I shared that I had my daughter's car because she was going to be out of town for several days and asked if there was anything they could do. We also wanted a lookover just to see if the old car was worth putting the money into. C&C was great. They said they could do a courtesy inspection if I could leave the car. I did and in less than a week they were able to do all the work necessary by just squeezing me in. The entire staff was great. I think I will begin using them as well. There prices were better than where I had previously taken my cars. Again, they were great and I felt they really bailed out my daughter.

I dropped off my car after hours due to the plastic mud guard having come loose and having had it…read moredamaged through dragging on the highway. There is a whole system set up to drop off the car, leave the key in an envelope, put a message on the envelope, and then drop the whole thing into the mail slot so it is locked in the office. I fully expected a multi hundred dollar estimate, with a new part and labor, but it wasn't that way at all. The estimate was $70 (including $20 for the state safety inspection). It was of course a simple fix, but kudos to this shop for being honest about it and not trying to upsell, up charge, or do anything other than what was needed. I wish more auto places would be like this, but until they are, Arlington Auto Repair on Four Mile Run is the place to go!

For the majority of its lifespan, from 2008 through 2025, I consistently took the car to Ourisman Fairfax for scheduled maintenance every 5,000 miles. After recently moving farther away from Fairfax, I took my car to a local mechanic for service. During this visit, I learned that the transmission fluid had never been changed. This realization was deeply disappointing, especially since I had trusted a reputable Toyota service center to perform all necessary fluid changes over the years. Despite being charged for fluid changes, the transmission fluid--an essential maintenance item--was overlooked. I also own a Toyota Sienna, which is due for maintenance soon. Given my recent experience, I am concerned that I may encounter the same issue with this vehicle. I plan to update or write another review regarding the outcome after its next service appointment.
