We loved Cava, until the recent changes. They raised the price of the kids meal and cut what you get. You only get a quarter of a pita OR pita chips (was 1/2 pita and chips)! They put the filling on the side and it's less than a 1/4 cup of chicken and veggies. Not enough for even a small child. They no longer have the cinnamon pitas. We would drive 45 min. To eat here but they have out priced themselves. The food wasn't great on this last visit. On the regular menu they drastically cut the amount of chicken you get. Their drinks are weird as well. Haven't dined in at this Cava, but I pickup food often and they're also super fast with my order. I get the chicken and rice bowl and the blueberry lavender lemonade - 10's all around. They were also very quick. For my order, I opted for the Spicy Greens with lamb and avocado. I don't remember exactly what all was in the bowl, but I do remember it being oh-so delicious! So many different textures and flavors that work well together. I devoured every bit of the bowl. Honestly, I still think about that bowl sometimes. This location offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. First time trying this place. The staff member who helped me was super friendly and walked me through the process, even giving me great recommendations. I ordered a "build your own" pita with braised lamb. It was fine, nothing special. That said, $16 is a ridiculous price for what I got. I had looked up a menu online beforehand (from 2019, as I later realized), where pitas were $8. That's double the price now, and I doubt the quality has doubled too. A welcome addition to the area! Conveniently located next to Target in Mitchell Ranch Plaza, this is a great place to go for a healthy customizable bowl. Warning for those with bland palates: the food here has flavor, texture, and savory spices! The 'spicy' chicken option has actual heat and not for the tame of heart! My 7yr old son loved the flavor so much that he wanted to come back for his birthday. I'm a huge fan of the super green base, with some additional rice, because I love my roughage. This mix will make you gassy. I tend to get all of the sides and go half and half on the protein. Of course, don't forget about the drinks. The specialty drinks, teas, lemonade, and Maine Root soda fountain are also star attractions, with the root beer, blueberry soda, lemonade, and cucumber mint lime being my favorites. This isn't a restaurant with waitress service, it's cafeteria style, where you have to stand in line and select your food. Assembly of your bowl can take some time and the line can be slow because there are so many options to deliberate about. I ate here on a Monday around 1 pm. There was no line and a few tables taken. It is clean and open. They had about 10 four top tables inside and maybe five more outside. It is a counter service where you go through the line as you order your salad/bowl/wrap. I had the chicken and rice bowl with splendid greens instead of arugula. The bowl was a nice portion. The toppings were delicious and when mixed together was the perfect bite. The chicken had a nice taste as well. I had the cucumber lime mint drink. It was light and delicious, similar to a limeade but not as sugary. It comes with a warmed small piece of pita. The meal was about $14. The food was fresh and I felt it was a healthy option. The staff was friendly. Many people ordered to go so it never felt crowded. I will eat here again. read more

So me and my friend had been starving all day and planned to go here after practice and as we were ordering everything was cold and we received half the portions i feel we should've gotten and even paid 8 dollars more than we usually do. I'm honestly so mad because we were both able to finish our bowls in 15 bites i'm not even exaggerating it might've been 700 calories. This was terrible service and i don't plan on coming back here unless the we each receive free meals. Don't come here the portions are skimpier than chipotles. This is the second time they messed up on my order. I decided to give them one more try and I shouldn't have. The portions are way too small for what we have to pay. Its more like a snack bowl. They also forgot to add my dressing yet a second time.. Then asking $2.50 for some mediocre pretty much gross 2"x2" packaged brownie worth .25 cents. Do better!! I had the byo bowl with suferfood greens and brown rice, crazy feta with extra eggplant dip, grilled chicken with fiery broccoli, Tomato/cucumbers, pickles and Romain lettuce! Dressing being garlic and skhug. Total rounded $12. Better than chipotle imo! The Inside is a tad bit small but doesn't matter to me as I take all my food to go!
