Solid meal with great service. We have lived nearby for a long time but hadn't tried it. As a family we are in search of a Mexican place to have a consistently good meal. We may have found it. We ordered queso with jalapeños on the side, a couple of house margaritas, and two chicken entrees. The decor isn't going to win any awards but the effort to make a quality experience is there. I happened to be in Roswell area and stumbled upon a Mexican restaurant in the shopping plaza with the "Open" sign still lit up. I was already starving at the time from my errands. It was around 9:30pm and I haven't eaten since lunch around noon or 1pm that day. When I walked in, there were 2 tables in the corner still dining. But, no servers or waiter/waitress to be found on site to request for a menu to order. Until I found a guy sitting way in the back while I waiting till he had a glimpse of my presence to flag him down for a Menu to be served. I believe this man is the son of the business owner judging by mannerism of service. This restaurant was large enough to have 2 rooms next to each other for more dining seats availability. The art pieces on the walls were captivating and had to snap a few shots for personal hobby of mine. Once Menu was provided, I started off with a Mango Margarita. Unfortunately, a mixed flavor was not recommended by the server or they did not provide this "mixing" drink service. 3 available options were Strawberry, Mango, & another forgotten flavor. So, I picked Mango as a personal preference. I started with an entree dish of the Mixed Fajitas with a compliment of their Chicken Soup. The server was about to leave with my Menu after taking my order. Little did he know, that I plan my food orders for the week and pressed my hand down on the Menu to continue with my take out orders for the next few days. I then continued to order the Carne Asada and Yolandas as to go for a later meal. The server looked at me to his surprise as I may not appear to be his regular customer to order so many dishes in one seating. That's more profit for them for 1 person. Either way, I enjoy my meal dining by myself to enjoy the ambiance if the restaurant ane aroma from the food to my delight! Server was tentative to my needs of to go boxes, a bag to store the containers. Double bag would have been preferable for car spilling prevention. They checked in as needed for any refills or additional orders. Will definitely stop by again if I'm ever in the area for dine in. read more

Great food in a humble setting. We are wowed with the size of the "regular" chicken soup at Cazadores! What a value with tons of chicken and homemade broth. I haven't been to this location in a long time, but the quality has remained high. The enchiladas verdes were delicious, as was the pollo with vegetables, and the very fresh guacamole. Unfortunately, I don't have the photo any longer. My daughter went there recently and and the cheese dip was a finger now, the manager insisted it was a tortilla chip. It was definitely not a tortilla chip. All I did was take the cheese dip often bill the food came she left it there, paid the bill and walked out. Unfortunately, it is a local place that's been there for a long time but when you don't have high expectations. People will continue to go, except that that would be the food that is good. read more

The service was ok and the food had decent flavor. The beans and queso dip both came out looking like they had been sitting for a while. We were some of the only people in the restaurant at the time and it felt like they were closing down even though they had more than an hour until closing. We ordered take out from Cazadores after we spent a long day exploring Atlanta with the kids. We drove to pick up the food a few minutes early so we had time to sit and drink a margarita. As we sat there, we chatted with the friendly staff. When we returned home, the food was still hot and it tasted great. I ordered the chicken fundido, not to be confused with "fundillo", which means "butt" in Spanish. The dish was fresh and delicious. I kicked it up a notch by adding some of their homemade hot sauce, which was just perfect. I really enjoyed the meal and I would definitely go back. read more

Don't come here! They use the cheapest ingredients, and the quality is honestly gross. Save your money. They half ass make the food, Taco shells were stale, the vegetables in the nachos were uncooked, the cheese in the nachos was a milk like texture. This is not a place you would want to drive a huge distance to go to but if you live in the area it is a fun and friendly Mexican joint. The staff will remember you after your second visit and getting a table (even when it is packed) is not hard. They turn the tables fast. My favs here are the fajitas and anything with shrimp. They devein the shrimp. That is a must have for me. Seriously. I will not go back to a place if they don't devein the shrimp. The shrimp fajita quesadilla is my favorite on the menu. Basic simple Americanized Northern Mex, which means lotsa queso and all the plates run thru a salamander. They run a lunch special from 11am-4pm that'll gives up a nice portion of the classics for $8.75. I went with a beef chimichanga and my wingman rolled a chicken fajita burrito. The 'changa comes with a passable bit of garlicky guac, a good rice prep, lettuce and tomato, so I'd judge it a little more filling than the fajita burrito which gets pico and sour cream. Both are drenched in spicy white queso sauce that actually isn't too bad. Both fillings were of good quality, plenty of steak, chicken, onions, peppers, and you can specify jalapenos or no. We both said yes, for just a little more heat. Interior is a little dated, but passable. Kitchen was quick, but our waiter seemed to disappear at times. Oh well. Beer was cold. Food was filling and oddly comforting as a throwback to a time when this WAS "Mexican food" across much of the South. read more

LOVE, love LOVE Cazadores! When I used to live in Atlanta, I ate at this location 1-3 times a week... EVERY week. Sadly, I moved to California but recently when I returned to the area I was determined to get some Cazadores. Even after several years the staff STILL remembered me. Was fantastic seeing them again. Good old "small town" service with people who remember who you are. That's something you won't find at a chain. The food is great for the price. The restaurant is always clean. Service is friendly.
