I then found a smaller shop, nice old guy who did it for $60 and had it done in one day, I'll be taking my 12 chairs to him... I have an old chaise lounge that my husband slept on while he was a little boy. It was in his…read moregrandfather's den, and as a three year old, he'd fall asleep on it. It was red & white checkered fabric, which is all he remembers. I had it reupholstered in California about ten years ago, but through several moves, the old fabric just got dingy and faded. I contacted two stores in St. George to do the upholstery. One could not be bothered and told me to go to Saville Upholstery, and they were happy to take on the project. They did a marvelous job on the chair. We found the right red & white checkered fabric, and we discussed some changes. It took them about two weeks to get it done from order to finish. I am not sure why folks gave this business a one or two star rating because they were responsive, the took care of a family treasure, and they worked with me on getting fabric samples and picking the right one. I would highly recommend them for any upholstery. job. I'll add some before and after pictures. The before pictures show a ruffled bottom, while the other one shows a nice clean edged finished on the bottom.
