A Delightful Getaway from the Vegas 100+ weather ! Cedar Breaks is a cozy lodge that gives Golf Course community vibes yet in a comfortable resort setting. The lodge is conveniently located in Brian Head near the ski resorts and is just a 30 minute drive from Panguitch Lake. Let's not forget the hiking, viewing and hiking sites in Dixie National Forest! There is even a place right across the street and up the road to rent ATV's. My husband and I booked a 3 night stay online to celebrate the start my birthday and we were not disappointed! The staff are all gold star employees that made us feel welcomed. They all went beyond our needs to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. Everyone that we encountered ( maintenance, restaurant employees and front desk) always demonstrated a 10-5 rule that seems to be forgotten in the hospitality industry. This was a major plus for me. Front desk check in was a breeze. Staff are both check in agents and concierge. Ryan was our agent, He was the best in ensuring that our stay felt personable and even wished me a Happy Birthday! He gave us the information that we needed and even sent us texts to ensure we were having a great experience. The lodge has three main buildings with the main amenities ( pool, spa, fitness room, restaurant, front desk) all located in the main building. Outdoors features grilling areas, main fire pit, basketball, volleyball and horseshoe games for families. Let"s not forget the amazing views with sitting areas. We chose to sit to enjoy the views with the beautiful sunsets while we were there. We also tried the pool on our last night there, The pool is not too big and does not go over 5 ft. There is also a separate small kiddie pool, hot tub, and dry/wet sauna. We didn't stay too long as there were a few families with kids utilizing the space and we wanted something a little quiet. Either way it was nice and the pool was indoors and heated. The building we stayed in has parking underneath with carts ready to help you take you belonging up to your room. There are main elevators as well. Our room itself was super cozy. It felt like a mini apartment offering a living space with a sofa bed, a fully stocked kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom. Restroom had a very deep tub but there are plenty of railing that will help you get in and out of the shower. Soap, tissue and towels were very well stocked. The only thing missing were the robes and I would be in heaven. Although, the rooms do not have air condition, there are ceiling fans throughout and a boxed fan that you can place by the window. There were no complaints as the weather at night dropped to the 60's ( I will take this any day rather than the 115+ Vegas weather)! The building was well maintained and we even saw maintenance workers painting in different areas. T The restaurant was good, not amazing but good and a little pricey for the offerings. The menu is well rounded with easy picks ( steak, burger, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers) Nothing that will blow you away. Tip - The pizzas and pasta dishes are easily shareable. They also offer alcoholic beverages ( wine, beer and cocktails. ) Again nothing over the top. They offer a bar atmosphere with a pool table and the restaurant dining area. We utilized the bar area twice as it had background music and was a better vibe for us. We had three different servers on all three days and everyone was nice and were friendly. Trace by far was the best and gave pointers on skiing. Every day, we drove out and explored different areas of Dixie Park and the Lake. It was nice to come back to the resort and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are now planning a nice skiing trip for our next visit and may bring along some family. I was advised that the lodge is being taken over by Hilton as well so I am looking forward to exploring the perks that may come along with it! read more

We were blessed to find this lodge on our travels. It's a beautiful place. We were only there for a night, so our only experiences were coffee shop, and restaurant. Front desk was friendly and truly made us feel welcomed. We parked under the lodge, and several luggage carts were conveniently located beside the doors. Food was a bit pricey, but we enjoyed every bite. We placed a to go order and brought it to the room. Hummus was well seasoned, and it came with veggies, pita bread, and feta cheese. Salad and dressing was good with perfectly cooked chicken and plenty of veggies. There were a lot of chickpeas on it, but I didn't mind! Quesadilla was good too. Coffees and lattes were perfect breakfast wake up, but we were a bit disappointed that no breakfast was on site. The room... perfect for 3 adults, and honestly, it would be perfect for a family! Living, kitchen, dinette, bedroom, and nice size bath. It was like a one bedroom apartment! Just an fyi, it doesn't have air conditioning, but it does have heaters and fireplaces. They do have 2 ceiling fans, and we found two additional fans the next morning. If you're short, you might have some difficulty stepping into/out of the tub. Free use of the laundry room, and although we didn't use it, they also had a game room! I could easily see this being the perfect spot for a vacation getaway! read more

All the staff are super friendly, helpful and when we needed something especially a room upgrade or something fixed they responded immediately. They have a pool, 2 hot tubs, steam room, sauna, a spa for massages, library to borrow books, movies, business area with computers if needed, games, and a game room. The resort is very family friendly. Free Shuttles available also! We were lucky when we came that we had a winter wonderland during spring break for our kids to have fun in the snow. We live in Las Vegas so they don't get to play in the snow much. The kids definitely had lots of fun in the snow!!!! The parking is under ground so your car is protected from snow, rain or sunshine and easy access to the elevators. The rooms are clean and spacious. The one bedroom grand is plenty big for a family of 6. My favorite places at the resort is the small gym to workout especially when the weather was very snowy and I wouldn't get outside for a bit. I'm not much of a skier and have problems with bad knees and R ankle and was afraid to fall in icy conditions. There's also a playground just outside the property for kids to play. When the weather is warmer the kids can go outside and play. They do shovel the walkway to the playground as best as they can so the kids can go play there so they can have snow ball fights and build snow men. If you are a person to ski or snow board definitely talk to the front desk they will take care of you as the resort has discounts with local facilities nearby. The person to talk to is Cindy- she is very knowledgeable and knows the best places to go. Zion National Park and Cedar City is not far and a great day trip also to do if you want to get away. We had a great hike at Zion for 1/2 a day before the storm. Make sure you bring your own food! It's a timeshare so the great thing is you can cook your own meals and feel like you are at your own home. You are so far away from town so it's best to be prepared. There is a small shop if you do need some things at Apple Annie's Country Store. There is a restaurant on location yet it is independently owned. It's not as good as it used to be. This is our second time staying here, but this time I booked directly through the website. Our family of four booked a one bedroom grand room. This place is within walking distance to the Navajo lodge of Brian's Head. Our room was in the main building (where you check-in, pool, fitness room and game room located) which was super convenient after a day out at Brian's Head, we unwinded on the heated pool! Denise at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! Our room had a full kitchen with full range (4 burner + oven), full sized refrigerator, dish washer and half sized kitchen sink. The room also had a coffee maker (filter + coffee grounds type - not the keurig pod type), toaster and blender. The closets were very spacious with lots of hangers to hag your snow jackets and clothes. The bathroom had extra towels, tissues, and toilet paper. Put it this way, our room had everything we needed for the next 3 nights without having to call housekeeping. This place also has a washer and dryer you could use for FREE!!! So nice to be able to wash your clothes before heading home! There is even a bell hop trolley in the parking garage for you to use to help get all your stuff up to your room! When we come back again next year, I'm definitely reserving the same room type again! read more

It was quite a drive to get to this cute little lodge but it was worth it. It was high up. There were some snow left in certain areas. The check in lobby is separate from the rooms. There are 3 buildings which is where your assigned room will be at. There's covered parking and outdoor spaces. The check in building offers a small coffee shop with some snacks and tables. Nice friendly service. The pool and jacuzzi is adjacent on the other side next to the coffee shop. There's a room for the children to play in as well. And a fitness room. And their double diamond restaurant on your right side of the check in counter. They open until 9pm. All staff members are very nice and friendly which we really appreciate:) We opted for the bar section for dinner. Very cozy atmosphere and a fireplace. There's a pool table as well. A full bar too. The menu offer a good selection. We ordered the calamari, chicken pesto pasta and chicken quesadillas. Pretty tasty and large portions at decent prices. We had the margarita which was good too. The staff was helpful and very nice and polite. It was our server's first day and he did an amazing job and was super sweet. Our room is very nice. There's a fridge and full kitchen with cups and microwave etc. kitchenware etc and the hair dryer was strong and accommodating body gel, conditioner, shampoo, lotions etc. drawers and Tv in bedroom and living room. There's a fireplace in the living room and our bedroom. It was very romantic. Windows in both room. The room have nice full length mirrors In bedroom and living room , which I really appreciate and plenty of towels and paper towels for uses. And trash can. Sofa and table and chairs. It was a lovely vacation/stay. We really enjoyed ourselves. Very cute lodge and excellent services. Checked into this place for the first time. We normally stay at the brianhead lodge, but was too pricey during the dates I needed, so cedar breaks it was! I'm we enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable & spacious. Loved the fireplace, well stocked kitchen offering a toaster, coffee maker, utensils, cutting board, dish soap, can opener, scissors, etc. all the essentials! We loved it, definitely useful. The products they offered smelled good, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Huge tub / shower combo. The lobby was equipped with a restaurant & bar, which the service was great, spacious, and yummy food! They also offered a pool table free of charge. There was a game room for kids offering dvds (for the room), games, puzzles, books, etc. loved it. We played chess in there. The pool / hot tub is indoors, 2 hot tubes, and a heated pool with plenty of space. Not to mention underground parking so the cars aren't snowed on over night. Overall, this place was better than my expectations. I'd definitely stay here again. Not to mention the location is walking distance to the Navajo lift. read more

Found a pretty good deal on a room here. We had such a pretty drive up to Brian Head. The hotel was really easy to find. Check in process was smooth. They have covered parking but it's fairly limited and if you have an oversized vehicle, you might have trouble fitting. They have a lot of parking around the outside. We didn't use the pool as it was cold but they had one The room was really nice with a fireplace and whirlpool style pool. No idea how to turn on the jets but the tub was big and was nice to soak after being out in the cold. We are at the restaurant and it's a bit overpriced for what you get but probably similar pricing to other resort community dining. Nothing was amazing about the food but it wasn't bad either. It was convenient to have the restaurant on site though. They also have a texting system to get in touch with someone easily which was a nice addition to the experience. read more

UPDT: Diamond resorts who owns this hotel called me back. They told me because I couldn't prove that the bed bugs happened in their room that there was nothing they could do for me. Spent 30 minutes on the phone with Annamarie C who was horrible. Regardless - I'm a customer and something bad happened at your hotel. Anyway all I can do now is urge people not to stay there. Between the physical issues and me now possibly needing my home fumigated - it's not worth it. Just stay up the street and be safe. BED BUGS!!!!! I am so disgusted. I had bug bites only on my butt- I went to the doctor because they were bothering me so bad, and they were so big, I was certain they were spider bites. The doctor told me no in fact these are bed bug bites. He also said anything I brought in that room is likely contaminated. So now there is a chance they are back at my home. I called the hotel spoke to a girl and was told that they would call me back... of course they didn't. Seriously disgusting !!! Don't stay here stay at best western up the street. read more

I own a condo there and was assessed $9700.00 for a pipe leak that did not even occur in my building. The leak was caused because a pipe in the main building broke in the attic because the heater failed or was turned off. This happened 2 years ago and Hilton Grand vacations the new owner says insurance will not cover the damage. The service there has always been marginal and no pets are allowed and it is impossible to ever get anything resolved. I have made payments that were never credited and after two years gave up. Stayed here last week for a total of three days (booked through Airbnb). Our Airbnb host was great and let us know that she utilized the resort's cleaning service and if we needed anything they would happily assist. We were really excited about staying at the resort and exploring Brian Head. Upon arrival, we went to the lobby to check in. We were quickly told that due to COVID, one person/party was allowed in the lobby and masks were required (we were wearing masks). We were happy to see that the resort was taking precautions to keep guests and staff safe... However, this lasted all of 30 seconds, when an unmasked couple entered the lobby for their scheduled pool time (to use pool/hot tub you have to sign up at front desk, slots are limited to groups of 20 and masks are "strongly suggested"). The couple was asked to wait off to the side of the check in line until someone could help them out... I don't understand the logic of requiring masks for people checking in but not for guests walking through/hanging out in the same area to get to the pool. After check in, we headed to our room, but accidentally went into the wrong building (building 3 instead of 2). We were happy when we realized our mistake because the hallway we entered smelled really badly and we saw an over filled trash can that seemed to be the culprit. We finally made our way to the correct building and room (building 2). Right away we could see that our room was GROSS. The floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed (food crumbs around the table, a whole Dorito by the bed, a pill wrapper behind the trash can, and paper receipt were some of the things we saw just by glancing around the room). The were smudges on the window (like from wet fingers or an animal's tongue), leftover water in the Keurig, a white powdery substance on the bathroom floor (maybe laundry detergent?), hair in the tub, and a 1/2 used travel size shampoo in the shower. We were exhausted from our drive and just wanted to decompress, so we didn't make a stink (decided we would wear socks/sandals when walking on the floor) and wipe down items before we touched them. We checked the bed and the sheets looked clean, so we decided to just relax and watch TV... Only the tv didn't work. Called maintenance and after about 30 minutes someone shows up. They try to fix the problem (missing cable box) but can't find where to connect it. After about ten minutes of trying they leave to get a ladder. The guy returns about 30 minutes later, uses the ladder for about five minutes and then says he can't help us because if the job takes longer than 30 minutes he would have to bill the owner. So he leaves and my bf calls the owner. Within 10 mins of being on the phone my boyfriend has found the "missing" cable and is able to connect the cable box. Despite connecting the cable box, we still can't get TV to work. Argh! Eventually we were able to use our laptop to watch a show and relax. (Owner of condo was planning to follow up on tv/cable issue.) We tried to stay positive despite this rocky start, and overall we did make the best of our time in Brian Head. However, here are a few other things that really detracted from our stay at this resort: In our entire three day stay, the trash in the hallway was never emptied. By day two it smelled SO bad (as gross as our first experience in Building 3). On the third day, someone took a box out of the trash can and used it to prop open the door to the stairs. Trash can in garage was also never emptied and the trash just overflowed onto the ground. On day 3 we called front desk for more toilet paper. They said 10-15 minutes. After 25 minutes no one had shown up. We looked out of our door and saw a housekeeping cart (did not see a staff member) and took a toll. Tried to visit the coffee shop in the hotel lobby on two occasions- both being times that the shop was said to be open (per hours written on the window of the cafe). Both times the cafe was closed and front desk, "wasn't sure" when they would open. Elevator was never cleaned during our stay. (There is one elevator for the building.) There were smudges on the button panel and lots of dirt and debris on the floor. In the times of COVID, this was especially disappointing, concerning, and gross. I don't recommend this resort at all and won't be staying here again. read more

Arrived at 1am Saturday of memorial weekend. The security guard checked us in and was in a very pleasant, upbeat manner which we are not used to in Los Angeles lol. Thankful for him. We went to our room to find our wee were upgraded from a junior villa to a one bedroom! Awesome! Great view of the snow capped mountains in the distance once Morning rolled around. Cindy (sorry if misspelled) at the front desk in the morning was very helpful in giving me a map and guiding me through the different sites to see on the way to capitol national park. Also the showers have great water pressure, fireplaces work just right and they have new dual pane windows to help keep the rooms warm. Always a great experience when staying here with my Diamond resort timeshare points. The restaurant has great portion sizes, great atmosphere and service! Will of return again for sure! read more

The room was fine clean comfortable. We rented it through a VRBO Front desk Ryan and Audrey were great. It all went downhill when we went to the restaurant bar. We don't drink but chose to go play pool in the bar area while waiting for her to go order Jesse the food server waitress in that area demanded to see ID which shocked us cuz we're both in our '50s. When I didn't have mine on me and left it in the room she told us we had to leave. We were dumbstruck. Needless to say went back to the room got the ID came back continued our game of pool while still waiting for our food. She aggressively asked for ID again I asked her if she could be nicer about it and she told us that's it You need to leave. When we didn't leave right away she said you need to leave now or I'm calling the Marshalls? WTF??? NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WON'T BE BACK. read more

It's an incredible place. Underground parking, friendly and helpful staff, very tasty restaurant. We arrived very early but we were checked in at no extra charge. The spa area is large and cozy (if you don't have a lot of kids running in). From the disadvantages only the lack of breakfast in the hotel, snacks are better to take with you. We came here needing a mental break. We've had a really rough week and the day we checked in was a very hard day mentally. We booked our room with the plans of doing nothing all weekend and we didn't have to leave the hotel at all. From the second we checked in the staff was welcoming and kind. Our room was beautiful and big and clean. Every single person there was so kind from the front desk, to the coffee lady to the gift shop lady to waitress at the restaurant! They all made this weekend exactly what we needed and every one was helpful and patient with our very big family. I left today feeling so much better mentally and ready to come back already! Love this place. We have been going to Brian Head for several years and recently discovered this gem right at the doorstep of the ski resort. This is best part to walk to ski lifts and tubing area. It is not too fancy but perfect for families and decently priced. The facility is nice and clean. Service is great with ample parking though most of it is most of it outside. On the property there is a restaurant, coffee house, hot tub and pool, as well as a game room. There is an outdoor grill area and playground. Supposedly there is a spa there but never used. Highly recommend. Plan to come back for years. read more

It was easy to find the location. First positive. It is 100 yards away from the Navajo ski lift. It was very easy walk from hotel to the Navajo ski lodge. I did not even move my car to drive anywhere because everything I needed was in the hotel and I walked to the ski resort. Check in was easy. They have three buildings. The one in the middle is the main one with the pool, spa, restaurant and bar. And there are two other buildings on the left and right. I was staying in building three. There is plenty of parking underneath the building which is good because parking inside keeps the car warm. They have elevators but they were slow, so are used mostly stairs. There was a smell on the hallway I think because of cooking in the rooms. Room had everything I needed. There was a small kitchen with the fridge and microwave and coffee maker. They had cups, plates and glasses. Bathroom had a deep hot tub with water jet option. Room also have safe box, ironing. I did not see hair dryer. TV had many channels including three movie channels . Rooms were obviously outdated, needs some upgrading. Carpet looked clean but was very old. Bed was very old and uncomfortable. I had hard time opening windows, only one of them opened maybe 1/3. There was a gas operated fireplace which looked really nice and I enjoyed it very much. There was also a table where I worked a little. There is a bar, a restaurant, a pool area, two Jacuzzi's, one dry sauna, and one wet sauna in main building. Main building also has changing room. There was no room service. Lobby people were not so friendly, maybe because I wasn't their typical Utah people. Internet work very well. Rooms also had extra blankets and extra pillow. There was also a business center with computers in the main hotel building. There is also a café in the hotel which is open for breakfast and lunch, they offer café and very small sandwiches and bakery. No one was using masks anywhere. Overall I loved the location, hotel needs upgrade. There were also so many families staying, and kids were running around all day and evening. Heater worked very well. read more

We stayed here in July and it was really nice. The lodge was inviting along with staff. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. We had a 1 bedroom and it was just perfect for the 2 of us. We used the sauna and jacuzzi very nice for relaxation after a long drive. I would totally recommend Cedar Breaks Lodge to anyone you can't go wrong. My partner has been going to the Cedar break lodge for over 22 years and I have worked in the hotel and hospitality industry for over 10years. We choose to come here continuously because of our experiences thus far but this last trip left little to be desired. We normally arrive early and go request to either check it in or pre reg the reservation. We always have the same accommodations the same request never a problem. The gentleman at the front desk seemed to not really know what he was doing and we advised him of what our requests were mainly being in the main building. He said it wasn't a problem he pre registered reservation as if everything we requested was met When it was time to check in nothing that we requested was on hold.  My partner had to put up a fight for them to relocate us to the main building it just left a bad taste in our mouth in reference to the service we received. We were there for one night And then when we were advised that there were no rooms available in the main building, miraculously after talking with management they were able to relocate us to the main building. so my question is I understand inventory issues but if there was always a room there that you could put us in why did we have to go back and forth. We asked for a late-checkout of 11am and was denied. Overall worst experience read more

Love this place! The setting: very easy to book with great rates! The manager checked us in and he was great very easy check in! We went in February when it was snowing. Another great part is there is under ground parking so my car was free of snow and ice! The accommodations: we got a JR suite and it had a fridge, coffee pot, and microwave. It also has all of its own silverware, and dishes. Bed and pillow are very comfortable. The pool is heated and has two hot tubs. They also have a real nice work out facility, and a sauna. Another great part is it's right next to the ski slopes. Over All: I love staying here and suggest this place to anyone looking! I gave it five stars because the staff was great, the room was great, the amenities are also great! read more

went weekend of May 3rd and it was not a good experience. NONE of the machines (soda, water, ice) in the entire place worked but, most annoyingly, we asked to borrow a wine opener to open a bottle of wine that we were taking to our room and, although the bartender said it was "no problem," the (female) manager ran over and started screaming at us about a "$30 cork fee" even if it's just to open a bottle that's not to be consumed in the bar area (or anywhere but our own room). The bartender (and two other employees) apologized for this individual's unbelievable rudeness and said she was just 'that kind of person" who "is not happy unless she's making others miserable." Whoever this female bar manager is (this occurred on Saturday May 4th) is doing a horrible disservice to this hotel. It was so bad that I am writing letters to this hotel chain. read more

Not very happy with this place right now! I booked this place for one night to do some MTB in Brian Head. We got here a little early like at 2pm and the accommodated our check in with no issue, which was good but then it started going down hill quick. We got to our room to drop our stuff off and then do some riding. I noticed a wash cloth hanging on the shower head so I called about it so that they could do something about it before we got back from our ride. We got back to take advantage of the swimming pool and jacuzzi before bedtime. Well, no one mentioned during check in that the pool, weight room and game room were only accessible by appointment only. So, I paid a resort fee without the resort amenities! There was only two towels in the restroom and no set of sheets for the pull out bed even though I booked the room for 4 adults. There was a time during this fiasco that I was considering extending my stay or booking another night and I was rudely told that was not an option. I did not feel welcomed here nor did I have confidence in the cleanliness of this place. I do not recommend this place. Oh and they never did send anyone for that dirty wash cloth! read more

Not bad for the price paid. This was my first time staying at this place.There's 3 separate buildings for this lodge which I thought was odd can't really hold it against them. We stayed at the main building which is where the pool and jacuzzi is located. Our room was spacious with a decent size kitchen! The room was separated with the kitchen and living room in one area and the bedroom through a doorway. There were 2 fireplaces and 2 tv's (one in each room) which was nice! Beds and pillows were comfortable. I knocked off 2 stars for 2 reasons: 1.) I do think the room needs a good renovation. The furniture (the couches) and carpet were outdated and could use a nice facelift. 2.) The jet tub needs to be cleaned better. There were brown discoloration/remnants around the holes of the tub...gross. There's also a shuttle that will take you to the slopes which was appreciated. So would I stay here again? Yes I would. I think for the price we paid and the size of the room that we got, it was worth it. Hopefully they'll read these reviews and work on cleaning the tub better and think about upgrading the carpet and couches. read more

Serves it purpose being so close to the slopes. Rooms are okay, and service is satisfactory, when you don't catch someone who's sick trying to go home early. We arrived in the mid afternoon after a day on the slopes and were tired and ready for a bath. We checked in with the front desk, which is literally the tiniest front desk I've ever seen. Our hostess seemed tired and annoyed, and asked me to repeat my phone number like four times. She also showed us on the map where the ice machine was SEVERAL times. Amidst the check in process, she asked her supervisor if she could go home early and began to explain how she wasn't feel well and sniffled and wiped her snot with her sleeve. EWW. When we finally got to our room we were disappointed because our room did not have a soaking tub, but instead was an accessible unit with a roll in shower. Not to let this put a damper on our stay, I picked up the phone and dialed the front desk and spoke to the nice supervisor who apparently let the girl who checked us in, go home early. She quickly found another room on the same floor for us and asked me to stop by the front desk to pick up new keys. All's well that ends well - we got our soaking tub and toasted our toes near the fireplace in our new room. The layout of the resort is just a tad bit awkward. There are three buildings and if you want to use the pool but are not in the main building, you have to run through the snow to get there. We know because two young gentlemen ran past us in their swim trunks as we were checking in. Not really the hotel's fault, but more of a design flaw I would say. All in all, this resort was convenient because we could leave our car in the parking lot and take the shuttle to the slopes, but the spotty service and high resort fees made it just an 'OK' place to stay. read more

This is truly a time that I wish I had read the reviews. The location is beautiful, the accommodations are lovely, very nice, comfortable but certainly not luxurious. The staff are really very helpful, professional and really convey a desire to make ones experience exceptional. I really want to emphasize the hard work of the staff and how special they all tried their best to make us feel. The problem is that the staff are trying to provide an exceptional service within an organization that only provides them with resources to provide mediocre or even sub-standard service. Again, I want to emphasize that the staff, were wonderful and genuinely wanted to give us a great experience! Here is where the problems are: 1) When checking in: it should be explained to visitors from out of state that Utah has a law requiring all persons going into their Bar and Grill to be 21 years or older and MUST show ID....It would have saved several of our party from having to go back to our rooms to get our IDs (all of us over 60 yrs old). 2) In the bar and grill on 10/6 there was one young man working this area. He not only had to take care of tables but had to tend bar, bus tables and take care of everything in between. I wish I could remember his name. BUT BOSSES...you need to give him a bonus and a raise! He ran his butt off to care for many, many tables. He was lovely and charming....you are lucky to have such a representative in your business. Take better care of your employees..this situation was exploitative of your people who work for you! 3) Food: Very disappointing...Cesar Salad: dressing was some creamy crappy Cesar from a can or bottle...not freshly made Cesar dressing. The chili Cesar was described to us as "some kind" of chili powder mixed with the Cesar dressing. ( :0 ????). Overall, the food was terrible...the mixed drinks were even worse, completely watered down and not mixed right...(the guy at the bar was doing his best and had no one to help him with drinks and the tables). This is a beautiful spot. People who come here deserve to have a great experience in all aspects of their vacation. To the owners: Do better...you have a lot of competition in many other beautiful areas of Utah...I cannot recommend you. read more

*BEWARE* if you are staying here to go snowboarding it is not even remotely a good place to stay the showers are almost completely open on tile with a shower curtain that doesn't even reach all the way across (there is no way to warm up) there is also no barrier so be warned your entire bathroom floor will be soaked . they also don't tell you until you get here that the pool and hot tub are reservation only and getting a spot is hard. So after a long day of snowboarding/ skiing you have NO WAY to warm up. read more

I went here 2 weekends ago with my husband and our friends and we had a great experience. The service was amazing. We checked in around 9pm on Friday and the receptionist who assisted us was very friendly. When we found out we had a room in the other building, we asked if we could stay in the main building to avoid walking in the snow. She was able to do so and she also made us feel so welcomed. The rooms were clean and the small kitchenette is a little nifty feature. Another cool feature they have is that they have a pet deer named Thunder that roams the grounds. read more

This place SUCKs! Checked into our room only to find out that the room does NOT have A/C. The room was like a sauna at 82 degrees when we walked in. Called the front desk and the woman says well its on your reservation confirmation that the room does not have A/C. Told her I don't read every line in the reservation confirmation email and asked if she does. No response. I went back to the email only to see that towards the bottom of the long email where it says this property does not have A/C. The woman told me to open the windows and runs the fans. The room came with ceiling fans and box window fans. Once you have the box fans on, you can't hold conversations or watch TV because it was so loud. Also the fans do not circulate cooler air to the other room where my son sleeps so he was hot all night long. More problems leaving the windows open like the front desk suggested, We were waked up several times every night there by someone's loud crying baby which can be heard through everyone's open windows. They charge you a $17 per night resort fee and only to be taxed on that as well so it basically comes to about $20 per night in resort fee. The resort fee was a joke for what they told me it includes. These items would have been standard at most 3 stars and higher hotels across the U.S. Especially in the age of Covid, you would need to reserve a time for the pool. Internet was slow. Room was old and out dated. Damages can be seen. Water spews out of the kitchen sink faucet when on due to poor regular maintenance. Bathroom countertop was peeling off at the edge which almost cut my finger. Tub was outdated. Shower water pressure was very weak. So save your money and stay somewhere else. This place isn't worth it. read more

So let me start with the dirty shower upon arrival. Hair in the shower. Then the list goes on; broken dishwasher, we could not adjust the thermostat (it was so hot in our unit and the front desk told us to open a window), we ran out of toilet paper, no hot water in 1 shower and painful pressure in the other shower, sheets were scratchy. I think that it it. You have to make reservations for use of pool and game room but I'll that's Covid so I can't blame them for that one. read more

Absolutely loved our stay at this resort. My family and I stayed here January 28th to February 1st in a two bedroom unit. The two bedroom had a full kitchen fully equipped stove and oven, pots and pans, utensils dining room table with placemats. The master bedroom had a jetted tub and a wonderful view out the room, the other room which our kids stayed and had a really nice view as well. We were here for just three days and had wished we could've stayed longer. All of the staff was so friendly especially the housekeeping ladies. Each time any staff never walked past us they asked if we needed anything and made sure we were good. We reserved a time to enjoy the pool due to Covid they limit the capacity and you have to make a reservation at the front desk to utilize the pool for just one hour. But it was enough for us. We brought own our groceries were able to cook so we didn't actually visit the restaurant at this resort. The resort is also super close to the ski lifts rentals, we actually brought our own so we didn't need to use that but it was very convenient to be so close to it. Oh plus you can wash and dry your clothes for free! That was what made this place 5 stars. read more

Pros: - Beautiful view of Brian's Head and the ski slopes from my window - The indoor pool and hot tubs were wonderful, and we used them frequently. - The nearby Brian Head Resort is great for $15 tubing for a couple hours. It only takes a few minutes to walk there. Cons: - Like people say, the rooms are a little small, but that didn't really bother me. - WiFi is a rip off AT&T 1 $4.95/hr or $9.95/day. I'm told it's slow too, so I never bothered buying it. You can get "free" wifi from the snack bar, but only if you buy something and only until you leave. (You can't come back and use it unless you buy something else.) - The people at the counter were friendly, but often gave inaccurate information and poor advice regarding the weather and driving up the mountain when the weather was questionable. They told us that the "tire chains required" lights were on when they weren't, told us to buy chains at Wal-Mart who had none for sale, and one employee encouraged us to call the Brian Head marshall, who did not seem to have any way to help us, when the mountain was too snowy for us to drive up. Other things to know: - The 1-bedroom Villa rooms have two stove burners, a small sink, and a smaller than average refrigerator/freezer (though it's much larger than a mini fridge). The kitchenette space is pretty tiny. Only one or two people could use it at a time. - Kitchenette includes a coffee maker, small blender, 4 place settings worth of large plates, small plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, wine glasses, small glasses, and some more cups, a large salad bowl, a pitcher, 5 place settings with of silverware, a can opener, a corkscrew, a chef's knife, bread knife, carving fork, a bottle opener, measuring spoons, 4 pots of varying sizes, one of which can be used as a skillet, a small cutting board, a large 2-slot toaster, a spatula, 1 mixing spoon, 1 spaghetti spoon, 1 large and 1 medium Tupperware, paper towels, dish soap, and a sponge. There is no dishwasher, just a small sink. There is also an industrial size microwave. - Things it would have been nice to have: measuring cups, a mixing bowl or two, a rubber spatula, COUNTER SPACE, somewhere to dry your dishes after washing them Pro Tips: - For free wifi, walk across the street to Apple Annie's General Store. You can sit in the small post office area next door and use their wifi for free. The password is posted on the bulletin board in there. (The cashier at Apple Annie's told us about this.) - Apple Annie's also has $3 for 3-day DVD rentals, which is a lot better than the $5 1-day rentals in the Cedar Breaks gift shop. read more
