Waited a while till lunch break was over. Spoke to employee that didn't seem to want to be bothered and interrupted from his seat. Waisted time and horrible exit off the freeway to get to. Bought my very first sandcar and after 30 min. In the sand it just stopped running, not knowing the history of the car or what could possibly be wrong I decided to take it back to where the engine was built (CBM). Dropped the car off with them not knowing what the problem was, for all I knew the engine could have been blown. They called me up a couple days later and informed me it was just fouled out plugs, happy and relieved it was something simple I decided to get the car dynoed and tuned. They called me a few days later with good news car ran great and even better they were able to save me money. Over all I am very pleased with the service provided, they could have been dishonest and charged me a ton of money when it was just spark plugs. Communication was on point, called me with information every time it was necessary. Turn around time, service, communication, integrity, everything you would want in a shop these guys hit the mark. Had my mechanic or a wiring harness, computer, and throttle control module from them. Absolutely the worst customer service ever experienced! Placed the order on 6-5-2021 got sent the wrong harness in November of 2021, sent it back and am still waiting for ALL the components! Paid for all this in advance and after a full year...I'm STILL WAITING!!! The entire project has been on hold because of the broken promises and outright lies!!! going to try and get a refund next week from them, hopefully that will be a bit easier (doubt it). CBM I heard alot of Mix Reviews but Me being optimistic I wanted to give them a try. They saw me coming when I asked questions I was uphold by atleast 2500 My intake wasn't installed after being charged for it .I was told 6-8 aweeks which took about 16weeks. I was a dookie in engine work they knew it and got everything out if mr for basic work. Even when trying to support a company during a pandemic I got screwed. But karma has a way of showing up. The guys at CBM are great to work with. They provided we with many quality parts and endless detailed help with my buggy build. I was frequently coming up with questions regarding connection of modern fuel injected motors into custom offroad vehicles and everytime I picked up the phone to explain my dilemma the guys at CBM would always have a great solution and were always super quick to get anything I needed out to me immediately. WARNING Don't take your off road car here! They will rob you blind! A rebuilt motor quoted at 12-14k. And a new one 20k. We went with the rebuild and without warning and several calls to check on build sheet pricing Bruce the owner kept assuring my husband it would not be over 15k They had our car for 3 months with excuse after excuse! When my husband got the call 2 weeks ago to pick up the car and bring $19,200. He about fell over ! The car was dirty and there wasn't anybody there to help him load it on the trailer! Our Biggest mistake leaving with the car before talking to the Owner Bruce! So many things are wrong with the rebuild wires Hanging , dirty half ass job done on our $50k car parts replaced that were brand new. Just so much it makes us sick! We have more to share but our story will be told on race dessert DO NOT GO HERE POOR BUSINESS this place has gone down hill very sad we had to pay the price'. *DID MY RESEARCH, only found a few places that would even touch my car, I called all of the places that were qualified, spoke to only 2 after leaving messages and calling each several times. One was Chris at CBM so I continued my search even afterwards just to be 100% sure. I tried and tried different places with no results or returned calls... I was told by a couple people that build cars that this place called CBM Motorsports was one of the best. My first thought was "that means expensive". I decided that if I wanted it right I had to make sure it is. Fast forward a few days, also with no response from other shops, when I took my car to this Chris guy because he seemed to ALWAYS answer (or at least somebody does) and to know what I was talking about when I explained what I needed. He told me when they had a spot open for me, I took it to them and I strongly advise to just go in and check out what they really do and HOW they do it all. Warning* drooling follows- You'll wanna build something nasty and you'll realize that's the place to do it. That's my new spot. Oh yea! and they got my car dialed in and it didn't cost a lot (but who cares ...when it's done RIGHT) and even told me what to change to get more performance out of it AND WHY!!... AND WHY??!! ...
