This review is based on our experience in the KOA Cavendish for 2 days in the month of July.
When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff and were assigned a campground. We also received access codes for the free WiFi, which you need one per device, more on that later. Unfortunately we later discovered that the sites were very small, so small that you had to share your electricity and water access points with your neighbor, and that your RV is directly in front someone else's RV. There are many activities for the children, which include a free hot dog roast on Sunday and daily hayrides, and the small but surprisingly deep pool (3m) was also semi-heated. The major letdown of this campground was the WiFi. It is available everywhere but is so slow (0.46 down, 0.01 up) that it is unusable. I couldn't fetch my email or do anything, really. The WiFi near the offices was much better, but still not acceptable for the price of a KOA. read more
