So the shipping was was extremely fast which would have been awesome if they had actually shipped my whole order. I ordered a rifle and a handgun + an extra magazine and only the handgun was delivered. I sent an email for assistance and the response was contact another department. I contact the other department and the guy says "I only show you ordered a handgun." So I offer to give him the order number and he rapidly says "let me transfer you to another department" and in a split second i'm hearing hold music. The lady (Lauren) that picks up shortly after asks for the order number and then asks if i'd received any cancellation notices. Don't think i'd be calling after my merchandise if I had, but I just tell her no i've only received the confirmation and shipping emails + the welcome to CDNN email. She then looks into it and eventually says yea, it looks like we screwed up (not in those words) and says my order should ship today. No offer of anything for my troubles and I didn't ask. Terrible first impression. I was very much looking forward to going to the range this weekend, but that is likely ruined. Not likely i'll try them again, but not ruling it out. 30% chance. UPDATE: Tentatively adding a star (3 stars now): I decided to call back and see if they could upgrade the shipping so at least my weekend plans wouldn't be ruined. The lady - Michelle - stated the next day air option would be "a little extreme" and I said I understand that, i'm not being unreasonable (as in not demanding), i'm just asking if anything is possible. She said she would see what they could do and if she couldn't do next day she would see about refunding the shipping charge. UPDATE 2: Shipping refunded. UPDATE 3 (Final): Down to 1 star. The FFL sent me a photo of the handgun and it is the correct gun, but does not match the pictures on the site. I ordered the gun partially due to the look - it's not a hard thing to put a picture up of the thing you're selling. I spoke to Seth about that who was exceptionally rude. None of the other staff were rude to their credit. They finally shipped my item with standard slow shipping that will take a week+ rather than the 2 day air they used to ship the one item they actually sent and the option they should have used since they screwed up my order. I have purchased quite a few things from CDNN. The best buys were knives that were still in a package. Good deal and good knives. That's where the good ends and all the bad begins. EVERY GUN I have bought from these guys has not been up to par. They misrepresent what they sell. I bought a brand new Ruger GP 100 44 Special that looked like it had been used (Powder residue in all cylinders and the barrel. A ring mark already on the cylinder - how does that happen with a new gun? I bought a Ruger M77 22 mag in walnut stock. The stock finish was not correct. There were missed spots on the stock where the finish was extremely poor. I contacted CDNN on both of these issues and they truly didn't care. The last pistol I bought from them was a used Sig Sauer that they misrepresented in their description by model AND condition. I keep getting suckered into these guys by good pricing but keep getting what I would consider factory seconds. I have ended my subscription to the email blasts. I will no longer buy anything from CDNN. In my opinion they are dishonest and do not understand what good customer service is. read more

I was referred to this online site (also have a retail store in Abilene, from what I understand) by a gun forum. They truly have great prices on the items that they sell. I signed up for their email list. Upon seeing a great price on their newsletter/ad, I ordered a Remington .22 LR for the range. I live in Southern California. The next morning after I ordered it, I received a "CANNOT SHIP to California email notification due to "store policy" on shipping "semi-automatic" firearms to California. Okay, I said, this is their loss... In another email ad, I saw a .22 LR Ruger target pistol that I had wanted, again for the range for a great price. I ordered it. Again, the next morning, another "CANNOT SHIP" email was received with the reason given that store policy prohibits shipping "handguns" to California! I understand their right to refuse to ship firearms to any state they deem necessary. What they should do is simply state their store policies in their ads. This way no one's time is wasted and customers can keep their money in their bank accounts instead of having them "float" customer's funds... By the way, nowhere in their ad do they specify the "no shipping to California" store policy. Needless to say, I am finished with this dealer. I have since placed a filter on my incoming email deleting their email ads before they ever hit my Inbox. read more

Bought a Sig P229 from CDNN. The gun arrived very quickly, but upon receiving it, the gun was inaccurate (after testing with multiple shooters, and multiple other sigs). When I called Sig Sauer to have the gun sent back, Sig informed me, this gun was sold in 2011 to a Law Enforcement Agency in Arizona. The gun I purchased was not labeled or shown to be used in any way, so I was a bit surprised. Now I have to send the gun to Sig to be fixed. If it had been labeled as a used firearm I would not be so surprised and disappointed, as I have purchased their used P226 sigs. Makes me question the validity of any other new purchase from them. read more

I am writing this negative review because I was lied to by CDNN sports. I placed an order, they sent it to the wrong address. So after two weeks of waiting, they would not reissue the package until I swore under penalty that I didnt reveive it (even though it was on record they sent it to the wrong address). For my hassle, they said they would return my 10 dollar shipping fee. So two weeks after all this, Still no tracking number, still no 10 dollar credit. Another morning spent on the phone. They then tell me that since they are reissuing the package, that they are not going to return the shipping fee. CDNN seems to have ok deals, but alot of their accesories are garbage. Found these guys on line. I live in south fl. They sent me email specials, found some guns that interested me. I called and spoke to a salesman, very helpful. They had the LWRC M6 SL 5.56 AR15 for 1299.00. It also came with a Ruger 10/22LR carbine at no charge and an extra 25rd mag included. The LWRC also came with 2 42rd promags as well. Everything shipped to my FFL dealer with no problems. I then put a 2nd order in for a ruger mark 3 22lr and 22lr ruger10/22 stainless , again no oroblems. I did however not receive my 1st 25rd magazine . I called them and filled out a missing on delivery form. I just received the magazine this morning priority mail. They handled everything professionally and most importantly they do what they say. I will be ordering again and have referred people to them. The 1 salesman is Colter and spoke with Owen also. The only reason i'm not giving 5 stars is because they have some deceptive wording on their website that needs to be changed. They state if you are shipping your weapon to a preferred FFL dealer they already have the current information on file, this was a lie. I had to wait another week and a half to receive my item because it had to be shipped back to them and re-sent, some sort of shipping discount/credit would have been nice. That being said, Michelle from customer service was very helpful in resolving the issue, the gun is absolutely prefect and the price was great. I would definitely order from them again. This was my experience indeed as good an online gun seller as could be expected. I was worried after reading some yelp reviews. My Sig P-250 22 LR shipped with 2 magazines and as promptly as could be expected with the New Year holiday and weather. My only criticism is minor and since I call and check not and issue for me. A second email could be sent out when an order ships with a tracking number if you wanted to be like ammo sellers. I found a magazine I had been needing for quite some time for my ruger sr40. I tried to get from a different company, but forgot to add it into my shopping list at the last minute. I found this site to be out of Abilene, Texas. I live north of Houston so it was a quick turn around for getting the magazine to my house quickly. This was during the holiday season a week and half before xmas. Ordered on Tuesday and received USPS on Saturday. I DIDNT have a bad experience like other listed. Wish I could give zero stars. Have done about 5 orders with them and had 2 issues. Customer service was very poor to say the least. Last issue was a mag holder that showed up without the tool for retention and looked used. Called and asked if they could ship the tool and I was told "absolutley not". I then requested to return it and the guy started to get extremely angry. I was told to keep it and I would be refunded however they put me on a no resale list. After receiving the Ruger pistol I ordered from them with a large grind mark on the slide I ended up sending the gun back to Ruger at their request. I still don't have it back. After they charged my credit card it was then charged two more times. That made my side account over drawn (by $839). Then it pulled the money out of my family checking account - not cool Then I was billed $30 plus dollars for an overdraft fee. Fast forward to now and I still have no Ruger SR9C. I called CDNN about the triple billing and the guy on the phone suggested I contact my credit card company. No, "We're sorry" or "How can we make this better." So to conclude - CDNN sent me a gun Ruger wanted back (billed as new). Triple billed my credit card. Offered no solution or apology. I still have yet to fire the pistol. Their products/prices are ok, but a few minutes searching the webs will result in better prices and stock elsewhere... their customer service is anything but decent. If you MUST (and I do mean MUST) order from them, I recommend not using the credit card option through their website, but call them to order over the phone. If, god forbid, there is an error between your bank info on a CC purchase and what's entered into CDNN, be prepared to have double the funds held from your account, for a full 30 days (not the typical 7-10 or less most reputable businesses work with). Not because they can't help, but because they WON'T help you. I even reached out to their payment processing vendor, who gave me an article from their support site for the merchants who use them explaining my EXACT situation and how to resolve at the merchant level, which I forwarded to CDNN's Office Manager, and CDNN simply throws their hands up and says "it's not our problem, talk to your bank." However, my bank says the EXACT same thing is needed that CDNN's payment processing vendor article describes in detail. They just aren't willing to offer true customer service, and have lost business because of this series of interactions... all for the purchase of a magazine 2-pack that I found $20 cheaper elsewhere and had no problem ordering/receiving. read more

I ordered an LWRC AR15 upper but when I tried to pay, it said they can't ship it to WA State. Supposedly they have a policy they won't ship M16 Bolts to Washington; they are basing this on a misinterpretation of a law here in my state. I called them and spoke to someone who quoted me the policy and I asked to speak to a supervisor concerning this policy. They put me on hold for quite awhile and then told me that person would call me right back after they were off the phone. Not only did they not call me right back, they did not return my call at all. While I respect a company's own ability to do business how and with whom they want, at the same time, I was going to try to reason with them to try and update their policy. After all, aren't we 2nd amendment supporters supposed to stick together? While business may be good for them now and one customer from out of state might not be a priority, I feel others should know of my experience. Oh and by the way, I have been blasted with all of their advertising email so beware of that as well. i'll be fixing that. read more

Bought a 300 Blackout AR upper when it was on sale Black Friday. Super fast delivery. However, when I finally got it to the range, the rifle stopped cycling after 3-4 shots. Turns out the gas block was loose and shifted so no gas was reaching the tube. Since I didn't have the right tools, I had to take it to the gunsmith. Easy enough to fix, but it shouldn't have been necessary, and the gunsmith bill ate up the savings from the sale price. On the bright side, the barrel is extremely accurate with Remington UMC 120gr OTFB, which is some of the more affordable ammo out there. read more

I always found their deals to my liking. When I called to order a 1911, 22 caliber conversion kit my order was denied. CDNN stated that they do not ship semi-auto PARTS to California. I spoke with a manager who told me that CDNN as not going to ship semi-auto PARTS to several states because they're concerned about a "class action lawsuit"... I couldn't believe I heard such an ill informed statement from this manager. Selling semi-auto weapons or parts will insure a "class action lawsuit" ? I have shopped with them for above twenty years now, way before online ordering was the norm. In total I have purchased more than $1,000.00 of accessories from them. It's been a while, but recently I have been attracted to there prices again, and ordered some accessories for my Ar 308 and later ar 15. The first one came through without any issue. The second order they held and said that flash hiders were not permitted to be shipped to California. This irritated me, because obviously there is no reason flash hiders were restricted. Being a little pissed I emailed them with a little piece of my mind and reminded how come they didn't have any problem shipping another flash hider just a week before this. They retaliated by canceling my order totally not even sending the rest of my order. I called there number and asked to be transferred to the manager. I explained to her the issue and she said she knew about my email. She was first of all not professional when she spoke. She didn't appologize for the inconvenience she caused. Also, she didn't acknowledge my years of business. And didn't offer a resolution. Pretty much she didn't know anything about customer service. Cdnn wouldn't be here if it weren't for us. But, I guess they don't care about the customers. Why are we just giving away all our hard earned money to people that don't even care about giving us satisfaction. Sorry, but no thanks. Very friendly, fast secure service, substandard quality. Ive bought a couple barreled uppers, a few magazines, among other stuff. One upper was poorly assembled, resulting in a blemished upper by the time I got it rite, one magazine was a misprint, another factory glock magazine fit so loosely that it failed to feed correctly. I give them 2 stars because they are friendly, prices are great, just if the quality of the craftsmanship could only match the mood and prices, they'd get 5 stars, I don't really recommend ar15 parts to be purchased here, cheaper isn't always best read more

I recently bought a Sarsilmaz CM9 Gen 2 pistol from these guys. Shipping was prompt, but the crooks only include one magazine when the item comes from their distributor with two magazines. So they are taking a mag out and then acting like they are engaging in competitive pricing. I have verified this with the distributor too. So my advice is go elsewhere and read and you will actually be able to buy the firearm with two proper magazines at a lower total price. This is a pretty low and cheezy business practice in my book and therefore i wont be back. read more

The website design is one of the best among all online firearm retailers. The inventory and price are also among the best. I really like that they disclose the flat shipping fee upfront so customers know what the total spending will be before having to go through check out process. For firearm transfer, it is extremely easy and almost no paperwork faxing around if choosing one of their hundreds preferred FFL dealers. Ordered a build kit from CDNN that included a magazine in the kit price. It was a 30 round clip which is not legal in Maryland. I assumed they would either sub a 10 round magazine or credit the 30 round magazine. They did neither. They just don't send it. No sub, no credit. It does not state this policy when ordering. Poor business practice. It is not the cost, its the principle. I hope it is worth losing a new customer over. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

New Phosphate AR-15 magazines looked great on their website, very little wear on them, ordered some, and the phosphate on them looked worn off on most of them! The prices are great and the initial shipping was prompt, but if you have a problem their customer services is marginal at best. In my case they shipped the wrong rifle to my local FFL. I discovered this upon inspection before doing any of the paper work. I called CDNN Sports and was told that I would have to talk to the warehouse manage who was only available Monday-Friday 9am-3pm central standard time. This is difficult for most people that work. I called in the following Monday on my lunch hour and the warehouse manager was not available. I left a message. Someone called me back later asking questions that I could not answer as I was at work and the rifle at the local gun shop. The local gun shop called me later to inform me that CDNN was issuing a call tag and would replace the rifle with the correct one. The call tag was issued on a Tuesday and the rifle picked up. The correct item did not arrive before I left on vacation the following Saturday. I let the gun shop know that I would be out of town and would pick it up the following week when I returned. I called the gun shop on the next Monday (13 days after the rifle was went back) and was told it had not come in. I called CDNN to find out why it was taking so long and was told once again to call Monday-Friday 9am-3pm cst and talk to the warehouse manager. I once again called during my lunch hour to tell them to cancel the order and refund my money and was told that the rifle had just shipped the day before. It took 15 days to get the correct item after they carelessly shipped the wrong item. Now I am trying to get a manufacturers rebate that I may have missed out on do to a careless seller. If price is your only criteria than by all means purchase from CDNN Sports. In the future I will spend $25 more and buy from a more reputable dealer. read more
