I was told by these guys that my computer needed a new hard drive...and they quoted me a price of $125.00. After giving it some thought, I figured I could save some money by installing the hard drive myself. So, I paid a $25 dollar "shop/diagnostic fee" and took it home. I bought a new hard drive for $35.00 and installed it. Not a big deal. Then, I took it back to these guys.. just to have Windows 7 installed. And In 'their' own words, "I already did the hardest part." But for that installation, they charged me $75.00 (plus tax $81.19)!! I could have bought the DVD for $65.00 on Amazon. Yes, in hindsight, I should have asked them, yep, sure should have. But bottom line, regardless, their fee's are ridiculous. In return for "doing the hardest part myself", the whole deal cost me $141.00, that's more than the original $125.00 (not including tax) they quoted to do the whole job! I've got another laptop needed the same work, so I just bought the OS dvd on Amazon, and another hard drive. Doing it all myself. read more

This place wanted to charge me more than $2000 total to recover files from my 1TB hard drive. After the free diagnosis/evaluation, they had an $275 starting service fee on top of the $1800 they said it would cost to fix the damages and recover my files. AND it would be another $88 for them to provide a replacement hard drive. Talk about some serious over charging and hidden fees. This was not something I could afford and after some time, they did offer to give me a discount but at that point I was very uncomfortable with the whole situation.

My water heater started leaking on Friday afternoon December 30,2022…read more A friend recommended Tettenhorst Plumbing. It was after lunch when I called Mr Tettenhorst & he said he had some men working in Alto. Ok, 30 minutes later a young man called & said they should arrive in About 45 mins. Two Extremely nice young men arrived & tried to fixed the leak by tightening the valve. I noticed they were hanging around after they tightened it. I asked were they waiting on something. Yes, ma'am we are waiting to see if what we did stopped the leak. After a few more minutes we all went & found it was still leaking. It was time for me to replace. I asked if they could order one & when could it be put in. Within 1 hour the truck delivered my new water heater on Friday afternoon before New Year's Eve!!
