I never let reviews, good or bad and I wasn't going to leave one here because I'm not a complainer but after dealing with Tom acting like I was the problem and not the cleaning lady not doing her job here's my review. We rented a secluded cabin and when we arrived it was lovely and clean but the hot tub didn't work. They immediately offered us another cabin. It was not secluded, people slowed down and stared at us from the road if we were on the deck. But that was the least of the problems. We had to wash the sheets and blankets when we were ready to go to bed because they were covered in long black hair (and some short curly ones) I have short blonde hair and he has white hair. I had already talked to Tom about moving and he was arrogant and just kept saying how lucky we were for the upgrade so I didn't bother calling. Then we opened the hot tub and it was disgusting. There was dirty brown scum stuck to it above the water line. And dirt laying all through it. When I used the stove there was food left under the burner from someone else and it caught fire. I emailed when we left to let them know they should do better cleaning since they charge $125 cleaning fee. And he was irritated that I didn't call him when I was trying to go to bed and have his cleaning lady come change my sheets and clean the hot tub at 930 pm. I was irritated it wasn't done before I got there. He typed this in the email as a response to my question of why it wasn't done ...We inspected the cabin before you got there and pulled the comforter down and it was clean along with the rest of the cabin. That is copied and pasted from his email. The email before that said his cleaning lady was there and changed the sheets. But the second one said she pulled the comforter down and inspected them. First, there a lot of things that I don't see that I don't want to sleep on, second which is it? Did she look at them or change them? if I hadn't seen hair on my sheets I wouldn't have known she just looks to see if they are clean. He seemed upset with me that I didn't call him at night to fix the problem, he sent me a screen shot showing I arrived at 4:15 and so that seems to be my issue that I didn't pull the comforter off and check when I first arrived. I shouldn't have had to. Overall I was just disgusted with having to deal with him and his narcissistic attitude that they couldn't fix the issues because I didn't do enough to make it possible. I'm also disturbed that they decide to change sheets because they look dirty, not because they were used. Won't be back! read more

We decided to rent a cabin in the Helen, GA area, since we had a shorter spring break this year and wanted to get away, since we hadn't left the area since the pandemic. We found the cabin, Bear Creek online via Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals. To me the price seemed a bit steep, but we also decided to book relatively late, and most cabins were booked. That being said, a few days prior to our trip we received specific, detailed instructions stating directions, door code, and other information regarding the amenities. One important piece of advice is, be sure to print the directions out beforehand. I know, I know, you probably have GPS, but service on the drive to this area is rather scarce, and in the emailed instructions, Cedar Creek says multiple times to print out the directions. Do yourself a favor and listen to them. We were used to staying in Ellijay, GA, but due to cabins being booked, we decided to visit the Helen/Cleveland area. When we arrived, we were greeted with a pretty steep driveway. We pulled up, parked, and saw the cabin. It looked like a wood cabin, equipped with a large wraparound porch, rocking chairs, fire pit, and hot tub outside. We put the code into the door and opened the cabin. The cabin was beautiful, spacious, and looked like the pictures. There is a full kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker. The stone wood burning fireplace was beautiful, as was the front room. There were three bedrooms, one on the main floor, which we gave to my parents, so they wouldn't have to go up and down stairs, which also had an on suite bathroom with a jetted tub, standing shower, sink, and toilet. Upstairs there was another large bedroom with one king bed and this room also had a full tub/shower and bathroom. Then on the lower level, there was another full bedroom, with king bed, bathroom with standing shower, washer and dryer, and then a huge game room with a pool table, futon, set of bunk beds, and a coach and TV. Everything looked beautiful. The only cons of this place was the main floor toilet didn't flush, which was a real bummer, since it was broken upon arrival. I wish whomever was the property management person in charge would have checked to make sure all these items were in working order prior to guests arriving. For the price you pay, it should be working upon arrival. We did put a call into the property management group that night, and the next day, the second day it was "fixed", the woman was nice, but said the part they had on hand would work for the time being, due to what they had in stock, and if we used that bathroom, we'd need to lift the handle after you're done using that bathroom, to insure the toilet would stop running. The only other negative was the plug to the left of the couch on the main floor seemed pretty jenky. Since the couch was a recliner that was electronic, the only way you could use the couch was to unplug the lamp, since the lower outlet didn't work. I think pending they fix these items and do a double check that everything is in working order, this cabin would be a five out of five. The wraparound porch was beautiful and had tons of seating. The house also had some walking paths behind it. We did some exploring and found a small waterfall, which was available on foot from the house. Pros: -Large spacious house -Good directions -Three main suites -Wood burning fireplace -Only about 15-20 minutes from Helen and Cleveland Cons: -Broken plug -Main toilet was broken upon arrival -Only two butter knives stocked in the kitchen Tips: If you're looking for a really secluded cabin, this may not be for you. While it was located in the woods, there were several cabins in the area that you could see from this one. If you're looking for a cabin that's not a long drive to Helen, this would be the cabin for you. read more

We had an issue with finding the cabin. Cedar Creek cabin rentals sent us the wrong address. We put in Google specifically the address that they sent us and it kept defaulting to a different road. We even put that address in Waze and Apple Maps. When I called to ask for a different address the girl said with an attitude "Well, I don't know what else to tell you except for the address." I asked for the coordinates and she would not give me the coordinates?? She gave us another address that was close to the cabin, just to get us closer. Once we finally found the cabin it wasn't even on the road they gave us!! They gave us this 123 Walnut Ridge Dr. Address... the cabin was on some maple drive road!?!? The road did not even have a street sign at the end of the road but on Google map it said that the name of the road was Maple Drive. We can not be the 1st people that this has happened too. We had to save the coordinates on our phone just to get back to the cabin. We finally got there. One of the first things I noticed was a bug in bed. Snake skin in shower, dead lizards and spiders and spiderwebs everywhere. Obviously no one did a walk-through before their guests arrived. Lots of games and activities to do around the cabin such as corn hole, fire pit, ping pong(the table was so dirty and nasty we could not use it) and hanging out in the hot tub(broken conveniently). The TVs don't work. The ice machine does not work. When I called to ask if they could fix the ice machine she told me the maintenance man lives 2 hours away? Like WHY in the world does your maintenance man live so far away? Why are you telling your guests that? We don't care how far they live, only that what we're paying for it doesn't work. So we had to wait a day. The fan doesn't work downstairs, the TV doesn't work upstairs. The Jacuzzi doesn't work. The oven did not work. We could not lock the bathroom doors! The fans were not working at all. They send a guy out that tells us.. I have stuff on the grill. I gotta get back to my food. Is this not your JOB?? This guy starts complaining about having to come out and fix things and then just ended up making things worse. The grill we had at our cabin had literally NOTHING beside it. So we had to bring out chairs or set everything on the ground. I even almost broke my ankle because of the location right beside a deep drop off step. Great placement! The very first night sleeping with no fans. It was an absolute nightmare. I didn't go to sleep until 3 AM something and we needed to get up at 5AM. Dead silence. No fan. No wind. No flowing air. It took me the longest it took me to fall asleep in years, on night one of my vacation. Then we wake up at 5 AM to get out and find out the maintenance man left our refrigerator OFF!! ALL night our refrigerator and freezer were off. No trash can in the bathrooms, no blow dryer. No shampoo or conditioner. You are asking people to pay a 5 star price and giving 0 star service. Night 2. Try to take a bath and use the Jacuzzi... that doesn't work either. No extra blankets or towels or even toilet paper. There were some knocking noises all throughout the cabin all night long. The lights would flicker on and off. Probably because of faulty wiring. They give you a coffee maker that doesn't work with no coffee filters or coffee for it. If I was you I would search elsewhere literally anywhere else besides this place! Absolutely horrible! read more

Mr. Telford is both unethical and unprofessional. He has not responded to texts, emails or voicemails for the past year concerning my complaint. I booked a cabin on their website based on the website description. When I received the contract it was contrary to what was described on the website. I told Cedar Creek Rentals that I would not be signing the contract do to the discrepancies. The website description said that 2 dogs 50lbs or under were allowed. When I received the contract, it said that 2 dogs were allowed 20lbs and under. My dogs are not 20lbs or under. I never signed the contract. However, Cedar Creek Rentals still charged my credit card. I have been asking for a copy of the alleged signed contract for a year and have been stonewalled by Mr. Telford and his staff. I still have no copy of a signed contract because it doesn't exist and I feel that they fraudulently charged my credit card. I gave no authorization to Cedar Creek Rentals to charge my card. I made that quite clear when I told them that I wasn't signing a contract. The fact that they will not even make an effort to respond in any capacity is completely unethical and I feel that I was purposely scammed. Had the company rewritten the contract to reflect the description on the website, I would have gladly signed. No such contract was ever offered, no contract was signed and I am now out $1500. Evidently upon reading other reviews, I am not the first person and won't be the last to be scammed by Mr. Telford and Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals. read more

We booked Bobcat Lodge and were very happy with the accommodations and amenities. We used both hot tubs, fire pit, fire place and pool table. Very clean and kitchen stocked well to cook meals during your stay. I would recommend being snacks or food as you are a bit of a distance from restaurants. We stayed in the Oasis cabin in mid March, 2019. We really enjoyed out stay. I wanted to point out a few things that might be helpful to know if you stay here. The Sauna. If you want listen to music inside, just turn in on and do a Bluetooth search from your phone. It has a weird name, but it's also the only one that shows up. If you cannot hear music, there is a switch on the ceiling inside the sauna next to the speaker. The sauna is large enough for two to share. I suggest downloading the manual for it from here: https://infraredsauna.com/is-2-2-person-cedar-sauna/ It is the Clearlight Premier IS-2. It was a fun experience. Just let it heat up for ten minutes first. The back porch hot tub. Ours was on and heated up when we arrived. The jet will be on a low setting. If you push the jet button it speeds up. At first we were disappointed in the jet pressure. The key is, there is a diverter on the wall under the water just below the filter return. You can turn it to four different positions to get more power on the different jets. That made a lot of difference. We really enjoyed it. The drink holders are at the wrong angle so be careful not to spill you beverage. We brought out a dining chair and sat our stuff on it. The indoor tub. This is an air jet tub, not a water jet tub. Having said that, it is amazing how powerful the air jets are. There is a control panel that only takes a few mins to figure out. The tub itself takes about 30 mins to fill up, so start it early. Make sure the water is a little warmer than you think you'll need, as it cannot reheat itself like some water jet tubs. The shower. This thing is fabulous. So much room to enjoy with your favorite person. Once again, turn it on a few mins before you are ready. We never ran out of hot water. I think this is because they have three water heaters, which is a good thing. The corner bench is large enough for one person to sit on. There's not an incredible amount of water pressure on any of the shower outlets, but that did detract from the experience. The pool table was nice. We got tired of pool and switched to a modified version of tabletop shuffleboard. Our suggestion is, just pick a up 6 to 8 Duraflame logs. They are only about $3 each and cheaper and easier to use. The original Duraflame logs don't give off a lot of heat which is good for the summer time if you want to enjoy a fire with the AC on. They also sell Duraflame Campfire Roasting Logs which do give off heat and you can roast over them too. The Keurig coffee maker worked good. We brought some pods. We preferred the 8oz setting and strong. They also provide an empty pod you can fill with your own coffee. The bed was a memory foam type mattress which you really sink in to. It makes for an interesting experience. I wouldn't want to sleep on it all the time, but for a change it was ok. If you require a lot of support, you might need to bring something to firm it up, like a mattress topper. As far as location of the Oasis, it's not super secluded, but we never felt we were not private. There is a privacy panel on the hot tub side facing the next cabin. If you are sitting by the fire pit, anyone from the street can see you if they are outside. The view out the back porch is just woods, so that makes it feel private. The back porch faces east so it makes for a nice sunrise. The grill is a charcoal style. It worked well with one small bag of charcoal for each grilling. We did not make use of the TV's, but they have a Roku and DirecTV. The internet is amazingly fast, 60mbps down. You could easily stream movies. Just remember to bring your own Netflix/Amazon passwords. Thermostat: It's a Nest and for some reason we had to text the owners to switch modes from heat to cool. It's should be automatic. Good news is they can do it remotely and they did so fast. Things you should bring with you: cotton bath mat; extra wash cloths and hand towels; paper towels; a loud Bluetooth speaker to sit on the fireplace mantel and fill the cabin with music; some bath salts to soften up the water; some hot tub scents; a queen sized sheet for the leather couch; string lights for the back porch. read more

If I could post zero stars I would. We stayed in a cabin here last year for Thanksgiving 2023. We had a great stay so we decided and go ahead and book for the following year for Thanksgiving in 2024. We also had family staying in 2 other cabins at Cedar Creek. We all booked in November 2023 for November 2024. I got a call a couple of months ago stating that the owner was going to be moving in to our cabin and they would need to move us. We were fine with that. Then I got a call a couple of months later stating that we were being moved yet again because the owner had sold our cabin. I was annoyed, but agreed as long as they could give us another one that's fine too. We were told we were being moved into a brand new cabin and it even had an extra bedroom. We were also told at that time there was still another cabin available that wold accomodate us, but we opted to stay in the new one. About 10 days later the girl in the office called me and just simply told me we cancelled your reservation and we are refunding your deposit. There was no apology or explanation at first as to why this was happening. Of course, as anyone would, I was very upset and started to ask her why this kept happening to us. She just said there was a miscommunication with them and they were just cancelling us. Keep in mind we had two other cabins for our other family booked there as well. This is the last trip we will be able to do like this with my family since my father is elderly so this is heartbreaking that our Thanksgiving has had to be cancelled. I asked the girl why we can't be moved to the other remaining cabin that was big enougth to accomodate us and she just simply said "it's booked". I told her it wasn't booked even a few days ago. Why is it that someone who booked only days ago wasn't called to tell them there was a mistake and they would have to be cancelled so that we could have that one since we booked last November??? They would rather be loyal to someone who booked last week than to us who were repeat guests with 2 other cabins booked for our family. This company is very sketchy! We were told twice that the owners were going to be living in one of the cabins we booked and then told the owners wanted to spend Thanksgiving in the new cabin we were put in to. I have posted other reviews on other sites as well because I do not want anyone to go through what we have gone through. This is absolutely maddening!! Do not book here if you want them to honor your reservation. They could cancel yours with no remorse, apology or explanation. read more

This was an amazing experience for my fiance and I. I rented the Enchantment cabin for 3 nights from August 20-23 for his upcoming birthday. The reservation process was quick and the website was easy to navigate. I was very thankful for the informational emails that were sent to put my mind at ease since this was my first time booking a cabin. When we first walked in it was absolutely breathtaking. The cabin looked exactly as it was shown in the pictures on their website,warm and inviting. The lights were on and there was music playing softly in the background. We are very thorough so immediately after bringing in our things we started to inspect the entire cabin. Upon inspection we were pleased to find no left over debris from previous renters. There were plenty of toiletries for our entire stay and the cabin was pretty clean. I understand everyone has a different opinion about what "clean" means so let me start by saying we are clean freaks so pretty clean is great! There were only a few things that made this rating 4 stars instead of 5. Cons: -The ice dispenser on the refrigerator had alot of mold/mildew on it as well as the inside of the doors to the fridge. I used a small cup to scoop ice out of the ice maker inside of the freezer instead. -The hot tub had something white and cloudy/slimy looking inside of it and had an unpleasant odor. But it didn't make too much of a difference because it didn't work at all anyway. -There is a gazebo above the jacuzzi tub and I noticed the tiles on the roof of it were extremely dusty. -Lastly, the double doors that lead to the back deck are not secure. We locked it and could literally pull it right open. Other than those few things our stay was truly a one of a kind experience. It was definitely worth the money. It was only 10 minutes away from Helen which was nice because it was so secluded and no traffic! We got to see our very first solar eclipse and had a very relaxing and romantic vacation. His favorite part was the pool table which was a ton of fun and mine was the huge jacuzzi tub! It was quiet and beautiful and we will most definitely come back again soon! read more

I was encouraged by all the positive reviews of CCCR and that we were allowed to check-in about 1-1/2 hours early, but was disappointed on entry into the cabin for our honeymoon weekend. Besides the bags of trash thrown just into the woods next to the front porch at "Bear's Den," the cleanliness of the cabin's interior was not worth the $746 price tag for our 3 night stay. Let's see... an overpowering burned wood smell upon entry (which, admittedly, some might find endearing) dishes and silverware not cleaned well, cobwebs and dust in the SHOWER (not to mention on the ceilings, vaulted or not), "mountain fresh" towels that didn't smell clean at all...all at THAT price?? I could have had a pristine hotel room for the same amount. And then there's the hot tub that smelled like a fishpond. I own a hot tub...they're not supposed to smell like that! When I contacted management, I was only met with excuses not apologies. My favorite was, "Oh, bears drag the trash in the woods." Really? Seems the bears would have torn the bag...and it wasn't torn. My next favorite was, "We use Bromine and well-water for the hot tub, not chlorine." Really? Ok, leave me a test strip showing it's safe to use and not a bacterial breeding ground...which CCCR actually agreed to come out and do...but then they didn't leave the strip, just a note. Admittedly, they cleaned the shower when requested...but should we have to even ask?? And I've not even mentioned the Skoal cans and burnt beer cans around back of the cabin. In short, if you don't mind a mess and potentially getting a bacterial skin infection from the hot tub, enjoy your stay with CCCR! Otherwise, you don't want to stay with this company. UPDATE: after CCCR's response to this review both on Google and Yelp, there was no attempt to "make it right" by offering a partial refund or even a credit to another stay. To say our stay was disappointing would be an understatement. We stayed at Chalet in the Sky. The roof leaked in 2 places. Supposedly they sent maintance out while we were gone, but I saw no evidence of anyone being there. Also none of the water was cleaned up and no clean sheets were offered after showing them one of the leaks was directly onto our bed. The hot tub was slimey and too hot. Something is clearly broken on it and it continuously heats way past the point of comfort regardless of the setting. The wifi didn't work. I let them know and it was never fixed. Towels were left around back in the dryer in the basement, rather than put away for us. The windows were so dirty we could barely see out of some of them. And the mattresses were so cheap and uncomfortable, the couches were a better option. No apologies were made. No one would return my calls, I could only get in touch with anyone by texting the after hours number even during regular business hours. I will not be using this rental company again. read more

Had a great visit! Stayed at Bella Vista cabin and it was a nice stay with beautiful views. Well stocked with utensils and pans/pots for cooking, and the bed was comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was the cleanliness. It wasn't dirty, just needed some extra TLC or a good deep cleaning periodically. We still loved it and would come back again. Customer service was good, and I personally prefer texting so it was perfect for me, communication-wise. I'd recommend it. read more

We stayed in Oak Hill (3 bedroom/ 2.5 baths). The cabin itself was beautiful! Large open spaces, plenty of space for the kids to run around and it had a beautiful view. The decor was very cheesy though with signs hanging in the bathrooms that said things like, "I aim to keep this bathroom clean, you just work on your aim", or something like that. When we arrived the hot tub was leaking a large amount of water and it was falling through the deck. This alarmed us and we called for someone to look at it for us. They didn't bother repairing it or offering to repair it, instead they brought a water hose so that we could continuously run water in it while we were in it. (Blink blink blink) Anyway, the master bathroom upstairs has a pretty awesome family shower. I would say it accommodates two people as it has two shower heads and is very roomy. The photo online said, "walk in shower, big enough for the whole family!" Now, I don't know about you, but I cannot think a whole family that would feel comfortable taking a shower together. And fine, you can consider the other option (who said they had to be related, eh) but to each it's own that's way too kinky for me! Online they advertised a television in the upstairs master bedroom there wasn't one. Also there was mention of a game table. We found a shuffle board in the creepy unfinished basement where the washer/dryer was located. Moving on, the kitchen was barely stocked in essentials: the things you'd assume would already be here and didn't bother packing (d'oh!) like a tea kettle etc. There weren't many cups, but there were a bazillion plates, three shelves piled high actually, which I found pretty odd. Around the porch outside there are nice rocking benches and a picnic table. The rocking chairs, however, were terribly splintered all over. Definitely not wanting to slide my butt all over those things by rocking back and forth in them. We visited in the summer and at night I t got terribly hot and it took forever to cool the place down. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but the cabin deserves some major upgrades and repairs! read more

Renter BEWARE! If I were able to leave a review with a negative star rating, I would. No proof of insurance, no license, and a falsified online address (google it!! Their business address doesn't exist). Please research ALL outlets and read all reviews, including TripAdviser, before considering booking here. As a licensed real estate professional, I can attest to the fact that this company is far and away the most unprofessional rental agency I have ever encountered; and we rent from various vacation property management companies nationwide on a regular basis. It is actually a far reach to call them "property management," as such a title is only allowed in the State of Georgia under licensed real estate professionals... of which, Cedar Creek has provided no proof after I requested it multiple times. The owners nor the representatives appear as licensed real estate professionals in the State of Georgia. I also requested a copy of their insurance, which they refused to provide. If they have it, I can't think of a single reason not to provide it. From the beginning: We set out to rent a cabin for Christmas of 2020, and discovered Cedar Creek online. We booked a cabin and placed a deposit as required. They were responsive up to that point. Later communications were nonexistent, and as we neared the final month before our rental (when we had received NO confirmation, nor cabin information) we began calling, texting and emailing Cedar Creek continuously over a period of three weeks--at which time we were looking to cancel out of concern. We also went as far as to submit their "Online Form Request" multiple times, all to no avail. Our worries intensified when they charged the remainder of the fee for the cabin to the card we used for our deposit, yet still no contact from them whatsoever. No answers, no texts, no emails, no responses to forms, no receipts... Absolute radio silence. At that time, I sent an email informing them that the charges would be reversed, as it would appear they are a fake rental company stealing consumers' money. Low and behold, THIS email received a response. After much back and forth, we received a written response that they would be refunding charges. That was on December 14, 2020 and we are now at January 21, 2021. We have filed a complaint with our financial institution, and are awaiting results and refund. read more

I had the pleasure of staying at Destiny for a New Year getaway.The cabin was in immaculate condition upon arrival and exceeded all expectations. The gourmet kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware.I opted to bring a few of my own pots/pans due to previous issues with worn cookware . However,all dishware appeared well kept. The cabin is overlooking a stream as well which was an added bonus to the wooded view.The gas fireplace and nest thermostat were able to keep the temperature of the cabin at a very comfortable level. The sauna was absolute perfection and was also equipped with a Bluetooth. The king bed was very comfortable as well. The walk in double rainfall shower speaks for itself and will literally make you consider renovating your bathroom!I was able to maintain wifi and a cellphone signal the entire stay.The door to the deck area allowed me to enjoy an amazing view each morning.The sliding screen also allowed me to enjoy a fresh breeze and rainy day as well.The cabin is located near quite a few trails.I chose Dukes Creek since I've visited the majority of Helen trails over the years. If you forget a few items there's a family dollar with a decent selection of spices,tools,etc.Due to Covid I cooked most meals at home but Helen or Cleveland offered a variety of restaurants as well.I was able to decorate the door to the deck area to enjoy my New Year in luxury and comfort as well.Wendy also provided prompt service for any questions/concerns.I will definitely return in the near future! read more

Beautiful cabins. Consistently have a wonderful experience. My family and I have stayed in these beautiful cabins at least once a year for the past four years. Nearly each time we have chosen a new cabin to stay at (not because we don't love the one we had stayed at, but because there are so many cabins to chose from). We always enjoy our stay, and always come back feeling refreshed. Just a short drive to go grocery shopping or to go sightseeing either in Helen or at nearby parks. My family had a wonderful stay at the Gingerbread Haus on Mount Yonah! We have a 13 month old, and it was so convenient to stay in a homey cabin with her, rather than a hotel. The views were to die for. The cabin was very clean, and the services CedarCreek offers make the stay very easy. They stayed in touch by text and provided lots of literature to make our stay perfect. 0 is deserved rather than 1. The power was out for out for majority of the time we were there. It came on at 8:45 pm the night before check out. Yes a storm had come through the day before our arrival, I would expect a reputable company to let a guest know that there were widespread outages, but that did not happen. We let them know upon arrival that the power was out. Ms Galloway said it should be on soon. She also let us know that they do not refund for power outages. So we had no heat (cold nights), no functioning plumbing (once more; no functioning plumbing) no hot tub, no way to cook, no way to store the food we brought, no lights, ---- not even a candle. The garbage was not emptied(see picture). So none of the amenities that we paid for were usable. We had 4 people staying and 2 forks were provided. There was 1 towel and 2 wash cloths total(for 4 people). I asked by email that towels be delivered and I was told twice that they would send them, -----They never did. There was what I can only assume were dirty UNDERWEAR (see picture)left hanging on the bathroom door by a previous guest--- Am I to believe this cabin was cleaned? No Chance. We tried to stick it out for the power to come back on, by email I asked the property manager to refund 1/2 of our total, which I think is reasonable. She responded by email saying a manager call me on Monday 11-2. Of course that DID NOT HAPPEN. Once they have your money, they do not care. read more

We stayed in Moose Hollow this month and thoroughly enjoyed the lovely fall colors in the area. The cabin interior looked new with clean walls and floors of wood. We also really liked the kitchen, living room with fireplace and leather couch with reclining ends, and the big master bed. The cabin also had two very nice bathrooms - and a pool table in the 2nd bedroom instead of a bed, and a hot tub on the screened porch. The privacy was perfect! Wendy was great to work with and responds well to email and text. With roughly 40 cabins, I suggest utilizing their knowledge by describing what is important to you and they will do their best. It worked for us! If the cabin owner changes out the sleeper chair in the living room, adds a new outdoor rug at the entrance and some wine glasses for guests - it will be even better. read more

Four senior citizen ladies booked Tranquility2 of cedar creek cabins.Big Mistake. I booked it on line.But mistake. I called the number they gave me and Always got a sweet voice telling me to leave message and they would get back to me.Not once did they ever call back.My Bad,I. Should have Canceled. I made the final payment and asked for a receit .Did not get anything on the dates we booked or the two different payments we made.The week before we left I called everyday sometimes twice,always asking them to call back,that I had questions. Now I couldnt cancel,as it was too late. The four of us arrived and it was nothing like they decribe,oh the cabins were beautiful,but they are not for the seniors.They had nothing for handicap,We didnt know because THEY WOULDNT CALL BACK.You better have a gun because you are deep in the woods.A 425 pound beer was shot and killed in the same woods during the time we four old ladies would have been there. There was a worker there when we arrived and tried to help us because now we had No cell service and no street lights and oh yes no reservation.Because they never sent me any confirmation with any information,we had the wrong dates. We stayed in Pure Gold. I am giving 5 stars because the cabin and features are just as amazing as the pictures show. We had some issues with contacting Cedar Creek before our stay but customer support and responsiveness was excellent during the actual stay. Previous reviews commented on cleanliness. It has slightly improved but there were still issues that we reported. Since we saw the recent reviews, we brought some cleaning supplies with us. Overall, it was a minor inconvenience and did not impact our stay. We look forward to visiting Cedar Creek again! read more

Oak hill cabin - don't let the pretty pictures fool you- SO dirty, and under stocked. Showe was moldy and had hair in it when we arrived, kitchen poorly stocked. Management never returned the 3 messages we left about the issues. Towels smell musty as soon as they get wet, laundry is in a catch all basement that is very dirty. I wrote management when I got home and asked for at least part of my cleaning fee back since I had to clean when I got there. Never got a response. Luxury price for a poorly managed cabin. My husband and I booked the Pure Gold cabin listed on their website for our honeymoon because it was supposed to be a luxury cabin. This cabin was as far away from luxury as possible. My first hint should have been when I tried to call the number listed on their website to take care of the rest of my payment and I couldn't get ahold of anyone. The phone rings a couple of times and then goes straight to voicemail to a different number (you don't even know if you are calling Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals). We still decided to try out the cabin thinking maybe this was just a fluke. Of course we were wrong. After driving 6 hours to arrive at this "luxury cabin" on a Sunday afternoon it was a nightmare. Pulling into the driveway there was an empty plastic cup laying there and it only got worse. We got out and there is trash on both sides of the vehicle that was in the yard. Everything from Crayola markers to plastic bottles to cigarette butts. The yard is unkempt and as we approached the front door the front mat was displaced with more pieces of trash around the front door. When we walked in I found the towels for the cabin in the dryer and they were wet (which the "manager" said she approved of that), and the floor was dirty with dirt and dust. There were pieces of food still on the kitchen countertop and when my husband pulled back the comforter there were white stains everywhere and no sheets just a mattress cover. When we walked outside there was more trash around the house and in the yard. Another cigarette butt was laying on the back bench by the fire pit. The grill was also filthy. At this point I texted the number that was provided and "management" stated they would send someone out immediately to address the issues. I also called that exact same number and a woman answered the phone who is the "manager" and I requested a broom and dustpan be brought since the cleaning service was supposed to be coming to address the issues. I was then told that we didn't need a broom and dustpan that night, and that she would have maintenance bring one in the morning. From that point my husband and I knew we weren't going to stay. The manager and I went back and forth on the phone about the cleanliness of this cabin, and finally she stated that everyone is human and people make mistakes. She is absolutely right people do make mistakes, but the reason the property looked the way that it did was due to poor management and the laziness of the cleaning service. I decided to wait just a few more minutes to see what the "cleaning service" would do once they arrived. A woman by the name of Lauren arrived that looked very unprofessional (but she did bring a broom and dustpan despite the manager telling me that this would not be provided that night) and I started showing her some of the issues. This was the same woman that supposedly cleaned the cabin the first time and my impression from her was it just didn't seem like a big deal what I was pointing out. My husband and I then noticed that she had a child in the vehicle hopping around and at that point I called this "manager" back and requested a full refund and told her we weren't staying. I was told by phone and email that my money would be back in my account no later than Tuesday and of course that didn't happen. I eventually did get the majority of my money back at the end of the week, but it was a hassle trying to deal with this manager to make that happen. The manager of this company is very unprofessional and incompetent at her job. This woman will flat out lie to you and seemed to have a hard time spelling in multiple emails. I am still having to deal with the BBB with this company because I cannot get a breakdown of my original charges after being told by email she would get that to me no later than the 08/24/2020. I also want to point out the address on their website is not accurate. If you put in the address listed online and on their website (which you would assume is an office address) it takes you to an old doublewide trailer with no signs indicating that it is affiliated with this company. I believe this company to be fraudulent on what they advertise and I encourage anyone who has a negative experience to report this company to the BBB, FBI, and the Attorney General's office. read more

Bodily fluids (semen stains) on the couch downstairs. 5. Hot tub was broken. 6. No toilet paper After speaking with this company, i asked to be reimbursed for the cleaning charge for this cabin. After the recent death of my father i needed to get away and clear my mind and rejuvenate my soul. Hubby and I decided a cabin in the mountains was the thing to do, so we booked a last minute cabin near Helen, Ga. with Cedar Creed Cabin Rentals. we got to our cabin only to be very disappointed and upset! this was not what we expected! after several things that weren't right and letting the rental place know about them, they offered us a choice to move to another cabin of our choice. a very nice gesture I must add. the next cabin was just what we were looking for and I started to rejuvenate again. but a colleague of the rental place (Wendy) txt me and when I didn't answer the txt, then called me to say she had been thinking about me and my loss and offered us another night stay, free on them in another cabin (Which was amazing) I couldn't resist! who would not want to stay in this beautiful environment. I have to say Tom and his crew truly mean and do what they say! and go out of their way to make your stay a nice one!!! I would stay at Cedar Creek Cabins again and again and again, these people truly care!!! So nice to see that this world still has caring, compassionate, and amazing people who I believe that God will truly bless!! We had a great weekend staying at Cedar Creek Cabins near Helen, Ga. Wendy was very helpful and and quick to respond during our pre arrival. She also made some great recommendations when it came to activities and restaurants. The cabin was clean and had everything you might need. The kids loved the hot tub, pool table and even made a friend with a cat who visited the back porch. Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Can't wait to go back again!! read more

Pros: Lovely cabin & view at Bella Vista. The cabin has an open floor plan & modern cabin finishes. It's very spacious. It's so nice to be able to sit out on the deck for breakfast & relax in the hot tub after a day of walking around. Switches were labeled. Kitchenware is provided. The bed was comfortable. This place is close to Helen, a good location for Oktoberfest and hiking in the mountains. Cons: The place was semi-clean. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, no soap, no toilet paper (we had to improvise & picked up some tp shortly thereafter), no pillow cases on all the pillows. The hot tub upstairs didn't work. Internet was spotty. Pricy for many things amiss. read more

First time cabin stay and I was very impressed with the accommodations. The cabin was well maintained and the decor was on point. Decided to give my 16 yr old an unforgettable weekend getaway with friends and the memories they made at the "Bear Haus" are priceless. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the screened in porch as well as the game room. I would have preferred a pool table - Nonetheless a great time had by all. Wendy was a great help with our reservations and very accommodating with our hectic schedule. We stayed at Bear Creek cabin from 2/12-2/14 and the cabin is amazing! First off, communicating with Wendy was efficient and quick to reply. Everything inside the cabin is new and all wood log cabin. The rooms are spacious and great spot for 2 couples or a family. Plenty of things to do: pool table, hot tub, fire pit, fire place. The fire pit was fun to do at night, sitting by the fire, having hot chocolate and watching the stars. Great place to really enjoy the mountains! read more

Very professional staff and easy to use online reservations. The cabins are we have stayed in are very clean and well cared for. We are repeat renters at a spacious one bedroom cabin called Moose Hollow. The hot tub on the screened in back porch keeps us coming back, as well as the comfy king size bed. I really like that it's close to town but still very peaceful and removed from the craziness that is Helen. A truly beautiful cabin. My family and I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin and it was very nice. The bedrooms were spacious and the children enjoyed sharing the king size bed. It had been a while since I had stayed in a cabin, so I forgot what to expect in terms of amenities. I wish I would've brought pans and cooking utensils. The trail and the surrounding grounds had some trash. It looked like the people that stayed previously were a partying group... so that was a little disappointing...The cabin was pretty cold when we walked in, but we solved that problem relatively quickly after a phone call. Other than that, no complaints. The cabin is close enough to Helen and really easy drive, but it's far enough away for a quiet getaway from everything.
