When Dr. Rachel took over Dr. Wrobel's practice, I wasn't sure what to expect, but she has been every bit as kind and patient--if not more so. She's had to do even more work, yet always takes the time to make my daughter feel safe and heard. At their very first appointment, Dr. Rachel removed her scrubs and mask, sat beside my daughter, and simply talked to her. My daughter was in tears before the cleaning even began, but Dr. Rachel gently walked her through every step, letting her hold "Mr. Thirsty" and explaining how each tool would feel. The entire staff at Platinum Dental is just as wonderful. The hygienists are so gentle and encouraging, and the reception team is always warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. We called around and read alot of reviews & the reviews that we read on Aina Haina Family Dental & Dr Yoo made him feel comfortable enough to make an appointment for a toothache. They were able to fit us in to look at his tooth the day we called. We found out the tooth ache was due to a very bad tooth and required a root canal. This elevated my son's anxiety but we went ahead with the root canal. One of the my sons biggest anxieties was about the needle they use for the anesthetic shot but the doctor numbed the area completely before the shot was even administered, so the shot was completely painless and made him feel comfortable. During the root canal procedure the doctor was very patient and told him at any time, if he needed a break, to let him know and they would take a break. He felt nothing during the entire procedure, no longer has a toothache and Dr Yoo has now has cured his fear of going to the dentist. Dr Yoo and his staff were very nice, welcoming, kind and patient. I called many times for additional details before the root canal with questions and never felt rushed or like I was bothering them, they answered all mine and my son's questions. Routine cleaning gone wrong:…read more 2/5 stars because the dentist did a pretty good job fixing a chipped tooth the first time I went in, but only 2/5 stars because I mostly go there for routine cleanings which kept getting worse and worse until I literally had to walk out half way through during my last cleaning. The hygienest didn't like when I asked her to skip the chit chat as she tends to talk my ear off and her whiplash to my request was very unpleasant. She was going off on a rant for ten minutes about random things before I had to cut her short and asked to just focus on the cleaning. She then became careless, apathetic, and mechanical while rushing to complete the job. Her metal toothpick abruptly punctured a gap between my teeth below the gum line prying them apart and separating the gap between my teeth even more which caused me a lot of pain. I immediately stood up and walked out. I was left with a major tooth ace, gum pain and a severe migraine for the rest of the day. In fact its been 12 hours and half my face is still throbbing in pain. I am left wondering if this what at all intentional?

She individualizes each person's procedure and listens to what end effect is desired. When that day came around Lily numbed my lips and started. Everything was fine until she started talking about her personal life. It honestly started to get very annoying and awkward because she also talked about these old men that she was seeing and doing more with. I was disgusted wanting to walk out but couldn't. Also my lips has developed a severe reaction where it tingles and it keeps drying up. I'm awaiting on a test where they had to punch my lip to get skin. They say it may have been from filth which the place is cute but there's garbage, cotton tips everywhere! I'm now worried if the needle was clean! Save yourself and go somewhere else that's safe! It's not worth it especially when I paid in full. The vibe was okay at first but seriously too much information to a complete stranger! I'm glad I didn't pay to get my lashes done!
