I am really dissatisfied with the one-price cleaner Munster, IN. I noticed that my black slacks were extremely faded when I was going to put them on after taking two sets of clothes in December. To be honest, I do not wash my black slacks; instead, I take them to the dry cleaner. The first week of January, I called Tania, the manager, and she asked me to bring them back, and they would redo them. I checked them before I left yesterday, February 22, when I tried to pick them up, and they were creased, even though I never crease my slacks. The condition of the slacks appears to be worse than when I dropped them off. While I was waiting, the cashier went to speak with the manager, and they attempted to redo them. When the crease did not come out, I decided to leave them. It says in my profile that I do not take creases in my slacks, if I may. It appears that the individual who took the slacks in did not read my "Jalissa" profile. This has been a persistent issue with my slacks. The only thing I want right now is a refund because the slack looks awful. read more

I paid over $100 to have my laundry washed and folded because I didn't have time to do it before vacation. What I got back appalled me. Things were not sorted or folded nicely. Just thrown together and wrapped in plastic - wrinkled so badly. I got home and had to start folding everything all over again. I am taking the rest back tomorrow for the manager to see and to get my money back. I've had this service done at other places and know what a professional job looks like. This was worse than if my 5-year old son did it. *UPDATE - I went in the next day and the manager was very apologetic. They offered to redo my laundry or give us a credit back. I was satisfied with how the issue was resolved. read more

I took my coat in for cleaning and a new zipper and was told I could pick my coat up on Monday morning anyhow I get my husband to pick it up for me and they tell him that they couldn't put a zipper in it so they gave him back the money for the zipper and they didn't clean my coat and when I try calling their number it wouldn't go through so am giving them a Big Fat F and I will never go there again read more

Unfortunately, I took several items to this cleaners and they washed my clothes. The lady there said you have to tell them not to wash your clothes. I said, "Really, I thought this was a cleaners not a laundry-mate." And I continued to say, you are suppose to ask me if I want something washed, and not to wash any of my items when you clearly said that I was paying for dry cleaning service, not laundry?! The saddest part of this is that they seemed to not be bothered by this huge mistake! Everyone of my items that they washed, including my sweaters/dresses, Shrunk. I went to pick-up my items today, Thursday, July 2nd, 2020. My tickets for my items all say, IN BOLD, that the items will be ready to pick up on Thursday 07/02/20 after 5:00pm. At 6:00pm, I went in and was told.."your clothes are not ready until tomorrow". My ticket says TODAY and when I dropped them off, the person told me they would be ready after 5pm TODAY. The woman at the counter today said: they don't work on Wednesday, so Thursday means Friday" WTF does that even mean? I have never had a problem here and the prices are fairly cheap!! I can get my entire weeks of dry cleaning for under $25!!! Everyone is always friendly. I understand you can't give 100% service to every customer that comes in but every time. However, every single time that I have come in I have received the service that is exceptional. It's not about going above and beyond because it's a dry cleaning service but I receive the service that I expect out of my weekly cleaners, thank you to the staff!! I wish you guys wore visible nametags so I can at least mention some people! read more

The clean and fold service is wonderful. They put your things in little bags, and put those bags in big reusable bags.

Turnaround time & price... can't beat it! Terrific experience with their staff as well. And the end product - my dress shirts - come back perfectly clean and pressed, ready for the next day. You can be certain I'll be back often! read more

I didn't see any of the reviews prior to dropping off my clothes, and maybe might have changed my mind. I'm glad I didn't as I don't have anything bad to say, only positive. I took in three shirts as I was traveling in the area for business. I did not make it back the same day, but was promptly called the next morning to discuss one of my shirts as they found what looked like a burn mark on it. They wanted to know if I was aware of any mark and if not that they would replace my shirt. I thanked them for their honesty, but let them know I was aware of the damage as it was an iron mark I had created by mistake...hence the desire to have it dry cleaned and pressed professionally. I don't live in the area, but the service and quality I received is enough for me to go back if the need is there on another trip. read more

This is a 'no-frills' dry cleaning approach, (Except for the starbucks coffee they serve for free.) They don't clean speciality garments, yet they have an in by 10am out by 5pm turn around time...which I find extremely useful. They charge the same price for an item if you need it same day or the next day or next week. I've found it save me a lot of $$ They are cash only...pay up front. read more

I have been a customer for years! Every now and again they would mess up something. My last order caame back with 4 items damaged. They did a do over and told me I could file a claim. This location is hit and miss. I've used two other CD Cleaners 100+ times without incident. This one erred on 2 of 3 trips. Stains on the left sleeve of all shirts and didn't do a good job with a couple of other garments - wrinkled. Overall, congested, cheap and fast. But worst dry cleaner I've used personally. read more

Service is good.... BUT... They ruined 3 dresses ... took the pleating out of one, completely damaged the fabric of another & destroyed the fringe of the 3rd. Also dropped off a white blazer... and the grime (from regular wear) on the edges of the sleeves & the color were still there when I picked it up... so not very meticulous... they took it in to clean it for free They did partially reimburse me for the 3 dresses with out any hesitation... however they were pretty amazing dresses and I can't get them back :( Service only counts for so much when you destroy people clothing. womp womp read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOWN COAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care that it's only $3.49. I could have just as easily thrown both my coat and hood with fur trim into a what must have been very hot wash and dryer. This would likely have resulted in a much smaller coat and a hood with fur that now looks like a wet dog. I can't say much for anything else because this was the first and last piece of clothing I will be taking to this place. I have had this same coat dry cleaned at Lansing Cleaners for a higher price, but the coat came back in perfect condition. read more

One star for the price. If I could go zero, I would. This is something I though of for a long time, what to rate it. 5 shirts under 6 bucks is a good deal. So I thought. I dropped off my shirts, cleaned, pressed, starch medium. Now, they might not do starch, I would guess they don't because there was no starch on my shirt. If they don't do it, I'd figure the young lady who waited on me would have mentioned it. Nope. You pay first, no biggie, I got cash! Pick up in a few days, sure. I go back, pick up, come home. I had shirts already clean, so I didn't open the shirts until I needed them. Today. They smelled. Bad. No crease, no press, again, no starch. They smelled like B.O. mixed with two week old salad mix. I don't think they did any work to them, except to put a tag on the bottom button hole and hang them up. Very disappointed, I figured I'd just chalk it up to you get what you pay for, and I'll go to my local cleaner, sure it's 6 shirts for 11 bucks, but I know they'll be clean and pressed and starched. It reminds me of a joke from Annie Hall: "There's an old joke - um... two elderly women are at a Catskill mountain resort, and one of 'em says, 'Boy, the food at this place is really terrible.' As a first time customer,I was certain they would do a good job with my dry cleaning. I had $ 100.00 dollars worth of items to be cleaned. One of which was a beautiful "BLUE" sweater. I went to wear it several weeks later and realized that it wasn't blue anymore. It was black now, and had some streaks in it. I asked my wife to double check just to make sure I wasn't loosing my mind. They apparently screwed it up and dyed it , only they dyed it the wrong color. It was a gift from my mother and my favorite. I'm extremely upset at the disregard they showed by trying to cover it up first of all, instead of being honest. Secondly by just saying the heck with it ,just dye it black,and maybe he won't know. Either way, it's dishonest and low to do either,and think I wouldn't notice. I had dropped off a jacket 7:30am and is promised to be done at 5pm same day service for less than $3. So in that aspect I thought it was a good place and possibly would be my new dry cleaning place. But then my opinion changed when I went to go pick it up. I stop after work at 4:45p to pick up my jacket and I am told it isn't ready. I kind of gave him a confused look and the worker stated it wasn't 5 yet. Are you kidding me? You have had it for 9 hours!!! If I could leave no stars I would. Very first time I took an item here they ruined it and told me that it was like that when I brought it in. It was a basic tan trench coat when I dropped it off. When I picked it up there were oil spots all over it. I was told that it looked that way when I brought it in, NOT TRUE. My second encounter was just stupidity on my part. I had an event set for a Saturday so I dropped off my white blazer MONDAY. I was told it would be ready Tuesday. I got busy during the week so I didn't make it back there til Thursday. Blazer was half pressed & I was told that there was something wrong with the blazer so they needed to rewash & press. Ok fine. I stressed that I need it Saturday. I was told come back Friday & it would be ready. I get there Friday evening only to find the blazer in the same condition I had left it the previous day! Manager give me the same BS story about re washing & I'm told the pressers are all gone for the day. I'm livid! They then proceed to tell me they will have it ready by 10am the next day and will offer me a credit for the inconvenience. Mind you they have had this item since MONDAY! I am beyond PISSED. If I could this place a zero I would. I dropped off 10 items on Saturday 3/9 at 7 in the morning. I went to pick up my items at 5pm and they lost my vest! I was very angry leaving this place, but thought it was a mistake and they would call me as soon as the locate it. I went through my other items, and they destroyed my dress pants! I am so furious right now, two items the same day. One lost and the other ripped in a way that I dont even understand how they could do it. This place truly sucks. I was very displease with the cleaning experience of a black and white dress that I wore only twice. When I removed it from the dry cleaners bag the white was dignity and still had a spot on it which was now yellow.
