Tygrhe challenges me every session and I leave there feeling invigorated and stress relieved. The home studio is calming and the reformers (equipment) are fantastic. David pretended to be "processing" my refund through a "refund department" on April 13. On April 30 he says "we are still working on it". That refund never came.Stealing from your clients during a pandemic is not a good luck. I let that one slide. But then it happened again in July. And again now a year later, They continue to randomly charge me even though I have no business relationship with them. I am tired of having to call the bank to have them reverse charges. Did I mention that they have done the same to my gf? I will bet there are many former customers who are similarly situated. Once they have your card number (which I never authorized for them to keep) they will keep charging you , even a year later!

Y'all, Nona is incredible…read more I've always wanted to try Pilates, but was intimidated by both the price and my lack of coordination. I've been a swimmer my whole life, and love a good stretchy yoga class, but realized that I was kidding myself when I believed I was doing well enough in my work out habits. Two days after getting engaged, I decided this was my perfect kick in the pants to finally try private pilates sessions (#bridalbootcamp). After perusing through websites of local Pilates instructors, Nona seemed great. And y'all, SHE IS. She is such a warm, compassionate person who genuinely loves what she does. But don't let that fool you - she is the toughest personal trainer I've ever had. For being so tiny and cute, she is terrifyingly creative with the equipment and makes any swim workout I did back in the day seem like elderly aerobics. However, don't let that intensity deter you - as someone who hates group classes ("Seriously? It's only been three minutes?"), gets bored with anything but swimming, and can come up with an impressively diverse list of excuses to miss a workout, I love love LOVE my weekly sessions with Nona (I even convinced my mom to do duet sessions with me so that I could afford going twice a week). That said, even though at one point the price seemed steep, I now consider it worth every penny - it is an hour of one-on-one, incredibly personalized training. The hour flies by, I'm grinning ear to ear by the end, and I always struggle to walk down her stairs after. While swimming has been my cardio of choice, Pilates by Nona is now my nonnegotiable strength training. In the nine sessions I've seen her, I can already feel SUCH a difference in my body. I actually see noticeable tone, which motivates me to keep going back. And - random tidbit that I feel is important to note - because I'm feeling so excited about the change, I find myself incorporating more healthy habits like salads, smoothies, and water. In May 2022 I had injured my…read moreleg to a point where I could not put any weight on my right leg at all AND I had been told in 2020 that I would probably need a hip replacement in the next 3-5 years. So, I went into doom and loom and the land of waiting for my leg to wear out. I tried PrP and stem cells and that helped to a point where I "could" walk some, but not for very long without pain (meaning like 2500 steps a day.). At the time, I just thought that was my reality, but was willing to try another therapist (my 4th one in 7 years.) Enter Alicia ... I came to her as a last resort as it seemed that my previous PT exercises were actually causing more pain and enhancing my nerve pain. Her ability to diagnosis on a level beyond other therapists was the key. My simple understanding is .... that it wasn't so much that my cartilage was diminished, but that fact that my hip joint was loose in the socket and wiggling around in places that it should be, damaging the cartilage. This is the first time I had heard that and the fact that my whole spine was a little twisted and probably the main cause of the constant pain. After six sessions, I was moving without pain and can now climb steps and walk nearly 10k steps a day. Truth be told, I still have some inflammation after walking distances and a few angles that my hip can't move in, but the nerve pain went from a six to a one in two months time and my mind is blown! I can't recommend Alicia enough! A true miracle worker!
