The salsa and tacos tastes great, and they keep the chips coming. Manager always greets us on the way in and out, and I appreciate that the Braves game is always on. It is strip mall Mexican food no doubt, but this is quality stuff.

    House bowl omg

Amazing, fantastic, delicious, give me ten of 'em. The chicken soup, the Texas rice, the taco Tuesday deal, the taquitos, the tamales, the margs, the house bowl, the rice, the black beans, the lollipops they put out in a little bowl on your way out I'm tempted to get a job here just to learn their secrets to how the food is so damn good. Not joking.

Combo #3 - enchilada, taco and chili relleno
    Meredith R.

This is a typical Tex-Mex restaurant. Is it the most phenomenal food you've ever eaten? No! But it's certainly not bad. Average! Conveniently located minutes from my house in the movie theater strip mall, we've been coming here for years. The family who runs it is hardworking and nice. And yesterday's lunch was pretty good. Perhaps a bit too much cheese -- I've learned to ask for sauce on the side, rather than poured on -- I was happy with my #3 combo, as was my friend with her tacos. Since I've been here, booths have been reupholstered and the interior jazzed up. At 12 noon, plenty of people were enjoying lunch. And on a broiling hot day, the restaurant was nicely air conditioned.

Lunch #7: beef quesadilla with rice and beans. Very bland

Recently started working in the area and have been looking for a good Mexican lunch spot...this is not it. Service was good, but the food was not. The ground beef in my beef quesadilla was very salty and greasy, the rice was almost crunch (so it was not fresh) and the refried beans were just bland. The ambiance was good, looks like it was recently renovated but the food was VERY underwhelming.

Not a fan of this location: the people that come here have a stick up their rear. Food is okay. Just make sure you're old if you go

These are…read moreclassic, traditional street tacos served on small corn tortillas, topped simply with fresh cilantro and onion. I appreciated that the onions were finely diced and uniform, it may seem like a small detail, but it made each bite clean and balanced. I ordered a variety of meats, and it was immediately clear that the quality is excellent. Everything was diced small, cooked perfectly tender, and packed with flavor. Not a single bite was chewy, which really speaks to the care in preparation. The tortillas were outstanding, sturdy without being tough, with a depth of corn flavor that made me wonder if they're house-made or cooked with a high-quality fat. Either way, they held together beautifully and elevated the tacos. The salsa bar was another highlight, offering several fantastic options. Every sauce had great flavor and a well-balanced consistency. The place was packed, and I was the only non-Hispanic person there, which felt like a very good sign of authenticity. Despite that, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

The plastic water cups looked foggy and old. Everything here just seemed old and dirty. We started with the Dip Trio because the salsa that came with the chips was very spicy. The Dip trio included Pico de Gallo (didn't look fresh), queso, and Guacamole. I ordered a Grilled Chicken burrito with Yuca Fries. The Grilled Chicken burrito barely had chicken and instead had a load of spicy chorizo (ground meat). It should've been called a chorizo burrito with chicken. The Yuca fries were like bricks (probably frozen). Our server was very nice which is why I gave this review 2 stars.

As soon as I walked in, I was seated and taken to a booth. Once I sat down I was handed a menu and was trying to figure out what I wanted. I was given water but the water tasted odd as if their filter needs to be changed. The seating was comfortable and there were plenty of places to sit. The ambiance was rather dark inside the restaurant. I ended up deciding on flautas and chose Mexican rice as my side. I didn't wait long for my food but the plating was very sloppy. A lot of cheese and just overall super unappetizing looking. However, I was starving so I made with what I had. The flautas were super oily and soggy so it was extremely hard to eat them without them failing apart. The rice was also watery as well and tasted mostly of tomato juice with how much watery they were. Service was alright, just very mediocre and grabbing plates when we weren't fully finished. Honestly, I could've made without going as the food was just alright. I most likely won't be coming back.
