I paid owner Lamar $150 to replace a cracked screen on my iPhone 11 in March. Afterwards I take my phone home & order a screen protector online. About a week later when I apply it (several others) I realize the glass that was installed by Lemar CC repairs was defective. The touchscreen wouldn't work with a glass protector over it. I called Lemar and he says for me to just bring it in within one year, that I have a warranty and He guarantees his work for one year. So last month I bring it back in to him & he tells me that he won't replace the glass because the glass is scratched and has a small chips in the corners. I relayed to him that he said he guarantees his work and that the reason there is no screen protector on my phone is because he installed a defective glass cover. Nope, he won't do anything for me. I was beyond upset. Let me reiterate; Lamar of CC Repairz charges me $150 to install a defective glass cover, then told me to come back within the year since it's guaranteed. My iPhone has a glass covering that doesn't allow a glass protector on it and function properly, then he says he won't guarantee his work because glass is scratched & chipped because IT DIDNT HAVE A PROTECTIVE COVER! I was completely baffled at his logic. He kept on referring to the scratches. I kept on obviously referring to the defective glass he put in to cause the scratches. Then he referred to the receipt and wording on the receipt. I have the receipt and there is nothing on it. This is completely disappointing and I hate leaving negative reviews for small businesses. This is the only time I've ever left a negative review but this was a complete waste of $150 and bad business. read more
