This place just lost a lot of money!! My friends and I went…read moreto have a fun day getting tattoos representing our friends group. Each of us had designed our own, but similar creations. He told 1 friend he would not do hers because he "didnt like the tattoo" or how she had to created it and that we should all get the same one. Mine, he didn't like because I had used all of my friends hand writing to create MY TATTOO, stating "it looks like I don't know how to write" and refused so do what I wanted. "It's my shop and my reputation on the line" "Well it's my tattoo! It's what i want!" "Well I can change it to look better!" "No, it's what i want, it's part of the authentic nature of MY DESIGN! Needless to say WE LEFT!! So did he think we wouldn't let people know how rude he was!! We have all written reviews now voicing and reporting our complaints. A tattoo is supposed to be what YOU WANT. NO ONE HAS EVER ASKED ME WHERE I GOT ANY OF MY 9 tattoos. And of all of my 9 tattoos I have never been told I won't do that "because I don't like it!" You screwed yourself and your shop on this one Justin!! DON'T GO TO BLACK MOON TATTOO UNLESS YOU WANT RUDE SERVICE AND A TATTOO YOU REALLY DON'T WANT!!!

We made an appointment and paid a $50 deposit for our time to be reserved. When we arrived and…read moreshowed Justin what tattoos we wanted, he decided he didn't like one of our friends tattoos because it's his "reputation" and wanted her to change the design so he was happy with it. The whole point of tattoos is individuality, not conformity. A real tattoo artist doesn't have to agree with your choice, they are agreeing to give you the tattoo YOU want. He also wanted the rest of us to all get the same tattoo and that's not at all what we wanted to do. We left and went to Red Lotus. What a terrible experience.

Great location for your ink needs. I just got my 2nd piece from one of their visiting artists and I…read morelove the location. I'm guessing that maybe this used to be some sort of clinic. There are a whole bunch of private rooms so that's pretty cool. They weren't huge rooms, but I like the privacy offered. The equipment used is all new looking and the artists practice safe hygiene while working on your art. Looking forward to when my artist moves down and hopefully becomes a regular at this location. It's a nice place and if you are feeling pained after, there's a Dairy Queen across the street for when you're all done! :) Amy will make sure to send you appointment reminders and will even check in on you a day or two after to make sure everything with your new tattoo is going okay. Now that's service!

Having previously worked with a client who had one of Amy's gorgeous pieces, I also knew exactly who I wanted to create this masterpiece for me. Initially, we were planning for an under the bust piece to help me feel more comfortable about surgery scars from my reduction, but as I've grown more comfortable with those, Amy had no issue with transitioning to the piece I've actually wanted for years. Not only was she okay with it, she was excited for it! Precisely Veiled is a shop that invests a lot of time, energy, and compassion into their guests. The only time to actually schedule an appointment is on the first Wednesday of every month during their Consultation Day. They do it this way so that they can dedicate every other day to creating beautiful art for people. If you're unable to physically make it in, you can always call and discuss your idea with one of the artists to book your initial session that way. If you are able to make it in, they always have a variety of food catered in. When I initially scheduled my appointment, I did so over the phone with Amy and we'd communicated via text. This worked well, but I found that I preferred actually being able to chat in person which I did when we transitioned the tattoo. I came with photos of the painting I loved as well as several under the water scenes. Amy had me create a Pinterest board to put anything and everything that inspired me for this tattoo and share it with her. Very easy to do! Unfortunately due to my work schedule constantly shifting (it's less turbulent now!), we did have to reschedule once or twice, but Amy was incredibly understanding and managed to squeeze me in when someone else cancelled...lucky me! Communication was very clear and she confirmed, reconfirmed, and reminded me of the appointment several times over so I had no possibility of mixing up the day or time or forgetting altogether (not that I ever could!) On the day of the appointment, I arrived about 10 minutes early and signed the waiver. We prepped the space and she started on the middle section of the tattoo (which will run alone my right side from ribs to thigh.) When I wasn't entirely in love with the initial placement of the seashell, Amy was more than happy to reposition it and the location is absolutely perfect! Starting at the hip was a great place to start because now we can switch between location in my other appointments. It's only been a few days, but I already love what this section of the tattoo looks like and I can't wait to see the finished result (although it will definitely take a while because it is so big!) As far as the pain, it wasn't unbearable and currently feels a bit like a sunburn where your skin is slightly sore and stinging.. absolutely manageable pain! I was also sent home with ArmorGel and print out aftercare instructions. I won't share any photos just yet of the tattoo or the full design we're going with, but I can't recommend this location enough or Amy as an artist! It is very clean, the artists are fiercely passionate not only about their craft but also about their clients, and the work they do is evidence enough of their dedication! Thank you!

This is a cool spot with even cooler artists…read more I've come in once for a Friday 13th tat, be sure to wait because they get busy, but it's such a fun experience. I have also had 2 sessions for 2 big pieces. Not only have I had some work done here but so has my daughter. Be prepared when you want something done, these are artists so most of them have appointments be sure to schedule a session ahead of time. My artist is Big Mike, such a cool dude. He always has good music on during the session and he is super focused on his art. Not to mention he is diligent and fast, plus it helps that he isn't super heavy handed leaving you in agonizing pain. I have had some bad experiences in the pasty and this guy will impress you! Again SCHEDULE ahead of time! You know someone is good if they are always busy. They are very clean and professional and not to mention fun to be around.
