm tracking, I also have my feet done, and some parts have faded, doesn't mean I don't like it, doesn't mean I won't retouch it later. "Good, because I don't do no touchups or nothin." Then he continues on about how getting knuckle tattoos aren't the best. Well, OK, oh well. I asked the price, knowing it'd be a short session and I'd probably pay the hourly rate. He told me that he'd do it for $100 but it'd probably be better to go to Bones, who was the only one in the shop tattooing anyone, would do it for $50. Then, he had to add in the comment, "because I don't really do script because people aren't books." OK, well I have 9 tattoos AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ARE SCRIPT, but thanks for your irrelevant opinion that I never asked for. Anyways, I'm done talking with this guy at this point, and I turn to Bones, he decides on an even $60. Cool, I said I'd be in tomorrow. Angela tries to get me to pay the $60 up front, I told her I'd pay half at most, nowhere in the world, of all the shops have I been to, have I ever needed to pay more than the 10% or the $20 deposit, or whatever. Paying for the whole tattoo up front? Then give this guy the opportunity to just dip out and I lose $60? Not gonna happen, honey. But I'd pay half, she then says they only take cash, and it becomes a back and forth because I had left my debit card at home, along with my wallet, and only had a credit card and my Military ID (I was on crutches and carrying around a wallet is a lot). I couldn't "just pull money out the ATM" with a credit card... She tells me she'd pay me the $2 fee if I just pulled the money out. I look at her, likely very annoyed, that I'm not trippin about $2, I'm telling you I literally CANNOT pull the money out of the ATM, and I wasn't driving all the way to my house, then to Navy Federal to pull $30 to drive all the way back across town to drop it off. We agreed that I'd just come at noon the next day when they opened. I was there on time, and I come in and I'm pretty friendly with them all. Chapman immediately when he sees me, tells me that #1 I'm not going to like it in a couple of days, #2 I'm going to regret it, and #3 It's not a smart idea... After the third one, I reply "Well, what do you want me to do? Walk out of here with my money because that's what I can do. You're not even tattooing it, you're not the one being tattooed, thanks." And I was done. I cannot believe this business allows this man to work here, because just after that I was done, I would not do business at this shop ever again. But it gets worse, we are halfway through, finished with one hand and Bones takes a break. When he comes back, Chapman and Tomas follow and Chapman starts shaking his head. He tells me literally MID TATTOO, you're not going to like it in a couple days, then shows me what looks like a basement tattoo on his knuckles, that I can still clearly read, but yes has faded a little bit, that he said "Three days later fell off." OK, thanks? That's exactly what I want to hear while I'm spending money at your establishment. That's like a waiter telling me, midmeal, "Hey, you may get sick later, I don't think it was a good idea to order the fish." How is this even allowed? I tell him, "Well, it's exactly what I wanted, so I like it and it's on MY hand, so it really doesn't matter if you like it, it doesn't matter if anyone else likes it, it matter if I like it." Just to add a cherry on top, Bones starts on the new hand, and I just remind him to go back to one letter and make it a little thicker. Chapman, who is still hovering for whatever reason, says, "I thought it was exactly what you wanted?" Yeah, this man has HORRIBLE customer service skills and I don't even want to enter the shop if he's in there. What's crazy is that of the both times I have been inside that shop, Bones has been the only one working the entire time. If he's losing customers because the other artist cannot keep his mouth shut, that's ridiculous. I will be meeting up with Bones again to retouch the tattoo FOR FREE to make sure everything is right and stuck.... But on a day when Chapman is not there, or at another shop, because this establishment has lost me completely. read more

I met with Johnny a few weeks ago for my first tattoo. Johnny was very professional, quick at sketching what I wanted and detailed about his set up and needle work. He did a great job, really cool guy, patient and laid back. I even asked him for a second tattoo and he hooked that up right away. My mother came with me and he managed to sketch her eye in one of my tattoos (really cool). Thanks Johnny!! read more

Honestly, this an alright place to go to. The conversation while I was waiting to get my belly button pierced, was worth the stay and honestly that was what took up most of my time there. Getting pierced by Chris, he's so amazing and down to earth. Really sweet man, and funny too! However to say, he did take up a bit too much skin when he pierced my belly button, and I had to come back- then he gave me a captive bead ring to help the healing process. I ended up having to get a longer belly button ring, and had to stick to just that one. After a while, it got annoying that I just ended up taking it out and got it repierced by someone else. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! They blew me off. ...I expressed wanting to get my tattoo done as soon as possible. They said they would draw it up and get back to me. I tried to set up an appointment that day for whenever I could get it done and mind you the place was dead inside no one was even there. Still haven't heard back from them. I came to this tattoo studio to get my venom tongue & VCH piercings done.. I had called in advance to speak to the piercer, Angela & get the pricing. She sounded really nice and knowledgeable compared to others I had called previously about the piercings which initially drew me in. When I came in I was greeted by her and other tattooers who were all kind, she had me fill out my paperwork, pay, and we went straight to the back. Once getting back there I met her apprentice named Angela as well that was going to sit in on my piercing to learn. Angela took her time making sure everything would be able to go as planned, and told me everything that was getting ready to happen while making sure her apprentice Angela had a clear understanding.. I learned a bit too from her teaching lol. Both piercings were quick and easy and almost painless! Turning out just how I wanted it to look. These ladies made me feel comfortable as possible and Angela got the job done with ease. After she was done she told me how to properly clean them & both are healing great I will be back for more piercings very soon :) read more
