We had our first visit with my rescued pup this week. The man on the phone was warm and asked just a few brief questions. They shared an app with me, texted apt reminders, which is super helpful. The people at the front desk were sympathetic to my scared pup. Diane gave me a recommendation for a trainer she knows. (Great rec by the way) My dog is 3 and did not walk on leash. The vet tech was gentle with my pup, and listened carefully and shared with the Vet. The Vet introduced himself and gave valid suggestions, warnings and prescriptions for my special boy. Finally, someone called to let me know the labs were good within one day. Next visit, we go to the hospital a few doors down from the clinic, where we had our first visit. The app that they had me sign up for is pretty user friendly. I do need to figure out how to submit my claim to insurance. read more

I didn't want to give them a star but apparently you have to! We have been using them for years to treat our dog who has epilepsy and allergies! We brought our senior cat there a few times over the last several months but he kept declining! Needless to say we made a tough decision to finally say goodbye to him today! He was over 13 years old yet the vet came in to try and talk us out of it and run more tests??? Are you kidding me? We had a wonderful experience. I can't remember the name of the vet that took care of us. However, he was so nice and caring. I'm an over protective new puppy mom. He answered all my obnoxious questions without making me feel rushed or silly for asking. I am definitely not easy to please. Just ask my husband lol. I'm so glad I decided to change vets. My mini red labradoodle is 9 months old and we all felt very comfortable. The office called me the next morning with my princess's blood results with wonderful results. Clumsy and unsympathetic. We had to put down our senior foster (who was blind, deaf, and had a host of other elements). Though BTV was able to see us quickly, every other aspect of the care they provided was horrific. In terms of beside manner, the vet clumsily handled our dog on initial contact, which startled him, and then gave us a lengthy diatribe about risk of bites and needing to start over. Regarding payments, we had explained that since he was a foster, the shelter would cover costs but that did not stop them from calling us only a few hours later because they couldn't reach the shelter and BTV wanted their money! In the moment I was still too overcome with grief to take in how crass this was on their part. Beyond that one visit, the vet never seemed to remember either of our dogs; and while I'm sympathetic to having a long client roster, could they not take a one minute to look at a chart? Wow! This place sure has changed. Was rushed out during my visit and I was literally still asking questions and the dr started walking out of the room talking to me from the door as if he was in a hurry. The tech took my pet for bloodwork, etc. brought him back into the room and then quickly disappeared for the rest of the visit, not giving me the opportunity to ask her anything. thats a first for me! I asked the receptionist about a First Responder discount (since many businesses in the area are gracious and do offer one, figured it wouldn't hurt to ask) and her abrupt response, "I don't think so" (some things, however, never change). The other receptionist was too involved in the corner playing with her cell phone to look up. I left feeling unimportant, and not worth their time in comparison to other clients there who they seemed to be so thorough with. received an email explaining my pets labwork, recommending MORE labwork. for diarrhea, seriously? I responded with questions immediately, 2 days later still no response. I guess once they get paid and give you your results, they're pretty much done with you. VERY DISAPPOINTED Had some issues with the online appointment scheduler. Confirmed appt via their automatic text the day prior to appt, as well as reminders via email. Showed up on time to find out they cancelled our appointment. Older bleach blond woman at desk was not accommodating at all, more like confrontational. No eye contact either. It was like I was a nuisance to her. Did not offer to accommodate or to reschedule. I did not bother to argue or push the issue. I know the veterinary staff there and am very happy with their services, but the lack of customer service skills at the front desk was very off-putting. Based on that I do not recommend. The front desk sets the tone for a visit and it was seriously lacking. Staff training in customer service and empathy highly suggested. Agree with some of the other reviews. So I recently had to bring my dog there who was having some health issues and I requested some bloodwork be done. I was told I would receive a call by Saturday with the results. I called Saturday morning as a follow up and was told that my dogs bloodwork results were in but the doctor hasn't gotten to making the phone calls yet. So I patiently waited all day. Now their office is closed and I have heard nothing. I guess they expect me to wait until Monday to find out about my dogs bloodwork!!! I am not happy and I feel as though my dog has fallen through the cracks!! I am also not happy with the fact that even though Covid is over they still want you to wait in your car for service. When I asked why I was told it was because of all the commotion that goes on in the waiting rooms with multiple clients waiting to be seen. I'm sorry, but does a little dog barking and "commotion " from scared pets bother you?? Perhaps your staff is in the wrong line of work.....dogs bark and get anxious and make noise especially when they don't feel well and are scared. You people chose this li e of work....deal with it!!! I first have to thank the people that left reviews. I recently rescued a pup and wasn't happy with recent reviews my original vet has been receiving. I knew at the time of rescuing my pup he was going to need some special attention due to some issues I noticed. Plenty of people recommended plenty of vets but upon reading those reviews none were anywhere I wanted to take my new best friend. Brick Town Vet not only had plenty of reviews to read, they were mostly all positive and thorough. Now, on to the vet. Renee answered the phone with a positive attitude and let me run on about how great this pup was that just came into my life. She was patient, answered all my question and worked with me on making an appointment that fit in my schedule. Even when asking what his colors were she got excited to meet him once I explained what he looked like. When I got to the office the staff went above and beyond to make myself and my pup feel welcome. Everyone during his exam (Sorry, I forget everyones names) was informative and knowledgeable, if they didn't have an answer they found someone who did. He has since returned for surgery and I couldn't be happier. This was the first time I would be leaving him somewhere since i brought him home. The Dr. took time to meet with me and explain everything that was going to happen during his surgery. They informed me I could call every half hour if I wanted to check on him. I didn't feel the need to call until they reached out with an update as I felt he was in very good hands. I picked him up from surgery and everything went smooth with no complications and the price for what he had done was more than fair. They thoroughly explained what care I needed to provide during his recovery and again made sure that I knew I could call 100 times a day if needed. My 3 year old Great Dane (John Quincy) is a person. He is my baby. An angel from above. When I moved back to NJ a year ago, I literally interviewed veterinarians in order to make sure my boy was going to get the best care possible. It's been a year now and I am very pleased with the compassion and care my pet has received at BTVH. We have had the pleasure of seeing both Dr. Conway and Dr. Leff. Quincy and I find the two equally competent doctors as well animal lovers! We also love Mike, one of the vet techs, who actually managed to lift Quincy on the scale when he was being a typical "cowardly lion" Dane haha! Dr. Conway was the first veterinarian to have ever noticed that Quincy actually has a heart murmur. It's very mild and almost impossible to detect, but Dr. Conway is sharp and alerted me to the concern upon our first office visit. Dr. Conway recommended I take Quincy to see a cardiologist just to be certain, and I had him checked out right away. Quincy is just fine but we keep an eye on the murmur since he is a giant breed and well... I tend to be a paranoid doggy mama! Haha! Dr. Conway was quick to act when I brought Quincy in one month in the summer after finding several ticks on his big head. He had a fever and was sluggish. Before I even asked Dr. Conway to run a tick born illness test, she asked right away if I had seen any ticks! It turned out he had anaplasmosis, a tick born disease similar to Lyme, and after 2 weeks or antibiotics he is good to go! Dr. Conway was confident we caught it early and I am thankful we did ! Since then he has been on simparica, an oral tick prevention pill and also gets the Lyme vaccine yearly. I didn't know about simparica , but it is way better than any topical tick prevention I have ever used! Dr. Leff always seems to be around when Quincy had some type of odd emergency! Being a purebred and a blue , Quincy has all types of allergies. He had a recent out break of hives (most likely from the groomer) and was absolutely miserable. Dr. Leff was careful in her treatment plan, first giving him a shot of Benadryl and antibiotic, given the fact that steroids should be used with caution in any dog with a heart murmur. I ended up having to call the next day because the Benadryl got him through the night, but he needed something else to kick the outbreak. Dr. Leff then proscribed a low dose of steroids and Quincy tolerated them just fine. He's a happy guy now! I could go on with random scenarios where I found myself bringing Q in to see the doctors besides his normal vaccines., etc, but there is no need. All of the staff at Brick Vet are excellent and caring individuals who perform their jobs with professionalism and compassion. I have never had to wait a day to bring Quincy in for an emergency and the staff always tells us we are more then welcome to drop by just to say Hi! Some other perks in my opinion about Brick Vet is they never force you to feed your dog a particular brand of dog food. I feed Quincy Fromm and I am never questioned about my choice, whereas at other vet offices I have often felt the need to justify my choice in food over brands like science diet, etc. I also choose to order Quincy's tick as well heartworm and flee prevention online, and never feel obligated to purchase it directly from the Brick Vet. The office respects your personal space and the decisions you make for your pet, but at the same time they will always inform you of what is best for your pet. Parking can get a little tight here but that is not a concern of mine when it comes to quality care. When you find a vet who will treat your pet like family. then you know you are in the right place. :) read more

This is a long review, but if you care about your pet, please read!! I don't even know how to start with my review, I'm that upset. I've been bringing my cat there since she was very young and I trusted them implicitly. A few of the regular doctors we dealt with had left, so we saw Dr. Brongo in May of this year. We had her visit, got some blood work done, discussed treatment plans and waited for results. The staff called me a few days later and told me she was in the clear, bloodwork was fine. Fast forward to October and she was sick yet again. I took her for a second opinion elsewhere, and they needed her records. While flipping through her chart (that they emailed me as well), it was noted that her previous health concern and blood work was changed, and for the worse. Not one person in the office said anything to me. In fact, the note in her chart specifically said "Told O that BW is WNL" ... layman's terms "told owner that bloodwork was within normal limits." Also, not one mention of further testing, due to new findings on exam. New vet recommended more tests and possible course of treatment, pending specialist suggestions. Sadly to say, she was uncooperative with medicines, the damage was too great, so we made the decision to humanely euthanize. I stopped by the office shortly after getting the updated news - to speak with the staff about how this was not caught when she was there in May. I was assured that Dr. Brongo would call me the next day to discuss. Do you think she called? Nope! It's been three weeks since then and not once has their office reached out to me. To say I'm hurt and disappointed is mild; I'm ashamed to have recommended this practice to my friends and family. I understand everyone makes mistakes - but to not even call with understanding and sympathy, or to tell me they would take corrective issues for future patients is alarming. I could go on about how hurt I am, but I feel this is a start. To the staff and Dr. Brongo - shame on you! I came to you with my concerns, and you dismissed me. I hope people reading this will think long and hard about taking their pet here, if this is the type of care they can expect. read more

This place is HORRIBLE. My wife goes to take the cat to an appointment here with our twin babies and when she gets there, they tell her that only two people are allowed inside. Yes! They expected her to leave one of our 2 yr olds in the car by himself! Their quote: We can't allow the kids in since they can't get vaccinated and so it's not safe!!! Are you kidding me?! Dr. Shapely was the veterinarian who assisted from day one and upon meeting him all I could tell was that he loves his job. At no point did he rush us or make us feel like a number. Having four pets at home I have been witness to that sort of encounter a vets office before and this place is nothing like that. Dr Shapely is just a man who is knowledgeable and friendly and genuinely cares and that makes the world of difference. The doctors seem nice. Val at the front desk is a doll. Very compassionate and understanding. The front desk receptionist, DIANE is incredibly rude and has no bedside manner or any regard for the suffering families go through with a very sick pet (family member). She interrupts and doesn't let you explain what's happening with your pet. On more than one occasion, She acted as though she didn't care if my cat lived or died. The doctor who saw us seemed very knowledgeable, but wasnt able to help my cat. After two weeks of daily vet trips I was told he didn't know how to help my cat. I was then referred to an emergency animal hospital who was able to save her life. read more

Use caution when taking your cat to Brick Town Veterinary Clinic. When I left the office in July, I thought my cat was on death's door. She isn't & I've struggled w/this for the last several weeks. I found myself in a bind the first week in July (2019) & needed a vet, asap. My senior kitty was in respiratory distress & possibly an ear infection too. I'm a longtime cat mama & in the past have had cats w/serious health issues. I'm familiar w/the signs & know when my kitties need urgent care-- & Sage needed urgent care. Bricktown was the only vet I could find that had a same-day appointment. So they helped there & saved me a few $$ (initially) because I didn't need to go to an emergency clinic. So that's 1 in BTV's favor. The office staff was friendly. But, there were a lot of errors in terms of the initial intake information & subsequent interactions w/the office. Errors that despite my repeated corrections w/various members of the staff, errors that were never corrected. Plus, I had to wait over an hour, past my appointment, because they have only 1 room set up for cats. Dr. Zinna was attending. She was wonderful w/my kitty. Calm, low tone, approached my cat the way I would. I appreciate that along w/Dr Zinna's thoroughness. That said, I would never in a million years bring Sage back to Dr. Zinna. Ever. Dr. Zinna has 2 modes w/her patients' humans: lackadaisical or disregarding. She continually talked over & interrupted me. She constantly doubted the veracity of what I told her. When my husband tried to ask a question, she either ignored him or talked over him w/out even letting him finish his question. She was wonderful w/my cat, but has zero people skills. I felt completely blindsided at getting the worst possible scenario even before the exam was even conducted. W/out laying a hand on Sage, Dr. Zinna first doubted my account of Sage's symptoms & then she told me that cats don't get ear infections. So, that means 1 of 2 things: brain tumor or polyp. Then after the exam w/the stethoscope she said in her lackadaisical manner: "So you know she has a heart murmur." Um, no. I would have noted that on the intake when I gave the cat's history. That was when she noted that chronic respiratory issues are a clear sign of heart disease. But, my cat has never had a respiratory issue. Ever. She kept citing the incorrect information in the chart, which at this point had been corrected w/the office 3 times-- on the forms I filled out in person, to the receptionist at the clinic who questioned the corrected information, & to the veterinary assistant. Dr. Zinna was supposed to correct that information, yet, she did not. It still appeared in Sage's chart. It's bad enough that health care is untenable for many people, but health care for our animal companions? When talking w/the doctor on the phone a few days later, after getting the clean blood results back, my reaction at the cost of the Echo & the estimated cost of the dental procedure, there was no compassion. Instead, I got a bit of a guilt trip & actual laughter when I told Dr. Zinna that the estimated cost of BTV's Board Certified Veterinary Dental Specialist, 3-4k was a large portion my annual salary. She thought I was joking & I told her laughter that it wasn't a joke. That I flatly couldn't afford 3-4k for dental work. I also told her that the $1600 guestimate for the echo & basic dental was out of my price range right now. Again, a laugh. Now, Dr. Zinna could be a person that laughs when nervous, but I had the distinct impression she was laughing at me. This was after already having paid BTV $650. Then, in addition to ALL THIS, BTV got a lot of information incorrect in Sage's chart. Dr. Zinna failed to note that I make a feline-specific homemade diet. She wrote that I feed only chicken & broccoli. Like, what I give my cats Chinese take-out? Then when I requested the chart & xrays, so I could pursue the echocardiogram w/a vet closer to home, & cheaper, it took me 2 weeks to get that information. Why? BTV kept getting the email wrong. Finally, Dr. Zinna prescribed a 10 antibiotic course. It wasn't enough. After 10 days on antibiotics the infection returned inside of a week. I found a different vet to take Sage to & I finished the bottle of antibiotic. What did the new vet tell me? No ruptured ear drum. No polyps. No visible problem w/the ear at all. An ear infection that has cleared up. Furthermore, no infected teeth. Some plaque that he removed in the office w/HIS FINGERNAIL. I have a healthy cat w/a heart murmur. I think overall Bricktown Vet is concerned with 1 thing: making money. I didnt need the stress of the last month. S Why make your patients' guardians feel like their pet is moments away from death, when the cat is for the most part healthy? Don't let Bricktown Vet rob you. My toy poodle, Lola, was in distress, breathing hard & not eating. I called the Brick Town Veterinary Hospital & they took me right away. I asked for complete bloodwork, which they quickly provided me with test results. I also asked for them to run an IV to ensure she wasn't dehydrated for 2 days. When I returned on the 2d day & questioned the vet about her stomach being so distended, she took an X-ray & immediately sent me to GSVS for an ultrasound. They discovered an inoperable tumor on one of her aortas. Since Lola's other mother was in Manhattan, I had to wait for her to come down since I thought she needed to be euthanized. Well, we wound up having the vet aspirate the fluid from around her heart and stomach, took her to my home & took care of her with food, love & as much walking as she wanted to do. Today, fluid hasn't returned, tumor hasn't grown & Lola's back to her feisty self! I'd recommend this veterinary service, but wish they had more services that a hospital provides! read more

Had an appointment , waited 1 and 1/2 hours in my car for someone to help me with my sick cat. Nobody helped or acknowledged me. Due to covid, no one was allowed inside. I am very upset, and need to take my cat elsewhere, terrible service, rude and uncaring staff members, who ignored me. I called into the office from my car and kept receiving voice mails. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone with a sick animal. They just do not care, all they care about it seemed was money, There were plenty of dogs who were waited on, and who arrived after me. Dr. Brongo and Dr. Mazzocchi are amazing (as is the entire staff) I have one senior pug and a second senior pug that passed away very recently. I recently posted a review that was unfavorable to Dr. Leff. For those who may have read it then you know what I said and for those who did not it's unimportant. What is important is that Dr Leff came and talked to me while I was in for an appt. with my kitty today. She was very concerned that I thought she didn't care. I did post a review of my opinion only. It was based on emotions and expectations and a definite lack of communication. She was extremely upset and that really hurt me. She took the time to explain our appt in greater detail and made me aware of facts I was unaware until we spoke today.I always take reviews with a grain of salt but not everyone does and my opinion may have been too harsh. I am the only advocate for my animals and feel strongly about their care and well being and that review was tempered with a great deal of the stress and situations I have been going through since the day I adopted 2 new cats only 2 months ago. I just want to say to Dr. Leff that I truly appreciate you're speaking with me today and telling me your side. So anyone who may know of my previous review please disregard. Thank you 3-2017 I have thought for months about updating this review. All I can say about this "vet" is that you should save your money unless you want your pet to come out worse off then what they went it for. From a thermometer with no batteries inserted in your pet to the syringes your given for medication placed on a dirty towel they just used to spray "calming" spray on, this place is one of the filthiest I've seen. Not that there is much better out there these days. Let me just add the fact that Dr. Brongo the chief off staff picked up a "sterile" q-tip off the floor after my cat resisted the nose poke during a respiratory panel (which cost a fortune) and used it. I would never have allowed this but I was so concerned about my situation I had my poor mother bring my 2 cats in at the same time being that I had to work and I wanted them to get help asap. She had her hands full and was overwhelmed and just trying to help. She apologizes to me to this day for allowing that to happen as I am quite sure what my cat is going through now with some sort of bacterial issue on the same nostril is due to something he picked up. I could be absolutely wrong about this however after what I have see an experienced at this filthy vet I wouldn't be surprised. As I said I have though this review through for a long time before posting to social media and I am sure that it is the right thing to do. This is by far not the only vet that has issues which is why I do not have a primary vet and use red bank vet when there is an issue. Yes it cost a fortune and believe me there are issues with this place too but it's better than northstar at this point and closer. As I said save your money and go elsewhere. My dog has gone to this Veterinary hospital since she was a pup. Recently she was going there three times a week for fluids. My mother always raved about the wonderful people who work here. Dr. Brongo put my dog to rest a few days ago, and it was my first time meeting her. She and the staff were so professional, compassionate, and caring to us through the whole process. I was floored by their professionalism and how kindly they treated us, explaining the whole process and exactly what to expect. I rescued my dog Mia a few months ago and had set up a check up at a other vet closer to home, until I had an emergency with my Mia and the other vet told me they could maybe see me tomorrow. I found brick town vet hospital online and they were able to see my right away! We came and in and Dr Shapley was truly amazing. He took such good care of my dog. We have now switched to brick town vet hospital and love love love them. We have had another emergency since and once again they said just come right over and we will see you. Upon arriving I noticed the front looked very small but wow was the waiting room even smaller! There are four benches all facing each other to make an enclosed square with one small aisle to enter and leave the waiting room/get up to the front desk. However, that wasn't my real issue. My biggest problem was how careless and quick to judge the vet techs and Dr. Leff were with my sweet, big, goofy Swiss mountain dog. Yes he is 130lbs but he is an innocent puppy who loves all people and animals and we have never had any problem with him. They stuck us in a dental suite which was fine but turns out there is no scale in there so the tech asked if she could bring him out back to weigh him. This was not a problem because he is friendly and we have never had any problems. She walked out of the room with him and he happily and willingly followed her on the leash. About 5 or 10 minutes go by and Dr. Leff comes in by herself and asks if it's ok for her and a couple others to exam him out back where she has more hands because he is "being aggressive and they had to muzzle him after he growled at two workers" (what????) At this point I am VERY CONFUSED. For starters Tyson is harmless and is a puppy, he is 1 years old and has been surrounded by people/kids/dogs since day one. He was with the vet tech for 15 minutes before she ever even brought him out back and he was completely fine, no issues at all. She gave him a treat and was patting him before, etc. Also, if he was being "aggressive" like they say why would they think keeping him out back in a muzzle with two strangers holding him down and another stranger examining him would be the best option?? I told Dr. Leff I think it would be better if they brought him back in the exam room with me and did the exam as originally planned. She seemed skeptical and said "ok if you think he'll be better with you" as if I don't know my own dog. When they brought him in he was wearing a muzzle and had the saddest puppy eyes and just calmly walked over to me. No barking, no pulling, no growling. NOTHING. This all seemed strange. I asked if we could take it off and they said no they told me it's better safe than sorry because he growled out back and they didn't want to take chances. (Fine whatever makes them happy). So the exam began and two techs wrapped their arms around his body to hold him still even though HE WAS STANDING STILL NOT MOVING WHATSOEVER. At one point Tyson even rested his head on the techs shoulder who was bear hugging him because he was so calm and she smiled and goes "aww" (yet he still had this muzzle on? Makes no sense.) after the exam she took the muzzle off and he was unphased, he let her take it off no problem as if he wasn't even paying attention. The reason we went there was for a swollen elbow and after 40 minutes of doing nothing but weighing him and doing a general full body physical assessment they told me it was likely 1 of 3 things and wanted to start him on an antibiotic and an anti inflammatory. I asked why and she said just in case there is an infection and in case the swelling is due to trauma. There were no signs of infection.. no diarrhea, lameness, vomiting, etc. and who knows if he had a fever because THEY NEVER CHECKED IT. I asked why she wasn't considering draining it and she said because she "doesn't have very good success with it" (no lie that's what she said!) and because it's near a joint so she doesn't want to create a source of entry for bacteria (that part I get so I said fine to no draining and no getting a culture) I ultimately decided against putting him on the antibiotic because again there was absolutely no evidence to say he needed this and she agreed that this was fine. I said yes to the anti inflammatory only because this will help to rule out trauma and she already said she didn't feel comfortable draining it which was the only other option besides just doing nothing and playing the waiting game. Dr . Leff also couldn't tell me if the other elbow was a little swollen as well or if it was just his "puppy skin" when comparing it to the significantly more swollen elbow which made me question her ability to assess and diagnose. I wish she would have felt the two more closely and given me a better answer but it is what it is. They also spent half the visit telling me how he needs to be neutered when I had no interest or concern about that conversation. He is a greater Swiss mountain dog which is a large breed dog and being he just turned 1 about two weeks ago he is clearly still growing therefore that is not a concern of ours right now. Overall, I am very unpleased with the way this vet visit went and will not be going back. I hope that this review will help the staff here to be more mindful of their clients and furry patients and that they take the appropriate time for each animal to give them a full and compassionate work up. read more

Just an update from my previous review. My dog had surgery yesterday and I could not be happier with the care he received from the staff to the doctor. I was surprised when the doctor came into the room after I spoke to the nurse and provided all of the information needed. I was ready to leave when she said that the doctor would be in soon. He was wonderful, asked how I was dealing with the upcoming surgery and if I was going to be ok. I received a call from the doctor after surgery with an update. The office staff is wonderful, so friendly and knew exactly who I was when I called them to set up additional appointments. I would 100% recommend Bricktown Vet!! read more

Top notch all the way. I'll own the title now of crazy cat lady.. but.. my cats are my kids. I don't have bipedals in my life.. so these kids reap the benefits. I went a year ago for the first time, loved it then.. and went today for annual check up. I waited an hour, BUT that's because there was an emergency. Once they announced an emergency.. I didn't care how long I waited because I may be that emergency one day. Anyway.. the vet tech came out and greeted us with such warmth. Of course I forget her name when I swore I'd remember it! She was so good with Louis. She took him for lab work and treated him with such love. If I didn't know him.. I'd worry about his loyalty to me! Dr. Mazzocchi then came in and assessed his patient. I think I'm the one who needed a Xanax. Louis was calm as could be. Being he is 12, I know we are in Senior years. Dr. Mazzocchi answered ALL of my questions, patiently waited for me to review my list, and described in detail the lab work being performed.. and the plan of care following results. Being in the human health industry.. I thought how us bipedals could really learn from this. The compassion and communication is spot on here. From the receptionist when I booked the appointment, the tech, the Doc and the receptionist when I paid. This is a wonderful place to bring your fur children. read more

I love them here. Dr. Christman is an amazing doctor with a lovely bedside manner. You can tell that he genuinely cares about the animals that come through his door! I am one of those fur moms who show up with a list of things to ask him, and he is gracious and not a bit judgmental when I ask him a thousand questions! When he isn't available at the office, he always returns your phone calls personally, which is really nice! We travel all the way down there from Hoboken because of the exceptional service and care my little frenchie receives! He even came in on a Saturday for Hamlet's neutering. The administrators are extremely friendly and helpful. When I need a claim form sent over to my pup's insurance company, they fax it right over for me. They are efficient on the phone and always pleasant. If you have to wait on hold, it is never too long. They really know what they are doing, and you can tell that they love animals as well! read more

My puppy loves Brick Town Veterinary Hospital. The doctors are true animal lovers, and the animals eat it up. They are very honest with what needs to be done and what is optional in terms of service. My dad brought in his recently deceased 18 year old Chihuahua and they were able to send her for cremation and return her within a week. They were very compassionate to my father, who had been with his furry friend since she was 9 weeks old. I cannot express how happy I am with this place! I have been taking my cat to them for about a year and a half since she was diagnosed as a diabetic and everyone has been so patient and kind during the process. Dr. Brongo has been my go to vet for awhile and she's fabulous but today I had an emergency appointment and was booked with Dr Christman. He was wonderful! He explained everything and checked over my cat to help me get her eating, the price was very reasonable and I am just so thankful to have somewhere I trust with vet's that care! I brought 2 of my fur kids to Dr. Fiorito. I have never felt so comfortable, or in such good hands. Dr. Fiorito called ahead to Red Bank Vet Hospital for me one day when I brought my Indy in to have his teeth removed due to chronic gingivitis. Indy spent a few days at Red Bank where they addressed his anemia and other issues, then Dr. Fiorito operated. She is very careful, and will not risk your beloved pet dying just so she can make a few dollars. I honestly believe that were it not for her, we would have lost him. We tried with my CutiePie, doc would not operate due to her frailty, but she helped me make my CP as comfortable as could be. I asked the doc to please call my local shelter where I help out b/c we need advice as to what to do to try and alleviate some of the dental issues, she did. She is an angel, and there is not enough good things I can say about her. I will never again take a fur kid to my regular vet for a dental, my kids will go to Dr. Fiorito. For me, it's a day off of work with travel, but well worth it. My Indy is now happy, healthy, and eating like a champ. read more

Adopted a wounded cat a year ago. It was time for his first check up and round of shots to keep him up to date. He had never been to a vet since the shelter. Made an appointment with Bricktown Hospital. The staff and Dr Leff were so wonderful. I don't think my furry friend even realized he received his shots! The facility was cats only on Thursdays and what a pleasure it was. Our visit was stress free and anyone who owns an animal knows that's not usually how it can go. It was an amazing experience. We appreciated the special feline day. Made all the difference in the world. And the office was beautiful and decorated so cute. They couldn't have made our visit any nicer. We have been going to this practice since 1978 (dog # 5) and it is with great dissatisfaction I write this review. I called this morning Tuesday, April 26, 2022 @ 10:30 AM and spoke with Jessica as my dog has an ear problem/infection going on. I was told matter of fact that the soonest I could have my dog seen by a vet was May 6th. After spending $$$$$ over our 44 years with this practice I felt my pet's best interest were not being addressed. I think anyone who is thinking about using this practice should rethink their decision. Although I have never had a bad experience with a vet in this practice it is time to say enough is enough. Some staff training and listening to concerns for a sick animal is certainly necessary. I would welcome the opportunity to personally speak with someone in charge on how this matter was handled. Poor customer relations and satisfaction are a guarantee with this practice. read more

I want to Thank Dr. Christman as well as all of the staff at the Brick Veterinary Hospital for putting up with me these past few days. My dog Patrick has been sick with a very confusing condition after six solid years of terrific health. Not having any family, and only my two dogs Robert and Patrick, this very scary condition caused me to melt down on more than one occasion. I owe everyone over there an apology and my deepest Thank You for putting up with all my questions and my panic....Patrick is showing signs of being on the mend....Thank God. I have been a pet owner my entire 40+ years and this practice is the best I have ever encountered - hands down. In Spring 2011, I moved to Brick from North Jersey and had only been living in town for a month and didn't know where to take my cat; it was Sunday and she was clearly in distress. I Googled vets in the area and started making phone calls hoping to find one open. None were open, BUT this practice was the ONLY place I called (I called about 5 places) whose recorded message gave 2 phone numbers for emergency veterinary practices. I called one of the emergency places and got my cat into one of them where they treated her, diagnosed her failing kidneys and let me take her home in order to have her seen by a regular veterinarian (which wouldn't cost as much as the emergency services place). So, I called BTVH Monday morning, since they were the ones thoughtful enough to provide emergency information on their recording, and they had me come in within a few hours. From the first phone call, to my daily visits to drop off/pick up my cat while she was being treated, EVERY STAFF MEMBER has been kind, patient and helpful. My favorite is Eve who works out front in the evening hours. She will treat you like a person, and not a customer, and will love your animal like her own. The people at this practice have made me feel like family. They have earned my trust many times over. read more

This review is only for the dental specialist at Brick Town- Dr. Fiorito. I took my dog here on the recommendation of a specialist who left the Red Bank Veterinary Hospital. He had performed my dog's first procedure. He was so wonderful, and when he recommended Dr. Fiorito, I didn't hesitate. She is one of the nicest doctors I have met. She was so sweet to my dog and very professional with me. The dental surgery was successful and I am forever grateful to Dr. Fiorito. The veterinary hospital itself is not the most inviting place. It's also not AAHA accredited. I wouldn't take my dogs there for routine care, but I highly recommend Dr. Fiorito for your pet's dental needs. read more
