I am so frustrated by the lack of communication, specifically answers to the status of my almost new drill that I dropped off in August 2025. It's now April 2026, 8 months later, and I still don't have my drill. After paying the deposit, I assumed that I'd hear back soon about what repairs were needed, and when my drill would be ready for pickup. I have reached out multiple times in the last 8 months for an update on my repair, by phone, email, and text, but have not received anything concrete, if I received a response at all. In fact, I don't even know if they even still have my drill. I just want an answer - do they still have my drill, or is it being worked on? read more

CCR maintained my Craftsman riding mower again this year. I am happy with the results.

i brought my mower in and left it 6 months ago with a $40 deposit. NANCY said it would be 2-3 wks. after a month of calls and emails, i get a email correcting my time frame of when i left the mower. 5 months later i have / got no parts, no deposit refund, no mower and worst of all no communication. i dont see how they stay open with the worst customer service i have ever had to deal with. i can only conclude that they are straight up thieves. i also find it amazing that RYOBI recommends them and have certified them to be the only place to repair their tools. i give them a 1 star only cuz i cant give them a lesser rating. read more

They were maintaining our riding mower under warranty but were unable to fix it the last 2 times they had it. They told me that I would now have to pay to have the mower picked up and then delivered. They picked it up almost 2 years ago but kept the mower and the money we had prepaid for delivery. They have never responded to our calls. We assumed they were out of business. read more

I hadn't used my Toro snowblower in years, so of course it wouldn't start the one time i tried to use it last year. They repaired it (if i recall correctly they replaced the carburetor). They also refueled it, added fuel stabilizer, reminded me how to operate it properly, and advised me to start it about once a month and to also add fuel stabilizer next time I refill it. The worst service I have probably ever received. They DO NOT communicate after they say they will, they never answer the phone call, and I have been given constant excuse after excuse as to why my mower hasn't been fixed since I dropped it off on September 15, 2022. Was told that the mower was fixed and would be delivered at the beginning of May 2023, and then no response for weeks. Had to go pick it up due to their inability to deliver it on May 25th. They had to come and pick up the mower on June 2 and they have been "Fixing it" since and I just keep getting excuse after excuse as to why I don't get an update or to why the mower is still not fixed as of August 7th 2023. Now I'm sitting here having to borrow my neighbors mowers or pay for a lawn service due to this shops inability to do their job. read more

CCR Mower Repair is one of the best repair places I have ever dealt with. I brought in a lawn mower that was running significantly slower than normal, and a weed wacker that wouldn't start. I was told they had a 1-2 week turn-around, and my job was finished in a week. The issues with both were thoroughly explained to me, and the price was extremely reasonable. Had my leaf blower repaired at CCR. It had a bent impeller. It took awhile for them to get it fixed but it now runs like new. Their price is very reasonable. I am very happy with the work that was done and plan to come back to have more work done on my other engines (when needed) in the future. 2 pieces of equipment sat in their shop for 34 days before I got fed up with "we are so sorry but technician didn't get a chance to look at it yet". They will say "we'll call you with an update". Never got a call. Bottom line. I run a small construction company, and when I get shorthanded, I hire additional help. Guess it's not their business model. Brought in my Ryobi Riding Mower for evaluation and reair. After dropping it off and leaving the required $40 deposit, I never heard from them. I tried contacting them several times by phone (they are hardly there to answer the phone) and via company email. After two months, they told me that they could not complete the repair unless I replaced the batteries at over $1000. I said I would pursue the repairs on my own. (Internet Youtube videos offer multiple options for replacing the lead-acid batteries to a better option.) I asked for my Invoice stating/listing the parts that they said they relaced, but the owner was not present and they promised to send it and my deposit (repairs covered under warranty) in late October, and then again in a text on Nov. 7th with PROMISE to send both out. Phone calls go unanswered and I have no recourse regarding ever getting what should have been a standard business transaction. I would not recommend this repair company to anyone and will never return to them again. (I would find a different Company even if it is over 2 hours from my home rather than deal with this Company.) read more

When my lawnmower wouldn't start, I went on Nextdoor to ask for recommendations. The first reply said CCR was great and now I understand why. When I first called to explain the issue, Nancy offered some troubleshooting ideas I could try on my own. A place that is willing to offer free advice, when they could have just told me to bring it in, was the first sign of their incredible service. I decided to save myself the trouble of messing with it and took it in for them to look at. Nancy called to update me on what they had found and explained all my options before proceeding with any work. In my particular case, the best bet for a fix was going to cost a bit more than I wanted to spend, so I told Nancy I'd just come pick it up and maybe have a friend try to fix it. When I went to pick it up, the mechanic (Antwon) took about 15 minutes out of his day to show and explain to me exactly what the issue was. I couldn't believe he was willing to do that knowing that the more info my friend had, the less likely I would need to come back for service. Once he finished explaining the problem to me, I asked what I owed for the time he had spent looking at it. He REFUSED to accept any money for it. He said this particular issue was so odd that all he wanted was for me to update him after my friend looked at it because he was genuinely curious about the outcome. I can't remember the last time I've had such a positive customer service experience. CCR has earned a lifelong customer. I can't recommend them enough. I've had three separate engines worked on at CCR, including a seized lawn mower. In each instance they were professional, courteous and a pleasure with which to deal. In one instance another shop (in close proximity) had told me that the engine would need significant work and would cost over a $150, CCR repaired it for around $50. They take the time to explain what the problem was and what they did to address it, in a manner that is both understandable and displays how much they love what they do. I took in all my yard tools and they got them tuned up right away, pulled all the maintenance and cleaned them up for another year of use. He repaired my chain saw, mower, weed trimmers and blower.
