Tried a salad, scallops, steak, asparagus, and au gratin potatoes. Every dish was great, steak was cooked to temp, but the gratin potatoes stole the show- so cheesy and savory- do not skip that dish! The service was good and atmosphere is nice

The place is beautiful, dark walls and decoration but gives a nice feeling. Service was spotless, nothing to complain about. Regular and coconut margarita were good. Butter herbs and bread that are served before the meal were delicious. Steak chicharon was really flavorful. Pork chops were just okay, nothing wow, sweet potato underneath was very good. Steak was tasty. Mac and cheese a little salty, but good. Dubai lava cake was a shame, I was expecting a great taste of chocolate and pistachio, but unfortunately I did not receive that.

An extraordinary dining experience is offered at RO Steakhouse. The ambiance is subdued, elegant, and comfortable. The design is unique in that there are small defined dining areas, as opposed to one large room. This enhances the intimacy and the ultimate noise pollution (acoustics) of larger spaces. Also note the most comfortable seating that we have experienced in ages! The service: every staff member played a key roll in making our dining experience memorable: you couldn't ask for better. The beef wellington was a dream come true. Without challenge in Miami; it was the best in our city. Perfectly served medium rare, melt in your mouth tender, the crust golden brown and the mushroom lining sublime. Our party also enjoyed the Cafe Crusted NY steak which was really unique, subtle and also tender prime meat. The appetizer of Ribeye Chicharron was excellent. It is a must order. The tuna tatami was very, very good as well. The wedge salad fed five people! All of the side dishes deserve raves as well. All-in-all an experience to be repeated again. Highly recommend! Oh, kudos to manager Brittany who adjusted the hidden music speakers in our seating area to a low volume which really enabled our party of six to engage in real dinner time conversations.

This is a nice date night spot. The vibes are very chic with lit up walls, dim lights and comfortable seating. The music was pretty loud, upbeat house music, which I liked because I couldn't hear other people's conversations and was able to just vibe. The buzz about this place must still be pretty strong because even with reservations, everyone was asked to wait for tables to clear up. The hostesses kept trying to push the empty outside patio to people and offered the bar as a waiting spot. My husband and I opted to wait at the bar. We sat for a good while and were never acknowledged. After waiting about fifteen minutes or so, we went back to wait for our table to open up sans drinks. Once seated, however, our waitress was very attentive. I believe her name was Tess. We ordered cocktails which were DELICIOUS and two appetizers; the ribeye chicharrón and the bone marrow. They were pretty good, nothing out of this world, but definitely good. Although this restaurant is a steakhouse, their sides were the stars of the night. The Parmesan Truffle Potatoes Au Gratin were absolutely delicious and so was the macaroni! The steaks didn't really measure up to the sides! We got the cafe crusted steak and the ribeye. They were OK. The ribeye wasn't as thick as I normally like it and the fat was a little tough. We were stuffed after eating so many things that dessert wasn't even an option for us, but the restaurant kindly surprised us with a little anniversary dessert. It was such a nice touch and the presentation was beautiful. Overall, I enjoyed this as a date night spot more than anything. The drinks are great, the vibe is great, the playlist is great, and the location is ideal.

Rackson was amazing! He was attentive, kind and friendly. This was our first opportunity visiting Ro. We had been recommended to come and give them a try and I'm so happy we did. We had plenty of dishes; oysters, scallops, rib eye chicarrones, Wellington, Café Rubbed NY Strip, Corn dessert, a delicious bottle of wine, dirty martinis and sidecar cocktails. Great vibe with lots of energy!

Dear friends took my husband and I went to RO Steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary and we were honestly beyond impressed! From check-in, to service, to the food, five stars all around. The martinis were perfectly made, which I really appreciate, and everything we ordered just kept getting better. We tried the branzino and the ribeye chicharrón, and while both were great, the ribeye was definitely the star. We also had the RO Cowboy steak. It comes with two generous pieces of delicious bone marrow. We asked for it cooked medium, and it came out PERFECT. Amazing seasoning, incredible quality, and easily some of the best cut of meat we've had. The sides were just as good. The potato au gratin was rich, creamy, and honestly addictive. The truffle risotto was superb! I wish I had space for more and more, but had to make room for dessert. Dessert completely sealed the deal. Our server recommended the corn-shaped dessert and WOW. It looks exactly like corn but tastes like sweet corn with dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream inside. So unique, slightly mind-blowing, and absolutely delicious. I'd order it again without hesitation. And somehow, the Basque cheesecake was even yummier. So, so good. Overall, this was the PERFECT place to celebrate a special occasion and we will 100% be back.

Birthday Dinner made beautiful. I went to Ro Steakouse for my birthday this year. The ambiance in the restaurant is so nice. It's very sultry and cozy. I loved the decor. And the bathroom was so nice too. The food and drinks were amazing. The scallops were cooked to perfection! We still talk about those scallops months later because they were that good!! Our steak was delicious but we didn't need to bone marrow honestly. It didn't add anything for the experience other than the price. Service was so friendly and made me feel special. I would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Miami.

Guac

Great vibe. Dimly lit. The bar is cool and has a fire element. Guac was tasty and fresh. My ribeye was good but the cafe crust New York was amazing. Would definitely get that again. The potatoes au gratin with truffle and Mac n cheese were great sides. Portions are very big and you will leave full. Their bread and butter they start you off with was also yummy. Spicy marg is tasty and very spicy. The pricing is very well. Would come back!

Truffle Potatoes Au Gratin
Jeff G.

All ambiance, no substance. That's how I would describe the dining experience we encountered here. Drinks were good, probably the only thing of note. Food was pretty mediocre, the Ribeye Chicharron appetizer looked good but was essentially overcooked meat on top of guac, with a side of tiny tortillas. My New York strip also looked great but also lacked flavor, the roasted garlic and steak sauce were doing the majority of the heavy lifting. And then there was the truffled potatoes au gratin; picture perfect, but were really swimming in an oily broken cheese sauce beneath the crust. I spared you the image. Service was adequate but became snippy when a misunderstanding came up when the bill was asked to be split. Considering that this place isn't cheap and there's plenty of other options in the area, consider those first.

Sabrina F.

Was pleasantly surprised by this new restaurant! The ambiance and attention to detail in the decor make you feel like you're in a luxurious place. The service was good, but it was hard to track down our waiter since we were sitting far from everyone else at the restaurant. Now the food was delicious! All the appetizers we ordered were very flavorful and fresh! I even got to try their tuna dish and steak. I highly recommend both, but definitely do the steak over fish since it is a stake house! I like that there are a lot of options for cocktails and most of the ones I tried were very good! Great spot for a date night or special occasion!

An unexpected business dinner was scheduled at RO and when I saw the address I was surprised as I live in the area and had never heard of scene it, needless to say I was pleasantly surprised.. The decor, ambience and food were excellent !! I had a late lunch as I didn't I'd be going out for dinner, as did some other guests so we only ordered apps... what we did order was excellent and the wine list goes from a $3K bottle of wine to a reasonable one at just $85, for miami that's a great option to have. If you're looking for a new steakhouse in the gables with an amazing bar, ambiance and food, don't miss out..

Gaby R.

Was excited to try this new Mexican steakhouse especially for their Wagyu on the stone dish. Unfortunately, they had run out by the time we arrived, which was surprising for a Wednesday night, not even a weekend. Disappointing, to say the least. We ended up ordering the cowboy steak instead, and it absolutely did not disappoint. It came with bone marrow, was super tender, and perfectly cooked. We paired it with truffle gratin potatoes, which complemented the steak beautifully. For starters, we tried the ribeye chicharron, rock shrimp, and oysters which were all very good . For dessert, we went with their signature corn illusion ice cream filled with dulce de leche. It had a very unique and acquired flavor. Not necessarily my favorite, but still interesting to try. We also learned about their weekday lunch special $35 for an appetizer entre and one side of your choice , which includes the skirt steak as an option. That's a deal worth coming back for. The space itself is beautifully decorated inside, with a stylish, upscale feel that makes it perfect for a night out. The bar area is super cool too, and the fake fire illusion adds a fun and eyecatching touch to the ambiance.

Jesse V.

You can valet, street parking, or find a nearby parking garage. Location looks really nice and has a bar inside. Staff was friendly in my experience and attentive. The bread and butter at the beginning is nice since other places now tend to charge for bread. The flaming cheese, filet, and spicy rigatoni was good. The corn dessert was unique. I can't even describe the taste but I think it was good. I think the prices were good for being a Miami steakhouse. I think the quality was the same as a Daniels or Sunnys but better pricing so would definitely come back. I think its worth it. Albeit that they might have different takes on dishes or have some different offerings.

Steak so soft, so tender it melts in your mouth. My go-to is the New York Strip Flight dish, love the variety of the 3 cuts of steak (also really nice to share with some sides if you aren't too hungry) I got this with loaded whipped potatoes and it was very cheesy and creamy! If you don't love ALOT of cheese, maybe do the cheese on the side, for me though, it's perfect. I also tried out the pan seared sea bass and it's one of the best I've had, the fish was cooked to perfection and was flakey. So much flavor underneath with the corn it made an incredible pair. The pavlova sounded much more exciting than it actually was. It was overwhelmingly sweet, and everything on the plate (the vanilla ice cream, vanilla pavlova, and vanilla whipped cream) had nearly the same flavor, color, and texture. It ended up feeling very one-note and lacked the contrast and freshness that makes a great pavlova memorable. Overall, I'll keep coming back again and again.
