First of all, this used to be my favorite Vitamin Shoppe store to get my supplements. After today,…read morethat's no longer the case. I can no longer subject myself to the treatment I've received at this store, as of late. The last straw was when I ordered some items online using a promo code that was advertised in the app. I received a notification that all of my items were ready for pickup and I proceeded to the store to retrieve them. Upon arriving at the store, I was told that one of the items were unavailable, due to a specific flavor being sold out, but there were other flavors available to exchange for it. I was totally fine with that so I found the replacement flavor and walked it to the counter. While in the store talking to the original associate, another associate walked in and settled himself in behind the counter. I mentioned to that associate that I had a conversation with the first associate about exchanging the unavailable item for the one I brought to the counter. He told me that I would have to pay full price for this item and that it couldn't be swapped out for inventory reasons. I understood that but that's not what the original associate mentioned in our previous conversation. I asked the original associate for clarity on what he mentioned to me and that's when the associate behind the counter begins to say that I'm being rude and confrontational. Never have I ever gotten out of line with anyone at that store! In fact, I used to talk at length to the previous employees. All I was trying to do was get the item for the same price I was quoted when I bought the item online but I was called rude for that. Being in a customer service job most certainly can be frustrating but if a customer is seeking to understand, you provide that clarity in a respectful way. This could have all been avoided with them just swapping out the product for the same price I paid for it originally. Instead, the situation escalated to an unnecessary point and the attitude on this guy was unacceptable. I'll be shopping on Amazon from here on out. The prices are better anyway!

For many it's game changer but here they offer some pretty tasty ways to have it. Parking can be rough but not impossible. With a little patient searching a spot can be found. A weekend visit had us about a block walk away, not bad. I suspect day time hours might even have a street spot or two open in front. The 39th street community is a pretty sweet one with so much to offer. Worth the visit for sure.

The shelves are half empty. Things that should be on sale and stocked are not there. This affects the ability to carry a wider variety of products. The butcher's here are quite knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. The butcher's at the Metcalf location are the worst. So coming the this location for meat is always a treat! The store is easy to navigate and I can get in and out pretty quick. The downside is product availability. This location is the busiest one in the area so product availability is really bad. More times than not if I need something I'll go to the 119th location to be absolutely sure I can get the food items I need. Overall, I'm here everyday, it's 8 mins from my house, the meat is top notch and amazing, it's my favorite daily grocery store to go to.

This unassuming store offers…read morepretty much (almost) the same basic items as TJ's but has lower prices and special deals on housewares, toys and assorted random items. I get vibes of a big box stores, but on a much smaller grocery store scale. Aldi's offers their house band labels as well some national brand items. Like TJ's some items are seasonal so grab them when you see your favorite items. The cashiers sit on chairs and ring you up. The cashier at this location placed my items in a cart. You then pay & bag your items up. You then replace that cart with yours. Some of the stores with subpar customer service expect you to unpack and place your items in your cart after being rung up. Btw, all Aldi stores charge for bags so you might want to bring your own. Also keep in mind that Aldi charges 25¢ for use of a shopping cart. Customers like to pay it forward and pass in their cart to the next shopper which I think is great!
