The Juicing Gents had some delicious juices for sale.  I tried the blood orange guava, and passion fruit.  Wow!  There was an incredible burst of flavor from the blend of juices.  I have been a fan of POG juice since I visited Hawaii and this is the boldest and freshest version I have ever had.  I added some ice to it from my Tommy Bahama concoction maker and made a slushie.  Amazing drink.  Next time I see them I'll try some more flavors. 2nd visit. I tried the Juicing Gents again.  This time I had the tangerine/guava.  Loved the rich, sweet mix of tangerine and guava flavors.  Delicious.  Next time I'm gonna try the tangerine, passion fruit and guava. Strawberries were at peak ripeness and I loved the sweet strawberry flavor.  They were $15 for 3 packs. Le Rendez Vous French Bakery had baked goods.  French baguette had a thin crunchy crust and a nice mild flavor.  Very good but not on the Bread & Cie level. Del Mar Farmers Market is great if you are looking for a farmer's market with the essentials that is easy to get in and out of.  Next time I want to try the safron chicken and the honey.

I decided to get tofu pad see ew. It was going to be 15 minutes for them to make it, and it ended up more like 20 minutes. But I bought some super cute earrings from an artist who makes them from dried flowers. And the pad see ew turns out to be exceptional, one of the best versions I've ever had so it's highly recommended! Place your order first and then go shopping and come back to pick up your food.

Make sure to come early as parking can be a bit tricky, especially if you want to park closer to the farmers' market. Once you get parked though, everything is a breeze. They even have tables and chairs around for people to eat at. There's also a playground for families who have little ones! I could never go to a farmers' market and leave without fresh flowers, so of course I had to pick up some from Hidalgo Flowers. They always have the most colorful and stunning arrangements, and for a decent price too. This time, I got a bunch with the prettiest sunflowers. We also picked up the sweetest and reddest strawberries from this one vendor. I highly regret not getting their name, but I will definitely be on the hunt for them the minute we go back. We got a cup of strawberries with some dark chocolate sauce from Strawberries and Chocolate. That was sooo good! We devoured it so quickly, we didn't even get to take a picture of it. One of the standouts for me was the Pork Sisig Rice from Baryo Eats. It was AHHHHMAZING!! It's the best kind of pork sisig that I love to eat--the taste was so good and nostalgic, it took me back to my college days back in the Philippines! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We also got some Paella from Driana Catering/Taste of Spain. It was so flavorful and the rice was cooked to perfection. We were just sad they ran out of shrimp by the time we got some, so we were left with chicken only. We got some goodies from It's Cafe Thai as well--Milk Tea with Boba, Taro Thai Coffee, and the Mango Sticky Rice. All of them had just the right amount of sweetness and hit the spot for us. I stopped at a fruit stand, truly wish I could remember which one and I grabbed some enormous peaches, they looked too good to pass up. I've never been so serious when I tell you that these peaches, were out of this damn world. I have never in my life had a peach this good. I think I've told at least 10 people since I've been back in New York about these peaches. Unreal. They had flower stands, produce, dips, pizzas, kombucha, fresh pastas, granola, baked goods, breads, gluten free options, I mean something for everyone and more. The place was absolutely hopping, a total mad house in the best way possible. Now let's talk about Grammy's Granola. I meant the nicest woman to ever walk this sweet planet Earth, Janet. Local vendors gathered in a tucked away spot in encinitas. There's a good selection of used…read moreclothing, crystals, and all sorts of trinkets and jewelry you'd expect at a pop-up market. It's very cute to stop by when I'm in the area visiting some local place in Encinitas. It's a little hard to find parking off the strip, but honestly, it's normally such a nice walk that it's hardly a bother to walk to. Dog friendly (with well-behaved owners) as are most places along the coast, and the vendors are normally sweet small business owners.
