My absolute favorite thing about this place is their dryers. Dirty Dog Wash has the strongest dryers I've ever used in a doggy wash and I absolutely love the conditioning products they offer. Ive also never had to groom my golden but I've seen them groom dogs there and they make them look incredible!! I would definitely trust this shop and team if I wanted to get Kealoha groomed. Anyone familiar with the Akita breed knows they can be strong-willed and have very distinct personalities. Our boy definitely lets you know when he's unhappy about something. While he has never bitten anyone, he is very vocal and communicative when he doesn't like being handled. Despite his temperament, the team at Lucky Paws has always treated him with patience, professionalism, and care. They understand his personality, work with him calmly, and consistently do a great job grooming him. It's not easy finding people you trust with a large breed dog, especially one with a mind of his own, but we've never had concerns leaving him in their care. After nearly 7 years, we're grateful for the kindness and dedication they've shown our dog. We highly recommend Lucky Paws to anyone looking for experienced groomers who truly care about the animals they work with.

My husband got in contact with LeNay about pricing and LeNay encouraged us to bring the pups for an evaluation with Andrea. We went and met with Andrea and immediately I fell in love. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. There was no smell and the facility was spotless. It was a huge difference from the last place we went to. Andrea spent over an hour with us evaluating the dogs and talking about how they run their daycare. Andrea explained that they like to take the dogs on 2-3 walks when they are at the daycare full day. Andrea asked us to go on a walk with the dogs so she can evaluate how they are on leash. I really appreciated the thorough evaluation because it made me feel that Andrea cared about our dogs and that every other dog that will be coming into the facility will be appropriate. Andrea told us since they are new they are offering 1st daycare for free so we tried them out and decided to buy a 30 day pass. So for we've taken the dogs 3 times and really appreciate Andrea & Brittany. Andrea texts my husband throughout the day and gives us updates about the dogs. I would HIGHLY recommend Ruff Life for pawrents who need a trustworthy place to drop of their dogs. They also offer grooming and baths at a great price. I can't wait for their hours to extend so we can start dropping them off on the weekends :)

It's great socialization for her to play with her kind and great for us that evening at least...it's like a free night for the hubby and me because she just sleeps. haha. Puppies have so much energy! He got two ear infections, paws red itchy, and bloody. He seemed traumatized and very ill. I took him to the vet and they had put him on antibiotics, they gave him steroids and allergy shots and it's still 16 days after and his paws are not healed and my puppy is getting worse and lots and lots of vet bills. It is worth it to pay for a dog sitter.

1st off a groomer by the name of Bill Le tried to attack me when I called out the careless grooming he performed on my dog. If he didn't have his coworkers holding him back he would be facing assault charges. I brought my dog Zoe to Butter Paws on Adams and Brookhurst for grooming and requested dematting as an extra service. The main areas I was concerned about were behind her ears and under her arms, along with a sanitary trim. When they first brought Zoe out, she still had mats, even though dematting was one of the main services I had specifically requested. I pointed this out because that was the whole reason I asked for the extra dematting service. After I pointed out that Zoe still had mats, they told me they would need to use clippers because some of the mats could not be brushed out. I understood that and agreed to it. My issue is not that they used clippers. My issue is how unprofessional the finished work looked. I expected a professional groomer to clip out the problem areas as cleanly as possible and blend the coat so it did not look butchered. Instead, parts of Zoe's coat looked like a hack job. The hair was uneven, choppy, and unblended, with different lengths all over the area and no layering or styling to make it look finished. It looked like they just clipped into her coat and left it that way. The worst area was on her back, which was not the main area I had been concerned about. The cut looked patchy, clunky, and unfinished. It did not look like professional grooming. The sanitary trim also looked rough and uneven. To be fair, they ultimately did not charge me for the cut, bath, dematting, or other services, and I appreciated that. But the final result was still unacceptable. The customer service afterward made the situation worse. When I complained, the male groomer who worked on Zoe became angry and confrontational. From my perspective, the situation felt unsafe, and staff had to step in. That is not how a business should handle a customer who is upset about the condition of their dog. Based on the grooming result, the poor handling of the dematting, the unprofessional clipper work, and the way my complaint was handled, I would not bring my dog back to Butter Paws and cannot recommend them. read more

I recently brought my dog, Mr. Blue, in for a grooming appointment and was incredibly impressed with the quality of his haircut. The team did such a fantastic job that I returned the very next day with my other dog for a nail trim. I typically struggle to trim her nails at home, as she gets anxious and upset, but the staff handled her with such care and professionalism that she didn't even whimper. It's clear they are highly experienced and truly care about the animals they work with. I'll absolutely be returning regularly. Turbo has experienced such anxiety with grooming in the past, not with Sara!!! She made Turbo feel comfortable and safe the entire time. He looked amazing, and my dog came out happy and relaxed.
