Thought this place would be the same as Pizza Parlor. Huge mistake. I would have rather had Digiorno. I'm glad other folks enjoy it, but it's definitely not for our family. Everything from the crust to the toppings just tasted cheap had a bad flavor. read more

Cavanaugh Pizza is the best pizza in the world! Has been since the 70's. Cavanaugh is a Fort Smith legend. It IS Fort Smith. If you are a visitor then you must eat this pizza to truly get the Fort Smith experience. read more

Only a great experience or a horrible experience usually prompts a review from me. To Cavanaugh's credit, I have never gotten anything but GREAT pizza here for 20+years, whether it be supreme,meat, dessert pizza, or a sweet salty mix like with their Hawaiian pizza. Note: I'm writing this review before receiving tonight's pizza so I hope I can continue that claim. But...one poor customer service experience can and will keep me away for a while. I dealt with someone named Austin today, who couldn't have been more rude if he had been paid to do so. I started by politely saying I would like to place an order to which he sighed and said "K?" followed by dead silence. Since he seemed less than thrilled to take my order, I asked if he was ready and he hatefully said "Go!"". I gave my order and then confirmed if it was still 2 for the price of one, to which he exasperatingly said "Yeah." I then asked if he had my total and he said "Nope...(silence)...."I guess I can get someone to get you the total. Hang on."(Sigh+phone drop). He mumbled my total and since I couldn't understand, I asked him to repeat at which point, he angrily almost yelled $2-.--" At this point, had I not been in a hurry, I would have withdrawn my order completely and I will avoid them until I know this guy's attitude has been addressed. This is my 2nd less than cordial treatment by Mr. Austin. At the end of the conversation, I asked for his name to which he replied with "Huh-why?" I politely repeated myself and asked "Your name, please." The answer was "Yeah Austin. (Click)". Who knows if he even gave me his true name but there can't be that many young males answering the phone on this date. Disappointed, Cavanaugh. "Austin" isn't representing you well at all. read more

I avoid this place at all costs, there pizza is ok. But the owner is rude, we got our pizza messed up I believe it was 1 or 2 times and he replaced it. I had a hair in my pizza (it looked like a pubic hair, I'm not joking) and he refused to refund because it was a reorder cause they messed up the pizza the first time. He wasn't very nice and the pizza is blah. It is cheap though so I guess thats why they stay in business. read more

Pizza is hit and miss at Cavanaugh. Half of the time is is quite under cooked even when I request that they cook the pie well done. Service is normally slower than expected too. read more

One of the best pizza's in town for sure. And the best thin crust for sure. It has a good kick and spice to it that really sets it apart. Inside is a little run down but it retains that down home pizzeria feel to it. Carryout orders can take over an hour on Friday or Saturday nights, so prepare accordingly for that. read more

I am more and more impressed with this place every time we visit. We dropped in tonight during a mad rush because of the buffet. Our waitress (Angie) was incredibly busy. I feel like I'm building up a list of excuses as to why we received bad service, but that's just it... We didn't. This may have been the best service we've ever received. The pizza was just as good (but probably better) as any pizza in town. I don't ever try other pizza to know but when it's this good why bother? Angie, my goodness this lady was doing one amazing job. I couldn't tell you how many tables she was waiting but it looked as though it was the entire front side of the building and every table had people at it. And she did remarkable. Not as a broad "she did good considering she had that many" ... She would have been a remarkable waitress had we have been her only table and still got that service. Friendly. Helpful. Attentive. I have always received good service here but never service so good that I had to download an app to tell everyone else how good it was.
