On Sunday morning we tried to dig holes with it and very soft dirt, and once again, the equipment was defective, would not dig at all, just stall out. They were closed on Sunday so I brought it back Monday morning and explained the situation to the owner Paul, he still charged me the minimum of $75 saying that we picked it up at three. We should've been able to call him by five on Saturday. I was amazed that he was going to charge me, but he did. I have been renting from them for over 15 years and will not again. We have videos of the machine not working, but he did not care.

Always helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect if you're planning to explore the entire bay, and the convenience of having plenty of parking makes the whole experience stress-free. On top of that, their kayak and canoe rentals are very reasonably priced. ​We've had such great experiences here that we will definitely keep using them for all our future kayak outings. The pedaling was labored, and the chain on our family bike popped off not once, but twice, leaving us stranded in traffic. This wasn't just an inconvenience--it was a safety hazard. We returned the bikes early, and the owner's response was shockingly dismissive. She said a quick "sorry" and then literally went inside and hid, refusing to speak with us or offer any refund. I questioned her saying that I found both in the $15 bin, and she told me I was wrong and they were in the 30% off section. My boyfriend chimed in at this point and made a remark about that being false advertising, and the lady said, "no it's not." At this point I just told her I no longer wanted it and we left. However reflecting on this I know she was probably trying to scam me as even with a 30% off discount the top and bottom would not have been $79. Honestly don't shop here, it's overpriced and a waste of your time.
