I went in to get a watercolor gojo tattoo on my thigh and it looks slightly different from what I originally wanted and the watercolor colors that the artist chose are MUCH darker than what was shown on the photo to the point people think that my thigh is bruised. but the MAIN concern is that it's been over a month and my thigh is BADLY scarred in multiple areas..Paid $300 plus a $100 tip to not only get a tattoo that makes my leg look bruised but also got deep tissue scarring out of it that even other tattooists got concerned about read more

This is a cool spot with even cooler artists. I've come in once for a Friday 13th tat, be sure to wait because they get busy, but it's such a fun experience. I have also had 2 sessions for 2 big pieces. Not only have I had some work done here but so has my daughter. Be prepared when you want something done, these are artists so most of them have appointments be sure to schedule a session ahead of time. My artist is Big Mike, such a cool dude. He always has good music on during the session and he is super focused on his art. Not to mention he is diligent and fast, plus it helps that he isn't super heavy handed leaving you in agonizing pain. I have had some bad experiences in the pasty and this guy will impress you! I didn't get their names, however the lady that does the ear piercing did a great job fast and painless and put in good stout earrings with a very long shank which made healing so much better. Later I found the earings too hard for me to un do, did I mention they were very polite and treated this 80yr old lady like she was important:) the fellow working the desk on sat. 2/2/19, quickly put on new sugi gloves and removed and put the pair I brought in back in. Told us the wait was about 2 hours paid for our tattoos and were told to wait for a phone call. The hours for the event was 12-12 we waited at the shop for 3 hours it was already 11 at night so we left figured no way are they gonna get to us by 12 so I'm hoping we could go the next day to get our tattoos we paid for we went home and called it a night. Got a call at 1 in the morning and asked if I was ready for my tattoo. Told them no the event said it was over and you were closed. Asked if I could come in tomorrow and get the tattoos I paid for and they told me no you can't. Makes no sense why would you say the wait time is a few hours when it was 6 hours later. Why be slimy and not be cool with me coming in the next day to get my tattoo I paid for and be nasty about it?? Do better next time and plan for who you can take not how much money you can grab. read more

Went in for a tattoo, wasn't greeted at all. There was no one in the lobby and when we asked if there was any artists available they said depends on tattoo. When I showed them what I wanted the guy replied with, "not my jazz" first wtf does that mean, second it was a personal tattoo that I drew for my brother who was killed in an accident. So it really rubbed me the wrong way. Should be a little more considerate when someone brings in their own drawing, you never know what it means to them. read more

My daughter wanted her septum pierced, and based on reviews I took her here. She had her septum checked out, and due to her not having the "sweet spot" necessary for a septum piercing, she was told, "You're asking me to cause you future pain, and I simply can't do that." My husband and I spontaneously decided to get Friday the 13th tattoos today! After looking into a few other shops we ended up at kingpin tattoo. The girl at the front desk was really cool and nice. She was answering phones, helping clean rooms and helping walk-in and doing a great job at it! they had four artists working on tattoos which was cool because their lobby was packed! They also had a really good selection of art work to pick from ranging in size. We did wait a really long time but we expected that so we had left to get food and even went home to check on the dogs for a bit. I ended up with William who was really nice and made me feel very comfortable. He did my tattoo in about 30 minutes which was cool for me because I'm a wimp! And my husband ended up with Dean who was super funny and did an amazing job. He went above and beyond a $20 tattoo for my husband which wasn't expected! I went to Kingpin because my friend had her ear (cartilage) piercing done there. So I figured they must be good for my friend to like them. I walked in and was instantly greeted by a guy named Matt. He was in such a good mood that it put my nerves at ease. We walked into a room and I told him I wanted to get my industrial done and he was all for it! The whole time he was doing my piercing he was talking me to me and keeping me distracted so I was focusing on the needle. I do know for a fact that some piercers don't talk and are rude but Matt was very funny and kind. I am very happy with my piercing! read more

Well I can rate one Artist pretty well MANDA MAY is pretty AWESOME. Everyone in the shop is pretty cool and friendly. Looks like everyone has return customers. I got my first (only one so far) tattoo from Manda May and it turned out GREAT! I went 3 times in all and literally watched Manda build me a work of art on my shoulder. From her books of artwork and of her tattoos I think she can pretty much do any style. So hit her up. The shop only takes cash though... I guess that is a good thing because if the took credit cards Id probably have a few tattoos and be broke. Called to make an appointment and the male that answered the phone spoke to me as if I were uneducated and was asking a dumb question. He was also very sarcastic. Not only did he speak to me in this manner, he was slow to respond to my questions, not sure if he was trying to be sarcastic or just slow minded. Poor customer service. Advertises Tattoo & Piercing, but not interested in doing any piercings. We called ahead to see if we needed an appointment because, we are 20 minutes from the location, and were told no, but as soon as we got there he was wrapped up for the rest of the night on a tattoo. We talked to the very nice guy at the counter, and made an appointment for the next day. When went there the next day for our appointment, again the guy that does tongue piercings is not available because, he is giving a tattoo and won't be available for a couple hours.....why offer appointments if they don't honor them!! Very unprofessional! We will take our business someowhere else. I do not recommend them for piercings and if you make an appointment, it could be canceled without even a phone call to let you know. They defintely couls work on customer relations. The only reason I gave a full one star is because the guy at the counter with glasses was very courteous. read more
