I first have to thank the people that left reviews. I recently rescued a pup and wasn't happy with…read morerecent reviews my original vet has been receiving. I knew at the time of rescuing my pup he was going to need some special attention due to some issues I noticed. Plenty of people recommended plenty of vets but upon reading those reviews none were anywhere I wanted to take my new best friend. Brick Town Vet not only had plenty of reviews to read, they were mostly all positive and thorough. Now, on to the vet. Renee answered the phone with a positive attitude and let me run on about how great this pup was that just came into my life. She was patient, answered all my question and worked with me on making an appointment that fit in my schedule. Even when asking what his colors were she got excited to meet him once I explained what he looked like. When I got to the office the staff went above and beyond to make myself and my pup feel welcome. Everyone during his exam (Sorry, I forget everyones names) was informative and knowledgeable, if they didn't have an answer they found someone who did. He has since returned for surgery and I couldn't be happier. This was the first time I would be leaving him somewhere since i brought him home. The Dr. took time to meet with me and explain everything that was going to happen during his surgery. They informed me I could call every half hour if I wanted to check on him. I didn't feel the need to call until they reached out with an update as I felt he was in very good hands. I picked him up from surgery and everything went smooth with no complications and the price for what he had done was more than fair. They thoroughly explained what care I needed to provide during his recovery and again made sure that I knew I could call 100 times a day if needed. Bottom line, not happy with your vet or looking for a new one, Brick Town Veterinary is my pups new forever vet!

We brought our senior cat there a few times over the last several months but he kept declining! Needless to say we made a tough decision to finally say goodbye to him today! Revisited the practice in Lakewood yesterday, Minnie was seen Dr. Weinberger. Rectal exam performed per my request due to my belief Dr. Dejohn may have been too aggressive on 6/29 with Minnie's anal glands. Dr. Weinberger clinical diagnosis was a UTI. Immediately upon arriving home yesterday after the appointment Minnie began having diarrhea, vomiting, and appeared to have blood in her urine. An antibiotic was offered at the appointment but at second thought I declined the antibiotic since no evaluation of her urine to support this diagnosis. My home is inundated with diarrhea, urine and couple of areas with weird looking vomit. I was told during the visit that Dr. Dejohn said Minnie had an abscess however this is untrue as no communication, verbal or in writing, exists discussing an anal gland abscess on 6/29/26. I just called Fischer Blvd location and was told to go to an emergency veterinarian. In all honesty, I believe the right thing to do would be for me to bring Minnie in this morning to Fischer Blvd. Yes- I was upset yesterday, but not to the point that would justify Dr. Weinberger refusing to further examine Minnie, harshly exiting the exam, threatening the police on us, and being thrown out of the office. I now have to figure out how to make this right for the sake of Minnie's health. I fear Minnie's short lived life of only six is upon us. Minnie is a rescue, unfortunately I cannot attest to her exact age.

Instead of protecting him, this clinic registered his unique microchip number under a completely different client and attached it to a dog that isn't even microchipped. When I discovered the error and realized it wouldn't let me fix it on my end, I called the clinic. Instead of treating this like the critical safety and data privacy issue it is, they refused to get a manager involved. They are forcing me to wait through the weekend until Monday just to speak to the specific employee who made the mistake. They completely refused to handle the issue themselves, claiming they didn't want to "get in the middle" of what was already said. Leaving a cat registered to a stranger leaves him completely unprotected if he gets out. To make matters worse, they openly shared another client's name and pet details with me due to their clerical incompetence. If you value your pet's safety and expect professional accountability, take them somewhere else.

It is clear that the entire staff genuinely loves animals and is dedicated to providing them with the very best care. Malia went above and beyond for my dog. She literally picked up my 64-pound dog and carried her into the exam room, and then carried her again to the treatment area. Malia looks like she weighs about 100 pounds soaking wet, so I was amazed not only by her strength, but even more by the compassion and genuine concern she showed for my dog. Dr. Koenigstein is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. You can immediately tell how much she loves animals and truly enjoys what she does. She takes the time to make sure everything is addressed and that you feel comfortable with the care your pet is receiving. The front desk staff deserves recognition as well. They are always accommodating, helpful, and kind. I am truly grateful for everyone at Bridge Veterinary Hospital. The compassion, professionalism, and level of care they provide are exceptional. Knowing that my dog is being cared for by people who genuinely love animals means so much to me. I highly recommend them!

They are just incredible people. Talented, caring, know how to run a business efficiently without it ever feeling like a business. Tender with her and gave us all the options to help her have the best life and the most gentle passing. We were lucky enough to always have Jenna Koenigstein, DVM - can't say enough about her as a Vet and as a person. Thank you BVHVET
