It took a lot of discipline for both of us, there were many days when he felt like he just wanted to nap or a break. Some days his asthma triggered bad but there's no excuse unless if he ran a fever. Mr. inhaler became his best friend. Consistency became a habit, we got results...his speed improved from 1.8 seconds to 1.69 seconds, he's now pushing 320lbs of pure weight and I am so blessed we found Corespeed!! Trust the process

These are my Top Ten…read moreReasons I Love CoreSpeed & More with Sonia! 1) It gets me to lift weights that I otherwise would not do on my own 2) I get to keep up on toes and in rythm which i have not for more than a year. 3) It's totally reasonable when you sign up for a session 4) By signing up & paying for for a 6 week session, I've made a commitment to go so I'm much less likely to sit/fall asleep on the couch instead. (although she has arrangements for drop ins if that's your style) 5) It's a manageable commitment for a busy person as it's only 1 hour a day and it only takes me 5 minutes to get there! 6)Enjoy her playlist which she changes quit often which makes me more happy to dance for a new number. 7) It's great company. The classes are max 7 or 8, sometimes smaller, and generally all women. Lots of moms. Great conversation every time. 8) There's an on-line scheduler so it's easy to to check on your class for the day. 9) Sonia is a great person! 10) Sonia is an awesome trainer! Gives lots of variety in the workouts and offers lots of motivation to be a strong, healthy woman. Always pushes you. Happy workouts to all!

I've been to a lot of dance classes and countless Zumba classes and I know Zumba isn't always easy…read more However, I thought I had a pretty good grasp of it, until I tried Ana's class. Holy squats! Her class is high energy, fun, and challenging! This should not be a deterrent!! Ana is a wonderful instructor; she's passionate, motivating, and keeps you on your toes. She watches all the newbies to make sure everyone is doing well. She is very interactive and will go to you mid-dance to correct your form and cheer you on. I don't think I've ever had am instructor like her. What's even more impressive (crazy), she teaches 16 classes a week and she never seems tired! I've tried her Zumba class, her 90 minute Saturday Zumba, and her Zumba toning classes and they were all fantastic. I think I'll wait to try the Insanity class until I'm sure I won't pass out. I can't really walk after the toning class, but that's how I know I had a great work out! Classes are $5 drop in rate and $45 for a 10 class punch card (the punch card never expires!). Classes are: Zumba MW 9:30am, 5:30pm, 6:45 pm; Zumba Toning TTh 9:30am and 6pm; Zumba F 9:30am; Zumba Sat 9:30-11. I don't have the schedule so I don't know when Insanity is scheduled. If you've ever been curious about Zumba, give Ana's classes a try. You won't regret it!

So you will always hone an area or machine freed up for you. My only complaints is that they blast booty rap really loud through the speakers. Like the loudest gym ever where you can barely hear the people at the front desk when speaking to them. Other times they will play butt rock which is just a tad more tolerable. Some may not survive without head phones. The men's bathroom is not the cleanest. Always smells. If you are a sauna user. It is also just mid. My other bigger complaint is that the heavy bags upstairs are unusable. They hung em on chains so high that they are pretty much unusable and they run into the ceiling frame. Kind of a safety issue on that part..... Other than that, better than most other gyms in this area of the price point

Day 1 when I tried signing up I arrived at 6am, stood at the front desk for nearly 20min with no one around. Turns out dude was in the restroom making TikTok's. Signed up, no tour, no info on the gym, no idea what he was even really doing. Day 15 I walked in to the gym, signed in. Walked past front desk, went to warm up and forgot my water bottle in my car. Went to grab it then came back in. While I was walking back in the front desk dude yelled with insane attitude "hey sign in" I replied I already did, maybe if you weren't on your phone looking down when I walked in the first time you would have known. I am all for understanding, but you raise your voice at me like that? Not my jam, but I kept it cool cause I just took some pre and figured I was just raging from the pre. But it pissed me off and ruined my lift for that day. Day 25 they don't seem to know which is a standard for their foam roles or straps. One person lent me the foam roles, another person required an item to check it out. I attended this gym for maybe 3 or 4 month and went right back to BigTex cause this gym sucked. They say 'Mecca' or whatever but this place is Mecca crap. Scummy management, save your money. Go to BigTex, MetroFlex or even Fitness Connect. Prices are similar. Loud music, and when I say loud you have noise canceling headphone on and you still hear their gyms music. Dirty! cleaning staff is there but somehow it's still nasty, dried sweat on the window for months on end. "Ohh it's busy" I drew an 8 on the door with my sweat and it stayed there for nearly a month. I'd rather be at metroflex with the weight outside in a barn basically. Restrooms never seem to be working properly, one of the showers is always running. Yet no one is in there. Haunted or busted water system? Final review it's a NEW gym but somehow feels like it's already 4 years old. Cool equipment, shitty staff, shitty management, shitty deals, shitty across the board. Yet they are EXPANDING and making ANOTHER gym? Focus on one make it awesome, then start another. Money grubbing at its finest

I've improved not only my strength, but also my balance, stamina, and eating habits. When I started working with Sondra I had just finished my 3rd round of chemo. I had had breast cancer and several years later, uterine cancer. My diet had gotten really out of whack and I had gained about thirty pounds. In addition, my balance was terrible and I fell all the time. I had spent so much time in bed that I had very little strength or stamina. Our first year together was hard and I didn't always look forward to training. But I liked Sondra and actually began to enjoy our workouts! At first, I wasn't used to being challenged that way and I had gotten lazy. But something in me wanted to get stronger and fitter. I wanted her to be proud of me. I missed some workouts, but I kept at it. Today I'm not the same person. I look forward to workouts, and because Sondra is so knowledgeable, she knows how to keep me engaged.
