Our favorite place to stay when we're traveling north to Ohio. We've gotten to know quite a few…read morepeople, regulars and employees, during our visit. Very new and modern! If I were going to give a down check, it would be the very pricey restaurant that is on the property. Very good, but very pricey. We usually opt to get a delivered pizza! Mary, the bartender for the managers reception and Damian, treat us very personably almost like family. We don't mind spending a couple extra dollars there due to that. And another thing, they have an automatic toaster at the breakfast area that toasts perfectly the first time and every time! I wish all the Embassy Suites would buy that particular electronic toaster! Keep up the great work!

Pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Embassy Suites in Bowling Green! Upon entering the lobby,…read morewe were impressed with the welcoming staff, cleanliness, and the fun decor features (green wall behind the front desk, water feature, fire place by sitting lounge & outdoor fountain/ fire pit). Throughout the hotel hallways, you'll find many artfully designed pictures of different corvettes, as this location isn't far from the Corvette Museum. Our room was spacious and clean with a view of the outdoor fountain. The room was insulated well enough to not hear our neighbors or people walking down the hall. Happy hour included a choice of beverage as well as different snacks - and if you have a non alcoholic preference (i.e. for kids) during happy hour, there is no charge for those. The pool was a welcome treat after a long, hot Kentucky day, clean and perfect for the entire family, with an outdoor seating area as well. The gym had various machines but we didn't get a chance to use them during our stay. Breakfast is better than your average continental breakfast, with omelets, eggs, pancakes and waffles made to order. Buffet options also available and coffee made with a push of a button. Overall, the experience here was great and I'd happily return here next time I'm in the area.

WORST HOTEL WE'VE EVER STAYED AT. I dont usually leave bad reviews as I like to help small…read morebusinesses but this hotel needs new management. The rooms and property are filthy and feel like a crime scene. Old dilapidated rooms. No hot water in shower at night the whole stay. Only 3 channels on the TV... No one came to clean room, change sheets, towels the whole stay despite repeatedly asking. Toilet paper ran out and they didn't bring more as they said they only worked mornings. They never even came to our room. Barely anyone was staying in the hotel. No clean towels. There were other poroblems with room but you get the idea how bad it was. I was then locked out of room at night as card stopped working and their was no one to provide a new card. A sign was left on counter that they were helping a guest with their room which was false. I walked around property looking for someone for ages, came back and repeatedly hit the bell. Then the Indian owner finally came out of office where he had been asleep.... And then after leaving the hotel he decided to charge our card for nights we weren't even there, not the agreed upon rate, plus a $25 fee for leaving at 11:05am. Check out is 11am. We've disputed it all with bank. There are some great hotels in Glasgow. We chose this because it was cheaper. You get what you pay for. Steer clear of this one. There was no refund so couldnt leave. Horrible experience

The most disgusting room/hotel/owner I have ever encountered!!…read more Unvaccuumed for months, no hot water, bedding looked pee'd on, toilet didn't flush, safe didn't work, coffee maker had white residue all over it, counters unclean, fridge had mold along outside seal, dead bug and yellow oozing inside. We ran as fast as we could! Jay the Owner is mean and as nasty as his hotel! Employees say they can't refund or discount, that should have been a clear sign of the owners competence. Seriously you're better off sleeping in your car or the park down the street. This place is a biohazard and uninhabitable!! This owner has 3 hotels and should not own any of them! The outside areas is just as gross as the inside! Pool infilled and full of cigarette butts and leaves, entire property unclean and full of cigarette butts! JUST RUN!!

We got a king suite with jacuzzi. The bed was WONDERFULLY comfortable. The jacuzzi was such a treat. The jets worked as they should. Our walk-in shower is awesome. Mini fridge/microwave worked flawlessly. The pool was small but just what you needed after a hot day. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience from top to bottom. If we come to cave city again, we'll be staying there! Thanks Lena!

They said its…read morebecause I had a pay now and save reservation but why did they not charge it until a month after I made it and a month before staying? I obviously had adequate funds. And why was I not notified? I was a front desk supervisor at a hotel for nine and a half years and it is TERRIBLE customer service to just cancel someone's reservation without telling them. They could have made the situation better by letting me rebook and honoring my original rate but refused leading me to believe the manager is either rude/unaccommodating/lacks basic customer service skills, trained poorly so unable to do a simple fix, or not allowed to make normal management level decisions to fix a problem made by the hotel. Absolutely unacceptable practice and not even a hint of an apology or understanding. The actual front desk worker said he didn't even work at this hotel but was covering because someone didn't show up. He was wearing a hampton or hilton uniform and while he was nice, he wasn't much help. Additionally, the room door had issues latching and locking shut. Had to try multiple times every time we left or returned to make sure it was fully closed because I'd not it could be easily opened without a key. Room itself was ok, some scuffs and stains here and there and a bobby pin left on bathroom floor. Also it has very minimal breakfast (waffles, yogurt, cereal only - no pastries, toast, eggs).

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would not stay here again. At check in they put us on the first floor which is the floor for pets. We love pets, we have pets, we did not travel with pets. The room smelled so bad of stinky, wet dog that our clothes smelled when we changed out of them 45 minutes later. Thick cloying, wet dog smell. We asked for a new room immediately but the desk staff needed the managers approval before switching us. We finally did get switched-- 30 minutes later to a smaller room on a different floor with no price adjustment and no apology. I was happy the room did not smell this time-- BUT-- there were several dead cockroaches in the room. The next morning we asked for the dead roaches to be vacuumed up and then we had to ask again that afternoon. (they did finally vacuum up the roaches) The room was an ADA room and the blinds were broken but it did not smell like dog. Breakfast day one- with 75 minutes left on the breakfast time most all the food was wiped out (eggs, yogurts, milk, oj) and ALL the tables were dirty. It was a busy summer morning with lots of kids running around why would they have not planned for the crowd? Breakfast day two-- much better. Clean and stocked. (and two people working) This was by no means the Hampton Inn we depend on. I will not be back.

Nice Hampton Inn! They have 2 pet areas & lots of grass around the sides and back of the hotel.read more
