when my 8yo Samsung washer did not go into the spin cycle, i found Fuse online and reached out. within 5 or 10 minutes i had a reply and offer to schedule in a 2 hour window as soon as the following day. the diagnostic, while competitive, is still high given new washers are $700 and to come out then repair/install replacement parts, could run $500. so like others, i was trying to weigh whether the repair is worth it. A/I actually said this: "If the machine is over 8-10 years old, the repair cost is more than 50% of a new model's price, or it has recurring issues, replacement is often the better option. Conversely, if it's a younger machine and the fix is minor and less than half the replacement cost, repairing it is a more economical choice. " i recalled the first repair guy who came out when this machine was out of balance or something like 2 yrs ago. he unplugged it and the thing resets after 5 minutes. i still was charged like $129 or something even though all he did was unplug it, i never heard of that tip before him, saving me $99 this go. but i digress. this time around, i had to do it twice - the first time evacuated the water, the second initiated the spin cycle. so i dodged a bullet this time -- b/c to remove a major appliance from the basement down 13 steps is a major hassle for the installers and me - moving everything out of the laundry room to make space....(and removing leaves from the outside steps too), would have been such drama. I may not have used Fuse on this repair, but I will keep an open mind for future repairs to HVAC or other. I also may need the eletrical box updated if i decide to keep living here when i retire. read more

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator, model RF32CG5400S, on 8 February 2025, from Best Buy in Wheaton, MD. In August 2025 I noted that the temperature was higher than it was set for, and some things in the freezer compartment were beginning to thaw. I spent 3 months arguing with Samsung for coverage by manufacturer's warranty. Samsung only once admitted it was under warranty, but they denied it was under warranty when I tried to use it. They wore me down. In late November I blundered into the web site for Fuse Service. I was given an estimate of $1433 for repair. The repair turned out to involve more work than the Fuse technician, Daniel, had expected. Fuse honored the original estimate! And the refrigerator was finally repaired after 3 visits in 5 days. I just hope the repair lasts longer than the brand new refrigerator. Daniel worked very hard on each visit. Was very impressed. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I did not have a good experience. it's too hard to get a quote from them and they don't honor the price they give you. My washing machine broke and I was trying to asses if repairing it was more cost effective than buying a new one. They only give you their inspection fee. i wasted a lot of time giving them info, agreed to pay the inspection, they sent someone who was very unprofessional and didnt even open the machine to see what the problem was And basically yelled at me. After that I tried to arrange the service date and David did not want to honor the installation fee HE gave me. On top of that HE declined to work with me. it shouldnt be this hard to get service . There is a lot of other better vendors out there than this one. read more
