I have dealt with the Forney USPS location for over 3 years and it's a total joke. A new building or renovated building won't fix the issues that exist with USPS Forney location. Nothing will. I briefly considered renting a mailbox here, but hey, why bother when it's already occupied by a mountain of lost shipments? And let's talk about that line oh my , what a *fun* little fire hazard! Nothing like being squished up against a door while waiting to drop off an Amazon return. Who needs personal space when you can have a front-row seat to disorganization in action? Oh, and the staff! I've had consistently bad experiences at this location. The staff are rude, unprofessional, and…read moreunwilling to help. When I asked them to enter the correct weight on a shipping label, they argued and claimed it wasn't necessary -- which is simply not true. Customers should be aware: shipping companies charge based on both actual and dimensional weight. If your package is even slightly over the stated size or weight, you can be hit with extra charges -- and worse, your shipment may not be properly insured. If something happens during transit, you're out of luck. It's unacceptable for a shipping store to refuse to enter accurate information on a label. UPS already has a reputation for overcharging, and this location makes it even worse. We need a new UPS Store & more than one because this one is unethical & unprofessional. If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid this store if you can -- Longview deserves better.
