I had a wonderful first experience at this cat café! My friend and I decided to walk in while we were walking around downtown Leesburg. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who explained how the facility works. It's $25 per person for an hour session a lounge visit, which includes a warm freshly baked cookie and a self-serve beverage. The cafe is on the first floor when you first walk in to check-in and the lounge is upstairs where the cats are housed. We decided to get our cookie and drinks on our way out so we headed upstairs where we were greeted at the door of the lounge to the sweetest, friendliest cats! The space was well-maintained, clean, cozy and decorated cute! It did not smell and we could tell the staff takes really good care of the cats and their living area to ensure they feel clean, safe, and comfortable. All of their cats at the café are available for adoption through their rescue partner Last Chance Animal Rescue. Such a great way to meet and interact with the kitties (and fall in love with all of them!) before deciding if you mesh with one and are interested in adopting. They also have a book of information on adoption details and a bulletin board that features the cats in a humorous way so you can get to know them! Overall my experience was fun and a relaxing way to spend the afternoon hanging out with cute cats! Happy to support this small woman-owned business as well :)

Leesburg's first cat cafe is an absolute delight! Highly recommend making a reservation online (cattycornercafe.com). One hour reservations are $24 per person which includes a warm cookie and self-served drink at the beverage station by the entryway. The cafe and check-in area is on the first floor; upstairs is where you will find the purr-ecious cat haven. Three green flags I look forward to on my visits: #1: While the well-maintained space is aesthetically pleasing, their primary focus is most importantly on the cats and their well-being. A majority of the cats were sweet, trusting, and comfortable in their cozy environment. #2: They also have a humorous bulletin board featuring the nice and naughty cats of the week as well as a binder full of helpful information on the current cats and adoption details, located on the coffee table upstairs. #3: The friendly team works hard and cares deeply about their four-legged residents. They are knowledgeable, happy to answer any questions about the cats. As an added bonus, a myriad of fun cat-themed trinkets by the cafe area make lasting gifts and fun souvenirs. Happy to support this small business!

Very disappointed. I drove 45 minutes to this cat cafe after calling the day before to confirm their hours. I was told they were open until 6 PM, and even made an appointment--which they confirmed. When I showed up, they were closed by 4 PM with no warning or notice. I wasn't contacted about the early closure, and it completely wasted my time and gas. This kind of lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. I was really looking forward to this visit and left feeling super frustrated.

Went here on a random Sunday and it was lovely. They give you cookies when you book, and those were delicious. Also there was cute hello kitty merch you could purchase! The cat area was very clean and cute and had lots of toys so you could play with the cats. Plenty of beds for the cats, plenty of cat trees and climbing spots. The cats seemed happy. I bet it's even more popular and full of kittens in the spring and summer! Also, I loved the Pusheen clock so much that I may order one for my home lol

@cattycornercafe Cats + tea & cookies? Say less. Not only is this establishment a Cat Café & lounge, but also a rescue with 98% of them being adoptable. They have had 117 adoptions and counting so far! Overall, a fun and relaxing thing to do whilst supporting a cat rescue. I'll definitely be back! Starts at $24/person includes a beverage & a freshly baked cookie for 30 min session in the cat lounge upstairs with extended times for additional fees available. For those like me, who are allergic to cats but absolutely love them, this is the perfect place to get my kitty fix. (Pro tip: Allergy pill night before, nasal spray before/after, non-drowsy pill morning of & change clothes after visiting) - insta @ SpicyAivy

The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming...and so are the cats!!! I was greeted with a warm cookie and some lemonade. Such a cute place with so many sweet kitties and cute merch too. They're so accommodating and kind here, and the cats are rescued from kill shelters, which is wonderful. If you're looking to rescue, this is a great place to start.

    2 transactions.. 40 mins apart

The cats were awesome and so cute! When we walked in we were told we couldn't pay for an hour because they were closing in 45 mins, which was fine! As we were leaving we were told we had to pay extra because we were there for over an hour, and that they work on an honor system so we were supposed to clock ourselves which we were not informed. We proceed to pay, then wait for our cookie and drink. Get back to the car and see the transaction of payment was 40 mins ago... not sure lying is worth the extra cash. ‍‍

What an amazing cat cafe. I have been to many, and this is by far the bestn Tons of the cats were super friendly. They provide warm cookies with your entry fee and drinks as well. Such a great and fun activity for all ages and groups! The perfect addition to downtown Leesburg :)

A cat lover's paradise. This place is relaxing and fun with an amazing energy. Beautifully decorated and designed for endless cat fun in creative and unexpected ways. So therapeutic to watch and interact with the cats. Knowing that all the cats have been rescued and are up for adoption is all the more heartwarming. A great way to support a small, woman-owned business, too.

Fun interactive experience--more for the cats than the coffee. The upstairs kitty nook is super cuddly.

Came on a Friday afternoon and felt so relaxed after. You don't need a reservation. Just walk in. Parking is tough - park across the street near the courthouse parking.

I am 100% sure they kidnapped my cat from my community and hostage her for donation and selling as a business rather than a non profit organization. Pure intention matters! I have donated to multiple organizations monthly base, raising fund for good purpose, money is not a problem for me. However, I don't want to reward bad behaviors. The missing time for my cat and the one they posted online matches and the very detailed stripes pattern matches. It's questionable that one employee said she from North Carolina, another one said she from West Virginia. I have my cat since she was born, I can recognize this cat from eye contact. Well, if you know your children, you know them by the spirit, right? I sent them many details to JUST take a look, they refused. It's not built to help ppl or animals at all. I will show how my cat look like and how sick she is now in their foster home. I'm deeply saddened and worried about her. She is territorial as a cat does. She has been a happy cat in her own home, wtf they think this is a rescue. Now I have to either kiss their ass or be assertive to fight against this negativity just to get her rescued from these horrible ppl. F that! If they don't practice as ethical as it should be, this is a big big issue! I put the photos of how my cat looked before and how she looks now in their foster homes(one with name caption) I am seriously furious and frustrated about this. If they couldn't give me an explanation why they made it so difficult to meet the cat. I have to say I will use my popularity and influence to the extreme to make things right!!!

What we experienced was one of the most hypocritical, condescending interactions we've had with any organization. Our application was denied, not based on any current concerns, but because of a previous application we submitted years ago. Their objection? That we don't take our cats to the vet on their preferred schedule. Our cats are healthy, loved, and well cared for, but apparently Fancy Cats has decided their personal standards override everything else, including common sense. Here's the part that's truly galling: when we visited to meet the cat we wanted to adopt, we found him in genuinely distressing condition. He was matted to the skin, dirty, had a visible skin rash caused by the matting, and had feces in his fur. He was kept in a cage and fed low-quality food. This is not a rescue organization stretched thin in an emergency, this is an organization that rejected our application while allowing an animal in their direct care to suffer from basic neglect. Let that sink in. They decided we weren't qualified to adopt a cat. Meanwhile, that cat was sitting in a cage, unbrushed, unwashed, rashy, and soiled, on their watch. If your mission is genuinely the welfare of these animals, start with the ones already under your roof. The self-righteous gatekeeping, the years-old grudges applied against prospective adopters, and the complete absence of self-awareness about conditions in your own facility are disqualifying. Rescues that prioritize their own judgment over animal outcomes are not the heroes they think they are. This cat would have been better off with us. That's the only thing we know for certain after this experience.

For reference, we have two bigger, social dogs who formerly happily boarded in pet hotels, but moved to sitting when our senior dog started chemo. We have used a variety of services, starting with 4/day visits over a long weekend, then supplementing house sitting by older parents (the sitters did the walking and feedings with meds), then overnight stays plus 3/day visits. Our sitters have been dedicated and caring, excellent with our dogs, and respectful of our home and how the boys are cared for. Having a senior dog can be a dog-sitting challenge, and they were excellent with loving on him, as well as entertaining our younger more energetic dog. It's important for anyone using pet sitting to (1) make arrangements well in advance to ensure availability, and (2) meet the sitter in your home first to introduce the pets and to show them around the house and how your pup is fed, medicated, let out, etc and where pet supplies are kept.
