Now, I don't dance...I gave up on that around the 8th grade--never was very good. But I have heard so many good things about Spell's from people who do love the sport, that I had to check it out. A very nice lady (Ms. Spell, maybe? I think she was the owner) greeted me, and showed me around the store. It's pretty much all dancewear and costumes for all ages...from toddler to old age. They have a small selection of yoga wear as well. Prices seemed, well, normal as far as I could tell. A nice pair of yoga pants that felt SO good were $35, and I've seen them far more expensive. Now, the gold lamay (I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong) leotard with hot pink sequins? I have nothing to compare that to, but at $25 I think it seemed reasonable enough. It's a nice store, and if you are in need of dancewear, costumes, or just want to check it out, you should stop in!

Mothers fussing back stage with bobby pins so that their little girl's hair stayed in a tight bun. This store is all that and more. I like what they have to offer. Very nice plain black leotards, a must for every dancer, and funky ones with feathers flying everywhere. My dance teacher would never have let that in her studio, but that's just how it went for me! Anyway, they have great leggings, quality lycra tops, and ballet shoes to boot. I agree with Robin S. The prices are on line with any store of this nature. If you dance, or your child does, it's worth having a look. Or a trip down memory lane.

They told me that I would have to order the shoes AND pay for shipping- when it really isn't my problem that they didn't have what I needed! It was unorganized and we left quite rapidly. PLUS, the prices are completely unreasonable. We ended up driving to Nashville, had amazing service and got everything we needed, for reasonable prices. The store is quite large and well organized. Multiple employees asked me if I needed help with anything and were very friendly. The store was not super busy, but I went at an off time. I like that I am able to use my Nordstrom credit card here and that my purchases here contribute to the points I earn. I drive 30 minutes to get to this location and they would not take them back. So the customer isn't ever right here. I will never shop there again. It is a cut rate store and I will never shop there again. All are yes men or women.
