Super cozy little coffee shop/breakfast spot! Prices are better than most in this area, order at the counter and they bring your food, self bus table. I'm happy to do all those things! Fogglifter has great coffee and breakfast items. I've had the eggs Benedict a couple of times. The first time the eggs were over poached but they made up for it the next time with perfectly poached eggs with a creamy yolk. The hollandaise sauce was seasoned well and just coated the eggs and toppings. Their cappuccinos are made well and not at all watery like so many I've had at other places. Hubby had the McCall scramble with sausage and said it was tasty. Their croissant breakfast sandwich is also delicious and just the right size. You order at the counter and bus your own table if you're dining inside or on the patio. They deliver your order to your table if you're dining in. It can get quite busy inside, especially if people like up inside of the restaurant. I've seen the staff ask people to line up outside to respect the diners who are sitting at the inside tables. I think they should have a sign instructing people to line up outside. It would be so much better for all and help to Improve the ambiance. We recently ate at the Fogglifter Cafe. I had the Bob's Eggs Benedict. The "hollandaise" sauce tasted like mayonnaise with a little Dijon mustard in it. It was terrible and gave me a horrible stomach ache. The poached eggs were not completely cooked. The whites were still runny. We were terribly disappointed. Our breakfast was WAY overpriced and we were given substandard food. We DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

The service was great! I had a really good experience here, I wasn't able to have any food sadly because my husband and I were in a rush but, I am definitely going back. Let me say I am quite a critic when it comes to iced tea and it was extremely good! My husband said his coffee was the best he's had in the US thus far overall we were very impressed. This was recommended and it did not disappoint. The coffee drinks were hot and well made. I had an americano and was able to customize it to my taste. The breakfast burrito was large and they had a nice variety of salsa and hot sauces to go with it. We arrived right at opening and by the time we left there was a line at the register. Definitely a popular local spot and I can see why. I'll most likely be back tomorrow for more caffeine and breakfast goodness! read more

Fun little corner cafe in downtown. We came on a super busy day but luckily the line went fast, while also finding a table big enough for our group. Food came out quick, and was so refreshing. I had the French toast with fruit and bacon/eggs. I contemplated purchasing another plate because it was so good -- I had to hold myself back! Expect a crowd since there aren't a ton of coffee shops in town! A few things rolling in my head that I wish I knew before entering: 1. Yes, you counter order and get a number for your table (if you can find a table). 2. You get your own silverware at a station near the counter. 3. Yes, you bus your own table and put your dishes in the same spot as the silverware location. 4. Yes they have wi-fi (not password protected) but it barely works, if it works at all. It seems to be inconsistent. I was a bit taken back with my $13.00 breakfast burrito showed to my table (pictured). I thought the price for something so simple was on the high side. While it is definitely on the high end for what you get, I was pleasantly surprised. I did the classic judging a book by its cover scenario. Don't judge this book until you read it (or eat it!!). I am not sure I will be back often (because prices and because it gets so busy) but I will make this place my extra special treat from-time-to-time. It is so busy I don't feel like this is a place someone can stay and relax. People watch you eat until you are done (so they can swoop in for your table). Very good food, the holiday sauce was excellent. We really enjoyed our breakfast the service and the latte.

On a rainy Thursday afternoon, we found ourselves with a an hour or so to kill before the shops opened. With empty stomachs we stumbled into Fogglifter and were immediately greeted with smiling faces and the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Absolutely delicious coffee and drinks, fluffy eggs, tasty pastries, and more! We had the breakfast burrito and holy heck, YUM! A tasty treat from start to finish. They heated up the sweet pastries too! And kids portions are perfectly sized. Seating is first come and in sunny days they have a lovely outdoor patio. This spot is a "do not miss" if you find yourself in McCall! I already miss this place and would be a regular if I lived here! read more

Fantastic menu, and food is fresh. The French Roast coffee was excellent. Seating was tight.

The coffee is good but avoid breakfast. Both the huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito were awful. They use canned refried beans and an overwhelming amount of cheese. Fogglifter Cafe is probably the most popular cafe in McCall, and for good reason too. It's not rare to see a long like extending out towards the main road on a weekend morning. I wouldn't recommend it if you're in a hurry - service is understandably slow and you're going to wait a while for that breakfast sandwich but it's worth it. Being a regular in McCall I've had many years to try nearly every item on Fogglifter's menu. I'd like to first highlight the excellent house brew coffee. I know, it's a simple cup of coffee, what's so special about it? Well, just about everything. I've never had a cup I didn't enjoy. Nothing beats a warm French roast on a cold winter morning in the mountains. Other drinks I'd recommend are their chai tea lattes, mochas and steamers! If I highlight every menu item I'd be here all night and you'd be there all day reading this so to spare everyone I'll make one recommendation - the breakfast sandwich ($6.00). Think McDonald's egg McMuffins luxury style. Fogglifter uses whole wheat English muffins, fresh sausage patties and high-grade cheese to create these masterpieces. Also, I'd love to know how the heck they make their eggs! If you're not a breakfast sammy fan other awesome breakfast items include Bob's Benedict (drizzled with homemade hollandaise sauce), Foggy burrito, and the Huevos Rancheros! Unfortunately their menu item is very limited right now, but they have bomb lunch sandwiches as well. Yeah you'll probably be waiting here a while but it's worth it! Just don't come here too hungry - come here with patient enough to wait and you'll be rewarded with some of the best breakfast McCall has to offer! read more

My friend and I went into Foglifter for breakfast during a stay in McCall. It was busy and cozy on a chilly morning. We ordered our food and found a table to sit at, there's a variety of places to sit, including a sofa with a table in front. The wood floors and tables add a rustic atmosphere along with flowers in jars. Our food was brought over and was hot and delicious with good-sized portions. Sadly, it's a college-town version of Starbucks. I'll start with service, because that was the best: always excellent and very fast and friendly. The ambiance is Starbucks. Nothing special. Larger inside but definitely Starbucks. Finally, the food: the cinnamon rolls were fairly good, and about the only thing that I would recommend. Unfortunately, I also had one of their breakfast burritos. Can't recommend. As a matter of fact, I would absolutely discourage anyone from the breakfast burrito. It's 100% cumin with very little anything else. Well, actually mine had copious quantities of cumin. If you've read any of my other screeds and Mexican food manifestos on Yelp, you'll know that I'm completely opposed to the use of cumin in any Mexican food. If this is the predominant flavor in your Mexican food, it's not authentic Mexican food. Take it from a "real" Mexican: cumin should never, ever be the predominant flavor of ANY Mexican food. read more

WATCH OUT FOR THe MEGAN!!! I ordered $25 worth of food and a drink for myself- The cold brew was horrible !! I tried adding cream, but no go. I simply asked MEGAN if she could recommend adding a bit more flavor. She had the worst attitude and was flat out rude. I have 31 employees at our business and would never have someone working with customers with an attitude like heres!!! All our guys come here and typically have a great experience. This place can be pretty busy on the weekends. Ordered several breakfast items. Most were pretty good. They go really heavy on the "everything but the bagel" salt on the avocado toast so it's very salty unless you add other stuff in top or scrape off some of the seasoning. They don't have enough staff members to serve table side which is fine, but keep items stocked!! Twenty minutes after ordering three kids' breakfasts, they informed us that they were out of waffles.
