Allard's also offers classes and there's usually student art on display to show off what students are learning! We didn't know where to start. So, we asked for help. The young worker was so nice and very helpful. We gave her the list and in no time we had everything we needed. We would've been there just looking and looking for the things all lost. But thankfully we were in and out. The prices are reasonable, they were some items on special and we had some savings. The cashier also was very nice. She offered the rewords program and we signed up. So we can get savings. They have a big variety of art supplies. Being from San Diego, we definitely DO NOT have a stationery store like this. I walked all around to make sure I saw everything before I started to decide what to get. Cards, art supplies, water colors, pens, midori, black wing, etc! I wanted it all. But at the end, decision paralysis set in and I only got a few things that I've never seen before...pink lead! Yes, that's right!! PINK LEAD. Also got some lavender and red leads. Of course I got the mechanical pencil and eraser as well. This is a must! Turlock was about 25 minutes drive from where I was staying. Will absolutely come back when I'm close.

With a studio space right on Fulton, it can be easy to miss when walking by. However, once inside, it's a very roomy space! The decor is super cute, there's tons of plants, and the artwork for sale is all handmade (I didn't get pictures of all of it). I even got a sticker for stopping by. Christine also has yoga classes on certain days with payment options that best suit your budget (and I think there's a monthly option as well). There are a few chairs and a couch for lounging, and the staff member that I talked to was super sweet! Definitely a great hangout area or even just for a quick stop by to check everything out!
