It tasted WAY better than the Chinese food you get at the usual chain places. I highly recommend you visit this place if you like tasty food, especially along the lines of pasta or Chinese food. Giant, incredibly light and fluffy, brushed with a sweetened butter on top. One bite of my husband's breakfast made me regret my entire order. Even better than my own Grandma's baking powder biscuits, and that woman certainly knew how to cook. Now I'm thinking of my next trip back, and wondering how long this new cook has been there making incredible biscuits. Oh, also? Breakfast for two with coffee cost just over $20.

We tried to express our concern for paying for food that was questionable and not wanting to get sick. We were told that we were already given our money back (nope, that was our family that ordered before us) and continued to argue with us that we ordered drinks (we had not). The cashier only gave us back $14 of our $38 order and when we reminded again the amount for our entire order (no drinks) the cashier threw the cash at my husband. Unbelievable. Take ownership and accountability for your lack of food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and customer service. I would not ever recommend this place for food safety, refund dishonesty, and how they treat their paying customers. Walked across the street to Stax sandwich shop and it was night and day difference!

Open from Wednesday 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Thursday and Saturday 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Apparently you can order out during those times but the protocol seems unknown. Their on-line site could be clearer. We arrived right after opening, for a late lunch pizza. They were set up for pizza that day with a special four item menu. The space was about 1/10 full or less. The person at the ordering desk was not unfriendly but certainly not welcoming. No one was. Disinterested may be the best term. We ordered one pizza for two people. And waited a full hour. The server never checked on us. It was like we and everyone else were Invisible. I suppose the pizza was good, but after that wait and feeling starved by them and really irritated, it wasn't enjoyable. When the experience is that negative, it doesn't matter how good the food is. The proprietors should take note of that fact. No apologies from the staff for having such an extraordinarily long time for an order. Certainly, the strong impression was one's presence wasn't important at all. We had thought about going to their every-so- often pre fixe dinner. But now won't go back. One would have to pack pajamas with the anticipation of having to spend the night before you got your food. PS: Laughably, there is a note on the utensil bin that you should only stay 90 minutes when the restaurant is full. Again, an example of the disinterest of the proprietors. And can you only stay 90 minutes if your food still hasn't been delivered yet?

Then I waited another 20 mins for a completely empty store to make a cheese bread and a pizza. If I call in they always say 20 mins and I always wind up waiting another 15 when I get there. Customer service is meh. Teenagers who always seem confused or like they are inconvenienced that you are there. BUT the owner is super nice and it's the only take n bake available.
