Does this physical therapy clinic take medicare?

Hi Paula B! Yes we do. Dr. Herron is a "Non-Participating" Medicare Provider. This means medicare patients pay for their visit at the time of service (approximately $200 for initial evaluations and $160-200 for follow-up visits). Following your… Read more

I was having trouble scheduling at another place for three months and Wellspring was more…read moreconvenient to me for their hours and many other reasons. I came in and asked all the questions I possibly could to make sure it would work out and ended up scheduling and moving my referral over, which was not easy to get from the first place. Two weeks later, I came in for my appointment which lasted almost 1.5hrs. The therapist recommended 2x/wk and I agreed. She walked me to the front desk where I'm told they can't accommodate me because they're booked out for weeks and I could maybe get in ONE day between then and the next available. I think if they would've worded it that way when I asked all the questions or somehow made me aware that they'd be able to get in me in for the initial appointment soon but treatments wouldn't start until weeks later. Then I would've kept looking. I then a few days later called and asked to speak to the owner, who called me back and was everything but helpful. Her level of sarcasm towards the situation by making comments such as; I'm sorry I couldn't be 100% fully staffed for you, are totally unnecessary and unprofessional. After explaining to her how unsatisfactory my experience had been and now I'm having to look for a new place, and how I didn't thought it wasn't fair that they were still going to bill my insurance knowing they couldn't accommodate from the beginning, I realized she didn't care to help or alleviate the situation, I gave up. I feel like this place lies to people just to get them in for that first appointment since it's the one they can bill/collect on the most and that's all they're after. They don't actually care about the patients or their treatment. I manage a few clinics and if my staff ever scheduled someone knowing we wouldn't be able to accommodate after the initial appointment, not only I, but all my providers would do everything possible to make sure they get on the schedule the amount of times were recommending until the schedule allows for more appointments. Either stay during lunch, come in earlier or leave later but we'd make sure our patient is taken care of. This place didn't even try and that's after I spoke with three people including the owner. And yes, after all that, they still billed my insurance because "I still got the evaluation" An evaluation that would determine my treatment frequency which they couldn't accommodate. Which if they would've told me from the get go, said evaluation would've never happened.

This place is an absolute scam. I'm incredibly disappointed…read moreby the service. I was put with a new therapist that showed me a few stretches and spent most of his time teaching a trainee how to use the computer. My biggest concern and main area of pain was not addressed at all. When I was checked in, the total cost I was given by the front desk was incorrect. I was charged nearly 3 times the initial amount a week later. I've been attempting to contact the Billing Department, the main office, anyone with access to their email to discuss this further, only to be placed on hold for 20+ minutes and then told a supervisor would call me back because they were "too busy". That was a lie to brush me off, as I was never called or responded to in any way. Expect a factory where they will push through as many clients as possible and then charge undisclosed amounts with unqualified and abysmal service from the random therapists they pull in for a summer job.

The therapists here seem to be understaffed, everyone is juggling multiple patients and I haven't…read morehad a single consistent therapist (I've had four visits.) I have a background in physical health in general and nothing I learned here was new. I was put on the same exercise program (with no feedback as everyone is on their laptops just waiting for you to finish) and was told some concerning things like "core, pelvic floor, kegals, all the same of the thing." Riiiight. I think if you're truly inexperienced with exercise or need simple exercises this would work, but professor google could tell me the same thing and not bill extensively for it.

I was in town visiting and my wife had sudden Sciatic pain while traveling. A local friend referred…read moreus to SP Physical Therapy and we didn't even yelp it initially, but just went there because of the friend referral. The PT was a bit young for my taste and thought he might lack experience. Regardless we proceeded and we explained my wife's pain. He knew right away what the problem was and explained it in great detail. He was very knowledgeable and patient, as he showed us pictures and was very thorough. My wife was excited and relieved to know that a PT would go through all this explanation to really diagnose the problem and what steps needed to be taken to relieve the pain. The treatment was excellent and we were very satisfied with everything. What seemed like a very situation on our vacation turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We are just sad that this establishment isn't located in our hometown. I would strongly recommend this place for any and all your physical therapy needs. After his explanation we are able to keep the pain down at home without drugs or pills, which we like the most about his recommendations. Thank you Peter!

Since my job is very physical. I had been referred to go to SP by my doctor. After being injured in two car accidents "both of them not my fault" lol. I decided to have and open mind and give it a shot and told Dr.Peter Lee up front I didn't think i would feel any different. But at this point i was willing to try anything to relieve some discomfort, numbness, stiff and soreness, pain. Let me tell you dont let his young appearance fool you into thinking oh he wont know what to do nor have the knowledge as someone who has 20 years experience under their belt. But let me tell u He is the most hands on and caring PT as well as well as witty that I have ever meet. Like i said before my job is physical and I can't afford to lose it do to numbness, stiffness, soreness and pain. Peter was very understanding and friendly, helping me understand every question i had and making sure i understood everything correctly. He was always on top of things making sure i was comfortable with my exercises. Always checking to make sure and asking me how i had been doing. I had been referred twice now and I also tell friends/coworkers to go see Peter down at SP physical therapy. He will do whatever it takes to get u were u need to be even if he has to feel the pain with u. His number one priority is to make his patients well enough to do whatever goal it is they have. And if for some reason he is unable to he has no problem referring u to someone awesome who can. He wont waste ur visits. So stop looking call and make and appointment and appreciate someone who listens to ur bodys needs the SP Physical therapy experience. Thank u Peter you rock.
