Delicious food and amazing staff! When I got my food, I got excited about there being watermelon slices and she brought me three extra slices! It was pretty cute

Delicious home cooked breakfast food. Great presentation. Exceptional service. Mrs Kate came out and greeted us with a warm smile and pat on the back, very refreshing! :) 10/10

Huckleberry Cobler edith homemade ice cream!

Delicious! I had the special, a vegetarian wrap so gill of flavor, and perfectly cooked fries! Nice chat with cook/owner. Gray place to try! Never so glad to edit my first post; tried the huckleberry cobbler with homemade ice cream! So good!!!

What a little gem! Cute diner with great food. Our sever, Sarah, was fantastic. I wish I remembered the gentleman's name, Rodney(?), made sure our drinks were always topped off. If your table is near the kitchen don't be surprise if Kate pops her head out of the window to see how you're doing. Hubby had the mushroom burger, I had a cheeseburger. Sooo good! The tots were nice & crispy. Fortunately the couple we bumped into as they were leaving advised us to order the huckleberry cobbler "since they're almost out". We ordered it with our meal and got the last serving. It's served warm with homemade vanilla ice cream. Great little spot. You won't be disappointed.

Great place for breakfast or lunch at a small town place. Right off HWY 95 with parking in the back. Came during brunch so I had breakfast and husband and kids had lunch. French toast was really good and bacon was perfect. Coffee cup was kept full. My husband had a Philadelphia cheese wrap and fries. Kids had grilled cheese, burger and BLT. They said it was great. Kate is the owner. Super friendly with some amazing stories to share. Worth the stop in.

The food here is incredible. Garden fresh! We loved the space and really loved the food. We had the French dip and the grilled cheese. Followed by the triple chocolate cream pie with homemade ice cream. Wow! It's not often you get homemade ice cream. It was all wonderful and we look forward to stopping back in if we ever come through this way again.

What a great little find in Riggings. Everything is homemade and the lady (owner) in the kitchen definitely knows what she's doing.

Outstanding food, fun folks running the place. Just traveling on the road and almost passed it, glad we didn't.

Great small town breakfast. Kate owns the restaurant and shows true hospitality, tells you the way it is, and it is refreshing.

Honestly, the only good things I can say are that the location is great (right in the heart of…read moretown, with water views if you get a window seat) and the reservation process was simple online. We made a reservation for 8pm on a Saturday, and honestly, they weren't packed (they still had plenty of tables open). When we arrived there was no one at the host stand, and when they came they didn't check us in right away. Once we confirmed the reservation it took about 10 minutes for us to be seated, and there was a couple that came after us that had a reservation at the same time and were seated before us (okay, no big deal). We did get a window seat, which was nice. But this is supposed to be an upper scale restaurant in the area, and the silverware we were given was dirty, so not a great start. The server came to take our order, we ordered mocktails and a huckleberry lemon drop as well as the bread basket and the cured meat and cheese plate- compared to the Cutwater, honestly, no comparison. The teens didn't even drink the mocktail (which the server did take off the bill, and that was nice) and the lemon drop was okay. The bread basket and meat plate were fine, but we wouldn't order them again. My son ordered the 12oz ribeye (which was nearly 60.00) and I would say at least 50% of it was fat, and his was overcooked. I ordered the flat iron, and mine was undercooked, so he ended up eating mine. The herb roasted potatoes needed seasoning and felt like something they simply tossed on the plate. My daughter's Caesar salad was as expected to a side salad. Our server never came to check on us after the food was brought out, and we waited for her to return after we were done with the food for nearly 20 minutes. Overall we were disappointed and not truly certain why this place is recommended above other similar places in town. Very expensive, seems like it is trying to be upscale or more "fine-dining" but it missed the mark for us.
