I called 4 Star Plumbing around 1:30 pm and by 2:20 p.m. they had someone at my house. Derek was very nice and I felt horrible for him to climb the roof in this heat. Word of advice: ask for the price ahead of time so you don't have a sticker shock. It cost $500 to snake two pipes they... the cost is the same for one or two or three pipes if they have to get on your roof that's the cost. If you know where your cleanout is it is slightly cheaper. Derek asked me where they sneaked it last time and I told him that they came down the roof. The entire process took about an hour Derek took his time, ran the water, snaked again, Etc. I also asked them for an estimate for a water heater and replacement of cast iron pipes. Besides the sticker shock, I was very impressed by their services! Quick and efficient with no extra fees to come out...one sticker price. Let's face it everything is more expensive now so since they came out so quickly I feel it was worth the money. If you want to shop around... maybe this service would have been cheaper with another company. I've never had a bad experience with 4 Star Plumbing so I highly recommend them for any job.

Despite that work, the problems continued and I experienced additional backups within weeks. I ultimately hired another licensed plumbing company to investigate further. Their camera inspection and subsequent excavation found significant issues beneath the home, including approximately 10-15 feet of improperly pitched sewer line that required correction during a complete under-slab sewer replacement. As a homeowner, I relied on 4 Star's expertise to properly diagnose and resolve the issue. Instead, I spent thousands of dollars, suffered water damage, disrupted my tenants, and ultimately had to move forward with a major sewer replacement project through another contractor. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability when I raised my concerns. I understand that underground plumbing issues can be complex, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend 4 Star Plumbing. I would strongly encourage homeowners to obtain multiple inspections and opinions before proceeding with expensive sewer repairs.

Company wasted two weeks of our life. We were later provided a quote that literally left out every-single-repair we needed and was $1000-$2000 to have our pipes scoped and cleaned. Being that we just bought the house this was not at all what we needed. We should have cut the cord but we continued due to needing the shower faucets and sink stoppers repaired along with the sinks caulked and wanting to get these fixed sooner versus later. We then got another estimate that only noted the faucets so we called again and where told the sink at least was included (but we never got a clear answer) We were told it would take a few days (3 days) because the faucets were no longer being produced and would have to be ordered. I said that was fine and we would see them in a few days. Well, a few days came and went and when WE finally were able to get someone on the phone we were told it would be a few more days but we were confirmed for Friday. Thursday we called to confirm and were told the plumber (Alex) would call me that night but we were 100% confirmed for the next day. He of course doesn't call so we call that Friday morning and he tells us he will be there by 12:30........ 2:30 rolls around and he cancels and makes plans to be here today (Saturday) no later then 9:00am---at 11:00am we left them a voicemail that the cord was finally being cut which we should've done already. In short, if you are looking for an unreliable, inept, incompetent company that is ill-equipped to handle even the most basic of plumbing services and you want to call them 20+ times without getting a clear answer or concrete date/time of service.... well, this company is for you! If not, please don't waste your time! UPDATE: After the fiasco with Grand Rooter, we were referred to Terry's Plumbing who made themselves available that following Monday, arrived on-time, charged us half of what this company charged (including everything we needed that was seemingly lost in translation with this company) and completed the work that very day. He emailed me a proposal for $1500 to fix and replace the motor in the a/c and other parts. I called Anthony from All American Cooling and they came over instantly. The repairman looked at the a/c unit and fixed it in 10 min without replacing any parts for $200. I called and emailed Erica's plumbing and have never heard back.
