Note to the manager, please have a talk with your front desk hostess ladies a little of pleasant attitude goes a long way. Sorry to mention that my wife and I had to actually leave, simply because of the horrendous attitude of the unpleasant young lady with an attitude of a frustrated 14 year old, that thinks that greeting and welcoming is beneath her and not worth her time. The rooftop idea is very good especially now that people like to be outdoors. We were a group of five ladies having some drinks and seemed like our waiter was in a rush to get us out. What a wonderful add to the 'hood! So happy this gem of a resto opened near my home. The drinks were on point (the pineapple tequila tingle one) along with the croquettas fundido, the corn ribs (wow) the crudos were fire, lobster rolls were also a hit, the bone marrow rabo lasted maybe 5 minutes with my crew, and my personal fave the squid ink crab linguini! Today was the first time we went, we were 2 couples and had a reservation. Upon being seated the waitress was immediately curt and not very friendly. She took our order as we advised her of our nut allergy (2 of the party of 4). She was very inattentive throughout our meal and recommended the brussel sprouts. Upon receiving the brussel sprouts, we luckily noticed all the walnuts in the dish. When we let her know she blamed the kitchen and barely apologized, needless to say she didn't even offer to remove from the bill or any other type of courtesy. The Tomahawk was delivered rare instead of medium after all the other food items were delivered. We didn't return as we were "done" at that point. It took a very long time for her to return so we could ask for the bill, including waving a fellow coworker down. When she came to the table she was once again rude in asking what we wanted now?! Unfortunately for such a beautiful location, the service and food were less than expected and we will not return. We still left a decent tip even though it wasn't earned or deserved. Let me start by saying the atmosphere & ambiance is great. The food is amazing BUT our group will NOT be returning. I'm a firm believer that good reviews are just as important as bad reviews and bad reviews need to be very specific. Our server was phenomenal! Educated with his menu, friendly and offered some great suggestion. Unfortunately the owner of the business NOT SO MUCH! Flat out rude is the only way to describe him. When we arrived are party had been seated and when we walked in to approach them he yelled at us "Hey! You! Where are you going" At first I didn't think he was talking to us but then we he said it a second time louder we turned and were shocked he was speaking to us like this. At this point we didn't know he was the owner. We advised him that our party had been seated already. He said nothing and walked away. Working in the business I try to understand especially now after the pandemic I know things are rough out there but it was very shocking. Our service was great as mentioned and the food but the owner put the cherry on the cake when we were getting ready to pay to leave. We came here for a business drinks & appetizer meet up let me mention this for hospitality. He was standing an angle from my chair and he pulled a server (who was not our server) and said "Can you get them their fucking check now! I need the fucking table!" I thought it was just me that heard him but when I turned a few other tables were looking and we all looked at each other shock. At the same moment a couple was approaching the bar that was located behind me and he again said "Hey! you where are you going!" The couple responded to the bar and he said the bar is closed you need to leave or wait for your table" We did ask a few employees and apparently this is who he is and I'm not here to change anyone but to enlighten you this man's behavior as a business owner in hospitality. When we left and were in the elevator we heard other commenting on his poor attitude and how they would not be retuning or only come if other invite them out of courtesy to their friend/family. My family & I just had an amazing time at Cebada Rooftop for their first Sunday night open! What can we say besides amazing. We ordered several items to try...the corn ribs are delicious & very creative. We loved the mussels (just wish they came with toast, we asked for some, and were pleasantly rewarded, but it should just come with the dish to sop up the yummy broth), the mushroom croquettas are by far the family favorite; unexpectedly flavorful & creamy, a real treat. We also shared the gnocchi, which was amazing. The chef was kind enough to prepare some basic fettuccine with garlic & butter for the kids which they devoured. Our server Sam was sweet & very helpful when we were making our selections. She was fun to talk to & we enjoyed conversing with her. She felt like a friend by the end of the night. To finish the night we had amazing espressos & the bread pudding that Sam said was phenomenal, she wasn't kidding. Our final complement is the live jazz band. Nick Mason and his group played all the hits with a jazz theme, and it was so fun to hear the songs in a different mode. I have never been treated so badly at a restaurant. I made reservations to go tonight with my husband for our wedding anniversary. We even paid for a babysitter to enjoy our night together that we don't get many of nowadays. I kept calling the restaurant to let them know that we were running late and we couldn't find parking , but no answer. I received a text that our table was ready and asking if we were on our way so I replied back and it said ok we will be waiting for you. When we get there the manager maylin greeted us with Im sorry but you are 30 minutes late so we can't sit you tonight at all. My husband explained and he said please it's our wedding anniversary and without any empathy she said nope sorry but if you want sit by the railing. We basically meant nothing to this restaurant which shows what horrible customer service they have. It's a Wednesday night and there was open tables and when I searched on opentable they had many openings. I asked to speak to the owner Jorge who was there and she came back and said nope he can't speak to you tonight. We all work too hard for our money and I'm glad they showed their true colors because we will never go spend our money at this restaurant. I will share this horrible experience with all my family and friends. Great job! I attached pictures to show the empty tables and the open reservations they had. Clearly the manager was in a horrible mood and just wanted to ruin our night. She could have told us hey! I have some openings later in the night if you can wait I'll sit you later. This restaurant gets a 5 star rating for service with my server Mauro alone. My experience with the "manager" Annette wasn't too pleasant. I purposely won't go into details because Mauro turned the entire experience around. Annette needs to be retrained on how she can Effectively communicate with her customers. Tone plays a HUGE role in the customer service experience. Never be "too busy" to address a customer. Overall aside from Annette, the experience, vibe, drinks, and food were truly amazing. Went to dinner tonight with 4 other people, we all were there on time. Sat at the table for 10 minutes before our waitress came up to us and asked us what we wanted to drink. She was not friendly or asked us if we understood the menu. Once she dropped off the cocktails we asked her how the menu worked she said well we tell everyone to order at least two small plates. Two small plates is $30 for one piece of food each. My husband ordered the King Crab, the waitress said it was a claw it was more like 1 finger cut up in 3 pieces for $38, which was crap. $500 later we get the bill and there's a 20% gratuity added which we were not informed about it by anyone. No wonder our waitress didn't pay attention to us she knew she was going to get a 20% tip no matter what. We told her it would have been nice if we were informed and she said it's on our website, looked it up in front of her and it was not. Horrible service, decent yet very expensive for Tapas. I would only recommend this place for a quick place to grab some apps and go get a real meal somewhere else! read more

This spot is great! It's a Wynwood vibe but it's in Coral Gables. The rooftop offers a variety of table seating and hangout seating. Roughly a third of the tables are under cover. The bar selection is wonderful and the food is incredible. Enjoy! read more

You need to change the "sitting only" policy. It's not very socially conducive for an outdoor bar.

I really wanted to give this very charming and energetic place a five star review. But sadly, could not. The first time I went, I had a marvelous time with two close friends. It was not very packed. However, I found the cocktails too watered down and the food very overpriced, but it was very good that first night. The ambience in a calm, quiet atmosphere on a cool night: you can't beat it. I was really looking forward to my second visit. Boy, did things change. I called three days ahead to make reservations for a Friday night. It was a beautiful night and I couldn't wait to be on the rooftop. The place was over-packed, and despite our reservations we were relegated to a table inside by the bathroom (the bathroom facilities are completely inadequate and the line would often run past our table). The menu had changed from my first visit and I couldn't find an adequate meal beyond appetizers. The croquetas at $16 were no better than what I can get for $1 down the street at Versailles. Again, the cocktails were watered down. (Always go with a wine bottle.) The food was just ok although I must say that their oysters are remarkably fresh. But that second visit was an absolute disaster though our server went above and beyond. This is great location but so many things need to be tweaked to make it the epic place that it could be. The servers are excellent, the locale is perfect on a clear night, but fix the drink situation and the overpriced food situation because it'll be a while before I go back again. read more
