Before the watering season begins in a month or so, my wife and I decided that it was time for a sprinkler system tune up. We wanted to ensure all the zones were irrigating as they should as well as all the sprinkler heads tuned properly. Checking the companies on Yelp, we ran across CB's Sprinklers and booked an appointment. The individual we talked to in the office explained the process and what the hourly rate was. We came to an agreement and set up a time for Chris to come by and check our system out. Chris was right on time and had called us prior to his visit to let us know he was on the way. Upon arrival, Chris immediately got to work checking each of our 4 irrigation zones. He fixed one of the broken heads that lined the driveway. In about an hour he let us know that one other head needed to be replaced and everything else was up to par and ready for the spring/summer growing season. YAY! My wife and I were both very happy with Chris' professionalism and his knowledge. We'll definitely give him a call in the future if further repairs and tweaks need to be made. Hi. So there's some good and bad here. And they will likely pay to have this review removed to the "not recommended reviews" section but oh well. The good. They were responsive, prompt, worked with scheduling, and called before arrival. Chris was nice. The other guy... smoked in front of me which seems unprofessional but not a deal breaker. The bad. They don't disclose the price of the service call by itself nor did they tell me the pricing of the service provided prior to the visit. When I called because of sticker shock they said "well you didn't ask", which to be fair is true, but that burden is shared and is equally, if not more so, the responsibility of the business to proactively disclose. There's no other business model where pricing isn't mutually agreed to prior to service. My recommendation, they're probably fine if you've used them before or if you are proactively digging for the pricing. They could have easily recommended I check my meter before having them come out. They didn't because they knew that if they drove up to my house that they could charge me $120 (supposedly per hour but there's no breakdown of that hour. So 5 mins or 50 you'll pay the same). Anyway. They seem nice ish but I feel like the practice of not proactively sharing pricing borders on unethical. So just be cautious. read more

I've used CB's at least 4 times in the past 5 years, they always get the job done properly and for a fair rate. They even did an emergency call on the day they were leaving for vacation in December. I had been having issues with my sprinkler system for quite some time and other companies were either having trouble diagnosing the issue or were charging ridiculous prices. I called CB's Sprinklers and spoke to Leslie who was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was very upfront about all fees and how they bill the customer. We scheduled a time for Chris to come out, he arrived on time and called me after diagnosing the issue and before doing any work to get approval. After doing the initial work Chris found a leak in the system and called to discuss it and to get approval for repair and to let me know approximate cost. Everything is up and running now. Shawn over at CB's sprinklers did a great job at fixing all my lawn issues. Replaced two bad under ground valves and fixed the wires on the other bad one. In digging out the roots of a tree near the house, I accidentally severed the control wire for the master valve. Chris and Kasey showed up earlier than they had promised, quickly diagnosed the problem, and repaired it. Hi Everyone, My quick story about CB's Sprinklers. Just in case you don't like to read long reviews here is my short one. This is the best company I work with on anything home related. They are professional, timely and Chris and his wife Leslie do A++ work on sprinklers for an affordable price. The first time I called them Leslie scheduled the appointment and they called a half hour before they showed up and did a fantastic job on our sprinklers. They worked efficiently and quickly. We were very pleased to have a working sprinkler system. This doesn't sound like anything extraordinary but what came next was. About a month later the contractor that was putting up our fence broke the sprinkler water line and tried to fix it but he just made it worse. I called Leslie and asked her if there was any way for them to come out that day. I told her I understood if they couldn't make it on short notice. Long story short Chris came within the hour fixed the issue for us by going above and beyond. If you're not using CB's Sprinklers then you're crazy! read more

Sean and Casey came out and fixed my sprinkler system after a portion had been destroyed during a swimming pool installation. Sean gave me a fair estimate and he rerouted the pipes and wires around the pool. Fixed a couple of other broken wires, that had apparently been pulled loose. He also replaced several sprinkler heads around the house that did not work very well When he was finished he even cleaned up the extra rock left on the surface. Everything accomplished within the original estimate. It was a pleasant experience and they really did a nice job. Highly recommend! read more
