Esther is soooooo amazing! My goldendoodle hates getting brushed daily so he gets matted so quickly even with grooming every 3 months. We just moved to OC and found Esther thru seeing her work on another pup while I was out and about. To be completely honest, when I dropped my pup off, I was so ready to picked up a completely shaved boy (because he is so matted on random spots) Esther spent the entire day with him (blessed her heart) When I picked him up, I wanted to cry. One of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I have ever had with a business. The crazy part is that I had actually brought one of my dogs here before. The haircut was decent and the experience was okay, which is why I decided to come back with all three of my dogs. Looking back, that was a mistake. I scheduled appointments and clearly discussed haircuts for all three dogs. They kept my dogs for over three hours, and when I picked them up, it was obvious that almost nothing had been done. No haircut. No proper grooming. No bath. It looked like they had simply been brushed and sent back out. After wasting hours of my day and leaving my dogs there, I received essentially no service. Then came the best part: they expected me to pay around $100 per dog anyway. Let me be clear--the money is not the problem. The problem is expecting customers to pay hundreds of dollars for services that were never provided. Why would anyone pay for a haircut that never happened? To make things even worse, over a month later the owner called me demanding money and threatening legal action. Instead of taking responsibility for the fact that nothing was done, she chose to act aggressively and try to intimidate me. If that is how customer complaints are handled, it's no wonder people leave upset. This business seems far more concerned about collecting money than actually delivering the services customers are paying for. The lack of professionalism, accountability, communication, and customer service is unbelievable. I gave this place a second chance because my first visit was decent. After this experience, there won't be a third chance. I will never bring my dogs back here again. If you care about your pets, your time, and your money, I strongly recommend finding another groomer. There are plenty of businesses that actually do the work before demanding payment for it. read more

I've waited a couple of weeks to write this because I don't want to hurt a small business but I don't feel right not sharing. Our dog escaped from this groomer within less than an hour of being there with no collar on. They notified me by texting me, no phone call and then called my husband. Supposedly the owner was looking for him but was in Irvine at the time. I don't know if any of the staff went after him because I didn't see anyone or hear or anyone going after him. They did not call animal control, my husband and the people that found him did. The owner was apologetic but was this is not something that should ever happen when you are trusting someone with your dog. I want to make sure other people are aware because this experience was traumatizing. He made it all the way down the street to the library by the time we found him because good samaritans corralled him into the library. We're grateful he's okay but things could've have been much worse. Bottom line this should've never happened. read more

We had our sweet Shih Tsu, Harry groomed by Cat! she was amazing! Took her time and removed all his matts without shaving him! Great team- professional and personable! I thought the price was very good! I would highly recommend them!! read more

Ester has been an amazing find for us. Our 6 year old cockapoo was previously groomed by only me for years and is friendly but very skittish and annoying to groom. Esther is by far the best dog groomer I've ever been too. She gives a great haircut everytime to my little yorkie. I also think she has the best pricing in town. I have been taking my various dogs over a 18 yr. period to CDM Grooming. They have always been so loving to my dogs, even the nasty one that hated to be groomed. My latest dogs go often and always come home, happy,soft and pooped out from playing free with the other small dogs in the play area. Bigger dogs have their own play area. Love, Love, Love this place!! I have a whippet named Tiffany who has been going here for I'm pretty sure it's been 10 years. We used to live right in the neighborhood and since we moved away, I stil make the drive to bring her here for grooming, even though we have much closer places we could go. She loves them...they let her play with the other dogs while she waits for her turn for grooming. Then comes out smelling and looking great.
