    Macho Matchado

I love this place. Starting with my drink the Macho Matchado...just get it. It's bubbly, refreshing, foamy, and matcha-y all at once and in the best way. An absolute must try appetizer is the Cuban Panzanella. What I liked about this dish is the use of croutons and since everything was cut in small cubes...you could easily curate the perfect bite. We shared all the entrees and while this is arguably the best way to try as many things as we can...I did not want to share the raviolo. It was honestly too good to share. Dessert was the olive oil cake...the salty for the pistachio perfectly complimented the ricotta honey ice cream. The restaurant is small without being cramped and the service was great!

Tin Tin, an exciting new restaurant opening in the heart of Little Havana. It's been open now since right before Christmas so about two months only. It's suppose to be like a creative fusion of Cuban flavors infused with French and Italian influences. As the big sister to the beloved Tinta y Café which a local favorite I knew I had to give this one a try! We started off with cocktails that were originally a February special, but after being such a hit, they stayed on the menu for another month. I went with the Roxanne, a vodka based drink with cherry notes and a foam on top that was perfectly balanced and incredibly refreshing. For appetizers, we couldn't decide and ended up sharing both the "Cuban Sandwich" Wagyu Beef Carpaccio and the Tuna Carpaccio. Each offered their own unique flavors. The beef carpaccio had this amazing crunch from a sazon completo topping with a hint of Dijon, while the tuna carpaccio was light, tangy, and super fresh. For entrees, we ordered the Ibérico Duroc Pork Chop served with the creamiest most delicious yuca puree and the Ropa Vieja Raviolo. Both absolutely delicious and full of rich flavors. And of course, we couldn't leave without trying the traditional Tinta flan for dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish.

The homepage for Tin Tin states: As the big sister restaurant to the beloved Tinta Y Cafe, Tin Tin promises an elevated dining experience for food enthusiasts. After having dined at Tin Tin, I have to 10000% agree with this statement! Everything from the service, to the drinks, to the food was so amazing! We ordered: *cuban panzanella- heirloom tomatoes, toasted bread, crispy pork belly, pickled red onion, mojo vinaigrette *wahoo crudo- wahoo, sweet potato relish, crispy canchitas, coconut leche de tigre *malanga gnocchi cacio e pepe *confit potatoes *bone marrow butter *labneh The bone marrow was spectacular, literally spreadable like butter and so rich and flavorful. Every dish was beautifully done and full of flavor. The food is such a creative blend of Cuban flavors influenced by French & Italian cuisine. For cocktails we tried the Clarita Guayabita, Josefina Martin Gallo, and the Rubi Rosales. The first two were very good, but the Rubi Rosales I probably wouldn't order again, a little too sweet for me. Since I love a good Happy Hour, I have to mention the details: It's every day from 4 to 7pm. All signature cocktails are $13 instead of $16. Rose and Brut are $10-$11. Red and white wines from $10-$16. Croquetas are $2 each or 5 for $9. Charcuterie its 3 items for $12, 5 items for $15, or 6 items for $18. Cuban panzanella $12 (smaller portion than the dinner portion). Wahoo crudo $13 (smaller portion than the dinner portion). Labneh $12 I really hope they do well, I love everything the Tinta y Cafe family creates and this feels like such a special addition. Definitely worth going back to try more!

Yes. Yes. Yes. Incredible spot and an absolute must-try. The menu is small, but every dish is packed with flavor -- truly no misses. Appetizers: the "Cuban sandwich," Wagyu beef carpaccio, and wahoo crudo were all standouts -- fresh, balanced, and memorable. Entrées: the malanga gnocchi cacio e pepe was unreal, the half chicken was shockingly juicy, and both the red snapper and ribeye were cooked to perfection. You must finish with a cafecito and their famous flan. An outstanding experience from start to finish at Tin Tin.

Yummy! If you are looking for bougie Cuban food, look no further! They are the same owners from Tinta y cafe. The food was great!

I was really looking forward to this place and hoping that it was going to live up to the hype, but it fell short (in ways they still have time to grow). The greet was great! Sophie had a nice table for us and some complimentary drinks to welcome us for our celebration. We had cocktails and mocktails and they were great! The bartender doesn't miss a beat. The chef brought us a palate cleanser which was sweet. To start, we had the ceviche and the ham and bacalao croquettes. These were items from the happy hour menu and that was good to see it offered anywhere in the restaurant (the ambiance was on point, beautiful and very well decorated). The ceviche was great but the croquettes fell short. They were filled with meat but something with the flavor was slightly off. For a main course, we had the fish (10/10), the pork (10/10) and the risotto (7/10). The flavors were great on the pork and fish, but the risotto was slightly bland. The dessert was an olive cake with an orange marmalade at the bottom and in between. It was dry and that feedback was shared. Our waters were never refilled and it just seemed like something they shouldn't miss. The citrus forward concept works for those who love that, but for me, I'm not a fan. My overall rating was a 3.7. I'll check them out again, because I think this place has a lot to offer. Check them out and enjoy!

Great new Cuban fusion from the same people behind Tinta y Cafe. Menu is small allowing for focused craft food. Our party had the Malanga and Shrimp bisque (perfectly cooked shrimp!), Cuban Panzanella, Pargo Rojo, Pork Chop, and the gnocchi. Every plate was cleaned by end of service. Desserts were very good. The signature cocktails were 50/50 at our table, but nothing was sent back, just not reordered. Restaurant is a little noisy, but overall tremendous value with meter parking lot around the back. Highly recommend if looking for an affordable and well prepared dinner in Miami.

This new neighborhood spot did not disappoint! Every dish uniquely prepared/thought out with Cuban influence. Some standout plates were the beef carpaccio and pork chop. Do not miss out on trying the cream yuca, it's crazy good!!

Going to Tin Tin feels like getting a sneak peak to the next best icon in Miami. As a fan of Tinta y Cafe for years, I was excited to try their new venture but I didn't expect that it would surpass not only every expectation but easily become one of my favorite spots in town. Everything we ate was phenomenal and the team, especially our server, Laura, was beyond wonderful. The vibe is nice but not pretentious, feels the way Tinta makes you feel - like you're having the best home cooked meal, made with love and attention, in your family home.

Great service with nice atmosphere on 8th street. The food itself was ok, but way overpriced for what they serve.

The best part is that you come in through a red phone booth. Once you make a reservation, they give you a phone number to dial in and then it opens! A total experience.

I thought for a moment, paid the cover, and walked in. The music was pretty good. The place was not full, this was probably some underground event. I got a cocktail to try, it was pretty good but cocktails and punk don't match, so I switched to cheap bear when I was done. It's a cool venue, close to me, and the staff was very friendly. I used to go to the club in my college years. After the hotel was sold, the club moved to the Rocky Horror venue in Coconut Grove. In 1999 after that closed too, the club became a roaming pop up at different South Florida venues. Which is how I came to be at Bar Nancy in Little Havana on a Saturday night. They host a monthly Kitchen Club night. Almost everything was closed in Little Havana by the time I arrived so it was surprisingly easy to find metered street parking only two blocks away. Bar Nancy did not have a cover charge which was nice. The bar is decorated like a pirate ship with many nautical touches. It is named for the brigantine Nancy, which transported war supplies during the American Revolution. The room the bar is located in was small, dark, hot, and crowded. Many people enjoyed themselves on the dance floor in front of the DJ. They also have a backyard area that was popular. My favorite room was the one between the two. It was decorated like the Captains quarters with a couch and comfortable chairs. I could still enjoy the music and more importantly, the air conditioning. During the night I had a delicious Amaretto Sour. Despite the dive bar surroundings, it was a hefty $15. While that is expensive for a cocktail, it was a small price to pay to relive my youth for one evening.

My seabass was so yummy, and some of the highlights of the night were the Truffle Tuna Tartine, Lobster Roll, Spicy Tartare de Saumon, and Mezze Prince ~ every single dish was outstanding. And my drink, the Summer Layla, was SO good! I love Mediterranean food and Arabic culture, so this place was the perfect combination for me.
