It was super busy inside for a Wednesday afternoon (given it was that awkward week between Christmas and New Years that no one knows what is going on during LOL) and since we had the pup, we decided to sit outside. The view was GORGEOUS outside, and during golden hour/sunset, it was a beautiful way to end the year. If this is your first visit, I definitely recommend trying different wines with their tasting menu - I like dry reds so I opted for the Paint the Town Red - fruit forward dry reds. They also have many other tasting menu options and a long wine menu to choose from. Can't wait for my next North Georgia trip to stop in for more red vino!

They have a fairly large variety of wines ranging from very sweet muscadines to dry oaky Merlots. Something for everyone. The added bonus is that we were allowed to bring food because they are limited in their offerings. We were able to bring the wedding cake supplied by Alpines bakery in Woodstock. Check for yourself it's. Beautiful view of the valley and a great conversational piece with the house situated across the way. We are also entertained by live music of some country and rock. Over all a good day to wine!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Do not skip this beautiful and peaceful experience. Every single thing from…read morebooking online, to arrival, to instructions, to a scrumptious breakfast was stellar. Our interaction with Brent and his mom (Miss Mary) were great, and I will say, I think it was an extra treat to experience the hospitality of Miss Mary!! Clearly, Brent didn't fall far from the tree (no pun intended)! We booked the 'Rustic Cabin Suite' which was their lowest price room available at the time, but it was well furnished, comfortable, quiet, and perfect for a place to stay for two. It was quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. Don't forget to take advantage of the Carin winery next door, and I hear (we missed out) the lodge offers an add on steak dinner (plan in advance) that sounds divine, and in that environment, will be on our list for our next visit! The lodge itself is well-appointed with a beautiful seating/gathering/eating area downstairs. Breakfast was great with a menu of French toast and apple bake, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice and some of the best flavored coffee I've had in a LONG time (bourbon infused pecan). Beautiful grounds, beautiful people (Brent, Miss Mary, and fellow guests) and you can't go wrong with a stay at the beautiful Bent Tree Lodge and Vineyard!!

Relax amongst the vines at the beautiful Bent Tree Lodge. Retreat to a cozy bed & breakfast nestled in the North Georgia Mountains that offers a hot breakfast and a day exploring wine. The main house/lodge boasts a beautiful living space with towering fireplace, lounge area, and tables for the morning's complimentary hot breakfast. The morning we were there they had a blueberry French toast bake with compote blueberries, a sweet cream cheese icing, and paired with fruit and sausage. I got to see one of the rooms, The Garden room, that has a swing bed outside to take in the winery views! Behind the lodge is the Cairn View Winery, where we stayed above the tasting room in the Gibbs Suite. A large room where you open to an opulent bathroom with two vanities, a large walk-in shower, and the best dual soaker tub for relaxing. But, the centerpiece of the room is the large comfy king bed, floral accent pillow, gorgeous green accent wall and decor! It screams garden. Plus, you can walk out the door and right into the founders and members den to watch the winery action below. The den is decked out in cow patterns, dark leather, and is plush and inviting. Don't forget the snacks! All snacks, cookies, water and soda in the room are complimentary to overnight guests.

If I could give a lower rating for the planning experience, I would…read more The venue is undeniably beautiful--but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Our wedding planning process was riddled with issues that made what should've been an exciting time incredibly frustrating. Midway through planning, our experienced coordinator was abruptly replaced with someone far less familiar with weddings. That led to several mistakes on the day, including my partner and I seeing each other before our scheduled first look. I had to repeatedly correct revised plans with inaccurate meal choices and start times that contradicted our contract. When I brought these issues up, I was met with defensiveness--not solutions. I was told I could use the bridal salon to change, but no one mentioned needing to lock the door. Someone walked in on me, which was deeply upsetting and avoidable. Even worse: our DJ and photographer had to step in to keep things running smoothly--roles they weren't hired for. I later learned other vendors have had tense experiences with this venue's management, which doesn't surprise me now. After posting my original review, the owner responded publicly--not to take accountability, but to deflect blame onto me and our vendors, even accusing others of making "disparaging remarks" out of "fear." Their inability to accept constructive feedback only confirmed what I experienced throughout the process: beautiful venue, but a deeply unprofessional and dismissive approach to communication. I would not recommend this venue to anyone. The setting is lovely, but that means very little when you're met with chaos, deflection, and poor leadership during one of the most important days of your life. P.S. To the owner, if you're considering replying with another dismissive or defensive comment: please don't. My experience is valid, and I'm sharing it so others can make an informed decision. Rather than trying to discredit customers or vendors, I hope future feedback is taken as an opportunity to improve--not deflect.
