    Hat shipped in shoe box
    Scott H.

Have a neighbor who was about to throw away his new mail order Open Road style hat from some overseas company that took 3 months to get here. They shipped it in a small shoe box, yup sure did. I took it to Cavender's and look what Nicholas was able to do. He is truly an artist. Thx guys!

I spent $250 on a straw hat,and when I told him what I wanted, he completely ignored me and made my hat look terrible

Cute size 5c boots for our 1 year old plus leather cleaner/conditioner because I'm certain they'll get scuffed often.

I went in to get our 1 year old a pair of boots. They have the kid's section off to the back left corner as you walk in. I had Amanda helping me find the right color/size boot I was looking for. I was able to walk in, locate the perfect pair of boots for our son and walk out happy in less than 15 minutes. That's the kind of shopping experience I love... easy, to the point and quickly leaving out of the store completely satisfied with my purchase. I will be back, as I have in the past to purchase more boots in the future. Update: I called inquiring about a pair of Lucchese boots. These are a pair that my husband has been wanting. We spoke to Ruben and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. We told him we'd come in so he could further assist us in our transaction. When we got there, there weren't any free sales representatives available so we just walked to the area of my husband's boots size. We were there for a good 10 minutes and that's when Zeus came to ask us if we needed help. He was very knowledgeable and helped us a great deal. We ended up ordering the pair of boots we called about along with another pair. I feel so bad because we originally dealt with Ruben but someone else ended up helping us. I'd like to recognize both men because they were both awesome!

    Beautiful boots!

I was looking for my first pair of boots and fell in love with this pair. Raul was a GREAT help in helping my boyfriend and I look for boots. He even helped my brother find a pair last weekend. My mom loved Raul's snakeskin boots so much that she wanted to buy them off of his feet right then and there... lol Raul was a great salesman, we'll be back with the rest of the family soon to get his help in finding they're boots!

To most folks suprise I don't own a pair of cowboy boots. I've lived on a ranch my entire life; but country wear just doesn't do anything for me. I went to school in Austin and played basketball so I should think Michael Jordan for most of my high school fashion choices. The wife on the other had can pull off any look including her small collection of cowboy boots. She lived on a farm just outside of Stillwater, OK for most of her childhood. Her love affair with boots or any custom made shoes comes with a price tag. She was ecstatic to find a pair of Corral brand boots on our recent visit for under $300. Now she is mad that she can't wear them due to the remnants of Hermine. Its like a kid in rain boots standing by the door waiting to go outside in a thunderstorm. Patience darling, patience.

"Kim" helped me out in the ladies section! She was absolutely amazing and a joy to have meet and helped me pick out some amazing boots... hat... shirts... the whole nine yards... she was insanely attentive! Not only to me but to all the other customers around her too... i will 1,000,000 % sat that this lil lady needs to be employee of the month and a raise lol seriously..! I will recommend all my folks to come here and ask for Kim! Thank you!

My first choice of Luccheses, est. retail value of $899.99.

This was my first visit inside of a Cavender's of any kind and location, and I left pleasantly pleased. I spent a good 45 minutes going perusing Stetson hats and Lucchesse boots. Very good customer service, very clear instructions on what to do in order to make my Lucchesse order a custom one. Although I was traveling at the time, I would certainly return to this location once again. I highly recommend salesman Scott C.

Yessir, I just got my first pair of Cowboy Boots. My Grandpa would be proud!

This young lady was amazing, and thanks to her, we both bought our first pairs of boots.

We travel frequently and are strong fans of Clarks shoes. Whenever we see a Clarks store, especially at outlets, we always make time to stop by. This was our first visit to this particular store. The issue was the interaction at checkout. The lady at the cashier was so rude. I had already selected two pairs of shoes and was ready to purchase. At checkout, the cashier asked for an email ID. I politely clarified, "Not a phone number, right?" Her response was to raise her voice and sharply repeat, "EMAIL ID!" We are careful about sharing our personal data. We know we already have a Clarks account. My husband checked his email and could not find any messages from Clarks, and when our email address was entered, the system could not locate it. The system then prompted us to create a new account. I tried to clarify again, asking whether the system was now requesting a phone number since our email address could not be found. Instead of listening, she continued repeating "EMAIL ID!" in an increasingly rude and loud tone. What upset us most was not just the tone, but the lack of respect. It felt as though she assumed we did not understand English, which is not true. We both speak and understand English fluently. No customer should ever be looked down upon because of accent, appearance, or background. There were many professional and respectful ways this situation could have been handled, such as: "Yes, ma'am, we use email only, not phone numbers." "I'm sorry, our database is local. If your account was created at another Clarks store, it may not appear here, and a new account would be required." If opening a new account is required, customers should be clearly informed and given a choice. We chose not to create a new account because we already have one with other Clarks stores. If Clarks does not have a centralized database, this is something the company should seriously consider improving. Customers have the right to protect their personal data and to ask questions. Not all customers who ask questions struggle with English. Many are simply cautious about privacy. Personal data should never be demanded as if it is unimportant. This experience left us disappointed and disrespected. We hope Clarks will provide better training in customer service, communication, data privacy, and cultural sensitivity at this location.

I also believe the manager could benefit from additional training in customer service to ensure customers are treated respectfully and professionally. I picked up a pair of shoes to see how they would look , and the employees approached us in a very rude manner to tell us that we needed to have the boxes with us. I do not understand why this is necessary. If this is a store policy, it would be helpful to place a sign at the entrance so customers are aware of the rule before shopping.

My fiancee and I got an uncomfortable vibe immediately. Deciding not to pay much attention to it, we shopped around. The store had hangers lying on the floor. It was pretty unbelievable given it was a Monday night. This is when the real problems started and the ultimate reason why im leaving this review. My fiancee was using his asthmatic inhaler. Then out of thin air, an employee runs up to us and spoke to us in a disrespectful voice. They commanded my fiancee to "stop hitting a vape". And we tried explaining to the lady its an inhaler but she wouldn't even bother listening to us. At that point, we were very frustrated so we put our items back and left the store.
